09/09/2025: The place is a bit dated and could use a makeover. The veranda has been given a touch of color with ceiling drapes, colorful chairs, and glasses. The menu is extensive and well-stocked, with plenty of choice. We stopped for a quick lunch, sampling only the mountain gnocchi, which were tasty and not drowned in butter.

23/09/2025: They forced me to order with deliceroo or no delivery. The pizza arrived half an hour late, unsliced, and cold. The only positive thing was that the pizza was good. But I wouldn't recommend anything else.

13/11/2025: The waitress who welcomed me and the food itself were the best I got from this place. She told me about the traditional Veronese dishes served at this restaurant. I listened to her recommendations and got gnocchi, was very good paired with a glass of local white wine. On the other hand, the waiter who served me was not nice at all, I would say one of the worst I've encountered. The cherry on top was the bill. There was 4 x Copertos on the bill, which is 16 euros in total (I was just one person). When I told him about it, he looked at me a certain way and then immediately switched the bills (as he already had another one printed). I don't think it was just a mistake, I strongly believe he did it on purpose, as afterwards he just asked me where am I from (as in to know what nationalities are easier to scam or I don't know what else😅), and then left me at the table.

26/04/2025: Cena in famiglia, pizza, antipasti primi o secondi tutto ottimi Nonostante fosse il 25 aprile (festivo), quindi affollati, sono stati veloci. Gentili e disponibili il personale di sala. Con la luce naturale si gode di un bel panorama sul lago.

07/11/2025: I went to this place with friends, I don't recommend it! It's not a modern place, it's unhygienic, the pizza is inedible, flies are everywhere, I had a Coke and it was flat and expired. I don't recommend it.

29/10/2025: We had a great time. The staff was friendly and the food we ordered was delicious and plentiful. The place is a bit dated, but so are we, and we like simple things. Thanks, we'll definitely be back.

09/10/2025: I came to this restaurant on the recommendation of The Fork App. unfortunately, some restaurants don't understand how to treat a new customer. Not to mention the wait of roughly 40 minutes (which the owner refused to acknowledge). We were eight people who went to eat, but only one complained about the taste of his food (a hamburger called Lucifer). Instead of exchanging the product or simply not charging for its bad taste, we were insulted and called "stonzi" (smart guys) who didn't want to pay the bill. It was a total lack of respect, even more so when the person directly affected is someone who works in the restaurant and knows what they're talking about.

13/05/2025: Very charming place in the lower Veronese, built by recovering an old mill part of a large Venetian courtyard in red bricks. The restaurant is really beautiful, comfortable, you eat well, especially meat-based dishes.

17/02/2025: I arrived at this hotel, everything was very nice, except that I paid for four nights and I could only stay for two without any refund. I returned for another two nights hoping for a bit of a discount but nothing. The lady is very strict and advised me to book on booking.com

09/11/2025: Unfortunately, my lunch experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The wait was truly excessive: after consuming the first course, we waited about 40 minutes for the second course, which ultimately never arrived. We were forced to get up and leave the table without being able to finish our meal. The staff seemed inattentive and poorly organized. The quality-price ratio was also poor: the "tortelli trio" consisted of 15 tortelli for €18, a quantity that didn't justify the price. Furthermore, the chairs were uncomfortable and the outdoor seating area was rather cold, with no measures taken to make the atmosphere more comfortable. When it came to the bill, we encountered another inconvenience: a sign at the register stated that separate bills were not accepted, which made splitting the payment quite difficult given that we were a group. Overall, what should have been a pleasant lunch turned into a disappointment. I would not recommend this restaurant.

09/11/2025: The staff were mostly friendly, but most didn't speak enough Italian to take an order or accommodate a request. The location was very nice, overlooking the river, but unfortunately, since we visited in the fall, insects fell on our table, on our plate, and probably even in our drinks, while the lost waiter wandered around with the glass, asking half the tables who had ordered it. The greasy cutlery and dirty knives were also reported by the tables next to ours, not to mention the excessively long wait times. At the very least, it would have been appropriate to provide coverings for the metal chairs; even an optional cushion or blanket would have been more than adequate given the cold season. Returning to the wait times, 40 minutes for the first course, which was undoubtedly good, but we had to cancel the second course after another good half hour of waiting between the first course and the final decision to leave the restaurant. I conclude by saying that the restaurant informs its customers at the last minute that it does not want to pay for separate bills, by posting a note at the register, and not even offering the option of splitting the bill for larger groups, as happened in our case where one person had to pay for everyone. By also posting a note inside the menu, this inconvenience could have been avoided. Perhaps when it's warmer and there are fewer people, the weather is even better and the food could be better.

21/11/2025: We went to this pastry shop for breakfast last Sunday. The pastries were delicious, the service was prompt and impeccable, and the prices were fair. We'll be back to try other pastries! The atmosphere is beautiful and spacious, with plenty of tables.

20/07/2025: Sono un amante dei ristoranti tipici di montagna .la Stua è una di quelle che negli anni si era fatta un nome e prestigio , purtroppo è cambiato tutto .Recentemente ci siamo andati per fare un pranzo di compleanno , posto sempre bellissimo ma freddo.Preso aperitivi aime’ fatti da personale giovane e impreparato ,risultato imbevibili (qui colpa del proprietario che l’ha messo lì,non per il fatto che fosse giovane,ma che fosse impreparato),e vabbè . Iniziato il pranzo con tipici gnocchi di malga pressoché immangiabili , il secondo famoso stinco , insipido con del sugo che per me non era il suo sugo di cottura e patate di contorno sembravano quelle in sacchetto surgelate che non legavano per niente . Esperienza totalmente negativa anche sull’acqua microfiltrata al costo di 2,50 che personalmente non piace, la preferisco in bottiglia ,che lì non la tengono e pure non te lo dicono , cosa che per me è scorretta.Tengo a dire l’unico che ha mangiato e’ il mio cane , mi piace dire così !I bei ricordi della stua sono andati sfumati .

03/06/2025: Rifugio/Ristorante molto bello, ben curato con personale gentile. Le pietanze che abbiamo mangiato erano molto buone, il servizio nonostante il locale fosse affollato sono stati velocissimi. Sicuramente ci tornerò.

31/03/2025: era da un po' che volevo provare questa gelateria e ci siamo fermati a fare merenda io e mio marito. abbiamo assaggiato il gusto american dream che è alle arachidi con granella di cioccolato. b u o n i s s i m o e aggiungo finalmente un gelato alle arachidi che sa da arachidi.. io poi ho assaggiato anche il cioccolato fondente, s u p e r b o. ho visto poi tanti altri prodotti (tipo i gelati sullo stecco) che mi ispiravano, prossima volta magari. l'unico "neo", che non mi impedisce di dare però il massimo, è il fatto che non ci siano gusti senza lattosio (o almeno io non li ho visti). è un po' un peccato secondo me, io sono intollerante al lattosio e ho risolto prendendo le pastiglie specifiche e amen, però magari un altro avrebbe cambiato posto

04/11/2025: Clean room. Unfortunately, it's only accessible by car (not on foot) from the airport as there's no footpath. And the transfer costs a whopping €10 each way (3 minutes).

26/10/2025: We were a party of 4 staying in Hotel Leon d'Oro. Great hotel and ticked all the boxes for us. We included breakfast in our 4 night stay, which was varied, plentiful and delicious. We ate in the hotel restaurant one of the evenings, again great food and worth a visit. This hotel is approximately a 15 minute walk to the main Piazza Erbe, and about a 7 minute walk to the bus station and train station. Easily done by us but if you are doing alot of daytime sightseeing, then out again in the evening, it can seem a bit of a walk. However, we would do it all again because the hotel for us was perfect. All staff were professional and helpful, hotel clean and all bedroom amenities replenished daily, including the towels and sheets changed after only 2 days.

25/08/2025: Lovely place with a warm welcome. The fresh pesto pasta and tiramisu were delicious. Simply excellent. Relaxed and homey atmosphere.

08/08/2025: Homemade Italian food, a charming place outside the tourist center, and the woman who served us was a sweetheart, what more could you ask for!
