29/07/2025: Nourriture très bonne, nous avions pris une pièce de boeuf angus à se partager avec mon mari, c'était vraiment excellent ! Maiiiiis, je trouve le prix un peu excessif, ils pourraient le justifier par la vue mais il n'y a que deux tables qui ont vue sur le lac donc même pas. Nous avons mangé là lors d'un bel orage avec grêlons. Comme le restaurant est totalement vitré (parois amovibles) nous avons eu un peu peur pour nous quand les grêlons tapaient sur les parois. Comme c'est amovible, l'eau rentre dans le restaurant (plusieurs femmes ont eu leur sac à main trempé à cause de cela). Comme il pleuvait, ils ont dû fermer les parois. Il y avait un bruit ambiant, on ne s'entendait même plus avec mon mari et ma fille... Ma fille a reçu son plat bien avant nous, elle avait pratiquement fini lorsque nous avons été servis... Longue attente pour recevoir l'addition et je n'étais pas encore levée de ma chaise qu'on installait déjà une autre famille à notre table... Donc en résumé, très bon mais ça ne vaut pas le prix ni la qualité du service.

16/11/2025: Whenever we're in Bardolino, which is at least five times a year, visiting Ancora is always one of our highlights. It's a fantastic spot right in the heart of Bardolino, the food is amazing, and the atmosphere and service are second to none. Even though the owner is a bit of a local. Maurizio, we love you!

07/10/2025: A few years ago, the place was a bit more chic and had better reviews, but LaRocca is still a good choice in Peschiera. Here, you can enjoy a delicious pizza and a glass of wine in a beautiful setting. The Pizza Diavola for €12 is highly recommended! The pasta wasn't bad, but not outstanding either. The service is fast and attentive. I also picked up a pizza to go the other day; it was always quick and came straight from the oven. I would definitely come back :)

27/09/2025: The pizza is really not good; our dough was still partially raw, and the tomato sauce was completely tasteless. We were extremely disappointed; listen to the reviews.

25/09/2025: Perfect place in an oasis of nature and silence!

29/11/2025: As soon as we sat down, the waitress came right away to take our order, and we all chose the all-you-can-eat menu of tigelle and gnocco fritto. Usually, at any tigelle restaurant, you could order the ayce option and have both all-you-can-eat tigelle and gnocco fritto, as well as cured meats and sauce. Not here, though. You only get all-you-can-eat tigelle and gnocco fritto, and the €16 package includes shared sauces and cured meats for each person (5 cured meats, but really, 15g of cured meat). The tigelle and gnocco fritto also seem frozen. We also had to order an extra cutting board because the quantity given was really small, and obviously we also asked for some tigelle. Needless to say, we waited 30 minutes for some tigelle and a cutting board (which luckily was a little larger than the other one included). During this wait, we also complained about the delay, and after our complaint, we saw that they had just started cutting the cured meats (by the way, the restaurant was half empty, so it wasn't because they were busy).

22/11/2025: Unfortunately, coming to this restaurant wasn't a good choice. We arrived at 8:00 PM, and at 9:15 PM, the first menus were brought to us with undercooked tigelle and greasy gnocchi, not to mention the awful sauces. Every time we asked for another round of tigelle, we waited at least 20 minutes. We definitely won't be returning.

23/11/2025: This was still a mediocre experience. The restaurant is nice. The food was mediocre, with little choice in either main courses or desserts; it's not worth 24 euros. Fortunately, the staff was friendly and drinks were unlimited.

18/11/2025: I'm definitely not one for this kind of "restaurant"... Plenty of food, for sure, but the quality is average to low. It's hard to chat with anyone around you because the volume in the main room is so high. I only had a nice evening because I was with close friends. I definitely won't be back!

19/12/2025: I've been there many times in the past, but I think it's under new management now. The place is still the same and welcoming. Bussolengo is full of pizzerias, but I think this is one of the ones worth visiting.

20/10/2025: Lately, there have been a lot of trattorias and osterias with a run-down atmosphere and basic service... but with prices that seem out of proportion to the offerings. For example, 13 or 15 euros for tagliatelle with truffles that tasted absolutely nothing. It's not 13 euros, but at this point we'd just write tagliatelle al burro, or you could get a decent tagliatelle for 20 euros. We didn't eat well. The view was beautiful.

That said, we had an appetizer of cold cuts and pickles for two, a bottle of Valpolicella, a very good roast beef and pike with polenta, a cherry cheesecake, and a homemade strawberry tiramisu, both very delicate and delicious!!! The staff were friendly and polite...

26/06/2025: Good pizza ingredients and also good dough (not excellent but good). The only thing that didn't seem compliant to me was the price of the pizzas!! In my opinion they are excellent prices not good!!

27/09/2025: The pizza was flavorless and dry. We ordered the pizzas, saying there would be a 20-minute wait; in the end, it was an hour.
