01/09/2024: Very nice place, it’s the second time 2 years that we eat here an it was delicious. Staff was nice and friendly. Always watching to see if you need something else. A nice limoncello from the house at the end. ☺️

01/09/2024: It's the second time we eat here and the experience was amazing both times. The staff is very attentive and nice and the food is amazing. We ate mussels as the first course and for second we got a fish platter and a rib-eye steak, both very well cooked and very tasty. Would really recommend this place!

26/08/2024: Ero una cliente da anni e ho sempre mangiato la pizza molto buona. Ieri sera tre insalate con ingredienti mediocri, le due mie amiche rimandano in cucina le insalate con le acciughe perché esageratamente piccanti ( quasi preoccupate che ci sia un qualcosa di avariato) e chiediamo una pizza in sostituzione. 40 minuti di attesa per la pizza e scegliamo di andare a pagare senza aspettare oltre. Alla cassa la titolare, molto scortese, vuole farci pagare tutto. Al mio disaccordo un altro responsabile ci dice che ci offre quello che avevamo mangiato. Scortesi e maleducati. Poteva succedere delle insalate, bastava sostituirle con la pizza in modo repentino.

28/08/2024: We came across this place by mistake because the hotel where we were staying had recommended another restaurant to us, however I must say that the food was all good! Even the homemade dessert they made was exceptional! Right portions! Friendly and cheerful waitresses... the bill was also adequate, I definitely recommend it and I will certainly stop as soon as I return to the area, thank you very much

28/08/2024: We went for pizza as a family. Pizza was ok. The service is underground. Ordering a second drink or dessert is almost impossible. When I went to the bar to pay, the table was already cleared and my wife and children were almost thrown out. If you like mass processing, this is the right place for you.

08/08/2024: Cibo di ottima qualità, buona scelta tra terra e mare/lago. Ricette locali e anche qualcosa di sardo (ottimo il mirto della zia) Pasta fatta in casa. Servizio e accoglienza squisiti. Prezzi più che giusti. Terrazza al fresco. Consigliato

19/03/2024: The kindness and professionalism of Laura and Massimo make this bar a second home, a pleasant place to spend time (both indoors and outdoors). Sweet breakfasts, but with the possibility of also eating something savory and an aperitif with various appetizers. The place is welcoming and very clean. 100% recommended.

07/07/2024: Trentanove anni fa la vecchia gestione lasciò causando dolore alle famiglie veronesi che al venerdì mandavano ad acquistare forse il miglior baccalà di Verona e provincia. I nuovi gestori, ormai da quasi 40 anni, propongono il baccalà realizzato con la storica ricetta: troverete inoltre la pastissada de caval e gli gnocchi. Nel menù compaiono anche altri piatti che non demeritano. Un ambiente famigliare con servizio attento e gentile come nella trattoria di una volta. Per i turisti che passano da Verona un'esperienza ed un ricordo piacevole da non perdere....a buon prezzo.

27/05/2024: Siamo andati per un pranzo in famiglia, purtroppo abbiamo beccato la domenica sbagliata in quanto era pieno di chiassosi tifosi di calcio quindi era praticamente impossibile parlare e perfino la cameriera faticava a prendere gli ordini. A parte questa “nota” negativa, abbiamo comunque mangiato bene. La trattoria propone piatti tipici della cucina veronese, scelta non è molto ampia ma le porzioni sono abbondanti. Prezzi, secondo me, leggermente alti per essere una trattoria.

22/08/2024: We visited Magari restaurant during our vacation and arrived at a truly beautiful place. We ordered our food, and an appetizer was served, which was really delicious and set the bar very high. For the main course, we ordered their beef fillet with pepper sauce, and here we were very disappointed. The meat had no flavor, and it looked like it was boiled rather than fried. We ordered it medium, but our steak was almost fully cooked. The potatoes were burnt, and the only flavor in the dish came from the pepper in the sauce. All in all, it was a brown dish with more brown on top, and not very exciting. We contacted the staff, and they offered us to choose another main course, which we accepted. Our next main course was delightful and tasted good. We thought everything was under control and ordered coffee, dessert, and drinks to support the restaurant for giving us the option to choose another dish. When we went to pay the bill, both beef fillets were on it, and we asked the waiter if it was a mistake. We received a snobbish reply that it was not a mistake, but just our opinion that the dish wasn't good, and that they had served this dish to others without any complaints. We were completely baffled and ended up paying a bill with two main courses per person, even though we didn't eat our beef fillet. We left with a strange feeling and definitely have no desire to return.

30/06/2024: Come locale non è male... Il cibo tutto sommato può andare ma nulla di particolare e le porzioni a dir poco ridicole, tempi di attesa biblici tra una portata e l'altra inoltre a locale vuoto eravamo i primi e siamo stati serviti dopo gli ultimi entrati. Il personale non molto solare quasi scocciato non ci ha aiutato a rendere la sosta gradevole.... Sicuramente per chi in visita di un giorno a Verona è sconsigliatissimo perché non si fa in tempo a fare altro per la lunga sosta.... ANDATE ALTROVE!!!

16/06/2024: Ottima location, climatizzata , con veranda estiva, personale cortese e gentile, sono stato a pranzo oggi 16 giugno, io e la mia compagna abbiamo assaporato un'attimo bollito con salsa peará, accompagnato da verdure e un ottimo vino della casa, porzioni abbondanti e preparate secondo la tradizione della cucina veronese.

23/07/2024: Fabulous food,served with a touch of 🎭, very appropriate for setting so near the opera house.... The vengole was perfect, the beef to die for and king prawns in bas Armagnac superb. Great selection of wines... highly recommend

08/07/2024: What an amazing not so secret restaurant this is. Not only is the food excellent & very attentive and friendly service but wonderful entertainment is provided by the owner and guest singers performing short excerpts from various operas. That came as quite a surprise. So much so we returned for a 2nd night of the 4 we had in Verona. Well done to all involved.

03/05/2024: Ambiente rilassante e famigliare, mangiato un primo eccellente ed una trota salmonata che mi ha stupito, mai immaginato che una trota potesse essere un piatto così prelibato, complimenti alla cucina tutta! Prossima volta che mi trovo nei paraggi (vivo nel Frusinate) sarò felice di assaggiare lo stracotto d'asino.
