Trattoria Del Mare In

I'm a little late in writing this review, but I really wanted to. I visited this restaurant with my family about a month ago. The place is beautiful in its simplicity, and the food is delicious; the octopus in the mixed appetizers is the most tender and well-cooked I've ever tasted! However, I'd like to highlight the extraordinary kindness of the staff, especially the owner: my two-year-old son fell asleep before his food arrived and woke up in a bad mood and crying. Before I took him out so as not to disturb the other customers, the owner reassured me that it wasn't a bother and offered us the plate of pasta my son hadn't eaten (which we took home) because "when they do that, they're everyone's children." Thank you, we'll definitely be back (with the little one, I hope, in a better mood!)

Very good food, the octopus gnocchi were special. Plus, the staff were very friendly and the service was excellent! Highly recommended.

A good restaurant on the western seafront of Albenga. We tried the appetizers, which were good but not unforgettable; the fried fish was good; the octopus gnocchi were adequate. Prices were moderate, the service was friendly and efficient; overall, a decent value.

The restaurant's location is excellent, practically on the seafront. The atmosphere is quiet and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal. The food is very high quality and good value. My only complaint is that I missed the use of garlic, especially in some appetizers where I felt it was necessary. Everything we ate was very good and enjoyable, but the flavor was a bit too mild (we love cuisine with bolder flavors, but that's obviously a matter of personal preference). Overall, a great experience and definitely recommended.

I've always heard good things about it, but I'd never been able to go because you have to book well in advance, especially on weekends. I can confirm the quality of the food. The owner and staff are very kind and professional. The restaurant is well-decorated and overlooks Gallinara Island.
