23/11/2025: A historic restaurant in Sestri Levante serving traditional dishes. Long, comfortable counters allow you to sit with strangers. The dishes are well-prepared and delicious. The menu is on the blackboard, and the staff are friendly. Prices are reasonable.

22/11/2025: We ate at this simple and authentic restaurant on a weeknight. The farinata was excellent, as were the grilled octopus and the minestrone soup. We highly recommend this place.

03/10/2025: Great place with a lively atmosphere inside (a bit quieter up front). The staff takes their time, is quick, and accommodates special requests. The pizza is very good, and the fillet comes as a steak (please keep this in mind if you don't like rare meat), also very good. The wines are very reasonably priced. 5/5 value for money We would gladly go back here.

24/09/2025: I found it to be a "rustic" place, just the way I like it. The dishes are few but well-prepared. It's also a wine bar, but I didn't bother with the wine. Delicious sandwiches and Tuscan dishes. I'll gladly return.

14/09/2025: The fried food was excellent, a rarity to find such a variety and abundance. Trofie with pesto was delicious. It was a shame I missed the vegetable flan with Parmesan fondue; I think it was a frozen product. In any case, it lacked the attention to ingredients and flavor that the other two dishes displayed. The lady in the dining room was kind and welcoming. In short, the restaurant is worth a visit, but be careful with your choices.

12/10/2025: the place is nice, very beautiful beach side... the food feels like it's quality but there's little punch in the dishes... tagliolini with squid ink was completely lacking in salt... fried porcini mushrooms so thin that you couldn't even taste the porcini... exceptional jam tart...

01/10/2025: Been in Italy two weeks and this is my favorite meal I’ve had! Had the stuffed pasta with walnut sauce and the minestrone with great warm bread. And the house white wine was wonderful too. Don’t miss this place if you’re in Genova.

30/10/2025: We went for lunch. The place is nice, but it's a swanky farmhouse restaurant and it's too expensive for being served with plastic plates and cutlery. Gourmet cuisine in a farmhouse restaurant is ridiculous. €80 per person for "tastes"??? But the most ridiculous thing is that if you want to reserve a table on the veranda, you have to send a deposit, and if you cancel, you lose it. It's not like Cracco was the chef. I'd say this is a place to avoid. Instead, go to Cavi di lavagna al melograno and you'll eat amazing food.

29/10/2025: After hearing so much about this agri-restaurant, I decided to try it, taking advantage of a truffle-themed evening. The location is truly beautiful, the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, I'll stop here, as we had several issues with the service: dirty cutlery; being the first to arrive at the event, we had to wait for the other guests to arrive, after which we were served last only after we pointed out they'd forgotten about us. After the first course, we waited 50 minutes for the first course and another 20 for the second course. For dessert, a fior di latte gelato, unfortunately with ice in it, was brought to us only one, and again, the second course was brought to us only after we requested it. The menu presented is unusual, but adding a few truffle shavings isn't enough to make a dish exceptional. I also shared my point through the feedback requested at the end of the dinner. So, considering the journey to get here and the cost of the meal, it's not worth the effort. I'm truly sorry!

13/11/2025: A review isn't enough to describe the positive experience of dining at VoltaLaCarta Restaurant. I had the opportunity to celebrate my graduation party with my family, and Stefania was helpful and extremely kind from the very first moment. The attention to detail, the attentiveness of the staff, and the warm welcome we received made us feel more than just like we were in a restaurant, but rather welcomed, as if we were in their home. The food is delicious, high-quality, and thanks to the Chef's explanations, we were able to appreciate the history and passion behind each dish. I highly recommend it, not just for a simple dinner, but for a truly enjoyable experience, in every detail.

18/10/2025: We had a truly delicious pasta dish and dessert!!! The tables outside overlooking the square were lovely! A highly recommended restaurant in Finalborgo!

18/10/2025: The food is excellent, though the portions are a bit small. The place is tiny, which means the cash register is right next to the tables, which are right next to the restrooms. Luckily, more customers arrived; a friend of mine and I were the only customers for half an hour, and the atmosphere was reminiscent of a museum—quiet, and the waiter standing motionless a meter away from us.

06/12/2025: Terrible! There were two of us, and we ordered one appetizer, two pizzas, four medium ones, and coffee. We made the mistake of asking for bitters, and they brought us a dropperful. I pointed this out to the waitress, asking if they'd made a mistake because the amount was equal to a shot. She apologized very kindly, took the glasses for refills (note that no one ever said not to pay the difference if necessary), and then the owner intervened, snatching the glasses from our hands and bringing them back to the table exactly as they were! He shoved them in our faces, making it clear that they were fine as they were, with no right of reply. With a €54 pizza, perhaps he could have said the amount was correct, or that if we wanted more, we would have gladly paid. When I pointed this out, she laughed in our faces. Not recommended, unless you want to make a bad impression on your friends.
