When I asked people who have lived there for advice on where to eat in La Spezia, this tavern was suggested to me without thinking twice. And then I understood why!
Truly typical, starting from the location, rustic, well-kept, very welcoming and with a convivial atmosphere. You chat very easily with your "neighbors" at the table, who have been coming to eat in this place for years. The dining room staff was also impeccable, and not only polite, but also very nice.
Speaking of the menu, I finally tasted the authentic pesto, the good one! And in really generous portions. But also mesciua, a traditional soup from La Spezia. And the muscle and anchovy appetizer, which I'm not a big fan of, was cleaned up nicely.
The cheese cake was excellent, I didn't like the trifle, but that's not a good enough reason not to deserve full marks! For what we ate, its quality and the service, the bill is even too honest. Nothing but hell...

Great restaurant!!
The restaurant itself seems quite small and cramped, which fits in very well with the rustic atmosphere. The service is good and the prices are reasonable.
The menu is comparatively small, but everyone will find what they are looking for here.
Especially for someone who loves fish and seafood, this restaurant is an absolute must.
But there is also something on offer for vegetarians or people who don't like eating sea creatures. However, this offer is very small.
The food itself is very tasty!
Accordingly, I can only recommend the restaurant.

Nice place with tables inside and tables outside. The portions are generous and the quality/price ratio is very good. The staff is friendly and always present, but not annoying. Excellent tagliatelle with pesto, I'm not local, but I've never eaten such good pesto. The second courses are also good and plentiful. The choice of first and second courses varies between meat and fish. There are also vegetarian dishes.

My boyfriend and I tried this restaurant for dinner, on the recommendation of a friend. We were a little disappointed, because the quality of some dishes did not live up to the name of the place. The mixed anchovy appetizer was served to us a few minutes after ordering and it was immediately clear that it had been prepared well in advance and taken out of the fridge: the fried food was cold and absolutely not fragrant. We ordered two fish dishes as a second course: stuffed squid and cod with polenta. The squid were really delicious, but the cod left something to be desired and the potatoes that accompanied it were half raw. The dessert however was very good, I had a slice of tiramisu. The general impression is that it is an extremely touristy place and that the quality has suffered as a result. I'd like to give it another chance in the future if there are any changes.

The restaurant in the semi-basement looked shabby on the outside, but the inside was very clean and had a nice atmosphere. I would like to recommend it to anyone coming to La Spezia to visit Cinque Terre.
Fortunately, I was able to get a seat even though I went without a reservation. The servers were all cheerful and friendly. The food prices are also satisfactory.
Great restaurant, especially for seafood fans, there are also great options on the menu for vegetarians. : ) Delicious, interesting food, we recommend it : )
But it is worth making a reservation in advance (e.g. via WhatsApp), because from the moment it opens, the place fills up quickly, the place is booked for the entire evening, even in the middle of the week.

Il titolo può apparire banale ma se consideriamo che io frequento “ All’Inferno “ da una ventina di anni lo è di meno . Certezze di qualità , di specialità liguri , di una spesa finale più che onesta , insomma qui siamo nel “ Porto sicuro “ di questa città di mare . Il menù ? Basta sedersi al tavolo e “ fotografare “ l’indice sul muro e poi ci sono i bravi camerieri , veloci ma attenti alle necessità dei clienti .
Venite , non dico subito ma quasi ….!

Che dire...solo bravi bravi bravi..piatti abbondanti ed eccellenti..da leccarsi i baffi...ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo..da non perdere assolutamente se ci si trova a La Spezia...
