We always love returning to Bastian Contrario; this time I took my family for my birthday. Given the usual rich and varied culinary offerings, we struggled to choose the focaccia. It actually turned out to be a great choice, as we tried four different ones, all special and delicious, and then asked for a fifth to share. (My favorite is always the one with burrata, truffle, cherry tomatoes, and prosciutto... indescribable). The tiramisu was special, and it was a fitting replacement for my birthday cake 🎂 The atmosphere is always familiar and relaxed, the place is clean, the service is fast and attentive. The owner, Mr. Rinaldo, is extremely friendly, welcoming, and histrionic. He explains the dishes with the skill of someone who loves to make his guests feel at home, and succeeds. Highly recommended ☆☆☆☆☆

The fish and meat are perfectly cooked. The draft rosé is incredibly delicious and has a sparkling quality similar to a sparkling wine.

We return periodically to sample the excellent meats. Over the years, the focaccia, pizza, and appetizers have also become a hallmark of the restaurant. The atmosphere, renovated compared to the past, is still a bit noisy, despite the installation of sound-absorbing panels that have helped improve the situation. Worth trying again and again.
