01/06/2025: We stayed during the June 2nd long weekend; there were 7 of us and we booked a quadruple and a triple. The rooms were spacious and clean, the breakfast was very good and the staff was friendly. We recommend this property for its convenient location, close to the highway and the main parks of Garda.

28/02/2025: Reserved, quiet near the center of Sommacampagna and the motorway, clean rooms with very comfortable bathroom with shower with all the comforts, fridge in the room even if there are only two bottles of water, however all in all for a three star hotel it is very welcoming. The staff I met were friendly and helpful. They also serve breakfast, but I won't use it because I'll be leaving early tomorrow morning. I recommend it if you're around for work, there are also restaurants and pizzerias nearby 🔝

01/08/2025: It was a return for me, after more than 30 years (because I don't live in Verona). It's a fantastic restaurant, with the authentic flavors of Po Valley cuisine, and Veronese in particular. The tagliolini with three sauces (tomato, ragù, and chicken liver ragù) are simply breathtaking. I'd call the boiled meat and dessert trolleys epic. If you're passing through Verona - Dossobuono, it's definitely a place worth visiting!

13/08/2025: Lunch outside today. Rusty nails were sticking out of the wooden walls, mostly warped, dangerous for anyone sitting nearby. I'd recommend major maintenance because, unfortunately, the outdoor tables are in a truly dilapidated condition. As for the food, the dumplings were absolutely bland, and the bigoli with wild boar were probably not pan-fried but served with two spoonfuls of ragù on top, with no connection whatsoever to the pasta. Basically, plain pasta with two spoonfuls of ragù on top. I ordered a side dish, "sautéed" potatoes. Basically, pan-fried French fries, about 15 of them burned and almost completely blackened. Are we picky eaters? I don't know. The food used to be divine, but in my opinion, not anymore, and the prices are high for every dish. It's a shame to travel so many miles and be disappointed. A real shame, but I won't be returning.

20/07/2025: We came in for lunch. 2 first courses: mountain gnocchi, never seen so small. They looked like passatelli, but overall they were fine. Bigoli with wild boar ragù were bigoli in bianco with chunks of wild boar thrown on top (dry as hell). It seems like whoever made these bigoli had never tasted wild boar in their life. We had also ordered a second course, but when the young waiter cleared the table, he clearly forgot to start the second courses... after almost an hour we left... it's a shame the owner was kind and the ingredients were good, but the execution in the kitchen and organization in the dining room were lacking.

06/08/2025: We were poorly received; we felt like we were in the way. Yet, there was no one in the restaurant around 7:30 p.m. on a Thursday. We went across the street to eat sushi.

21/07/2025: A real favorite in Verona! An excellent discovery from start to finish. Flavorful starters, a perfectly cooked and fragrant prime rib, and an absolutely delicious homemade tiramisu. The dishes are generous, the flavors authentic, and all served in a warm atmosphere with attentive staff. We had a blast! A trattoria just the way we like them, which we recommend without hesitation. Bravo to the whole team! 🇮🇹👏

13/08/2025: The tortellini are really good. I can't say whether they're the best, but we enjoyed them. The price is a bit high for the portions, but there are more expensive ones. You just have to look at where you're at.

04/09/2025: I went to Il Bue Nero restaurant with my girlfriend, and our experience was generally positive, although there were a few personal details that didn't entirely convince us. We had a tartare appetizer: the preparation was interesting, but there was a crunchy ingredient that I personally didn't like and made it difficult to enjoy the entire dish. The fried brain had a great texture, but some parts were unpleasant to swallow for me. The bread with egg cream spread was excellent, one of the best elements of the appetizer. The meat for the main course was exceptional, tender and well-cooked, accompanied by potatoes with a garlic and oil sauce that were truly delicious. Dessert consisted of churros with strawberries, Campari, and white chocolate: the combination of strawberries and Campari was out of this world, while the white chocolate and Macha weren't to my liking. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, and the service is attentive and friendly. Overall, we spent about €130 for two, a fair price considering the quality and service. I recommend Il Bue Nero to anyone looking for interesting dishes and a refined atmosphere, keeping in mind that some flavors may not be to everyone's taste.

31/08/2025: I went to this place with my partner. We ordered two iced coffees. Mine had a strange taste, and I noticed a lot of green bits in the glass. We went to the cashier to report it, and they told us they were definitely mint bits, claiming the shaker hadn't been cleaned properly. Despite admitting their mistake, they still charged us the full price of €10.00. We definitely won't be returning.

17/08/2025: If you want to dine in the heart of Verona, this restaurant is not bad at all. The pizza is decent, the carbonara is excellent, and the little one absolutely loved the spaghetti al pomodoro. The only downside is that there's no children's menu. Otherwise, highly recommended!

16/03/2025: Trovato, su consiglio di amici abitudinari al Vinitaly di Verona, e che dire... soddisfattissimi. Qualità del cibo eccelsa.... Abbiamo bevuto un Valpolicella strepitoso. Antipasto di qualità, e dei Bigoli all'anatra e tartufo da urlo. Il prezzo è in linea con la qualità. Servizio eccellente. Al prox giro in quel di Verona sarà una tappa fissa.

11/03/2025: Tornati da Ugo sabato a pranzo. Sempre tutto ottimo! Radicchio e gratinato al formaggio e sarde in saor per antipasto e pappardelle con ragù di agnello buonissimo Ottimo vino rosso valpolicella superiore ripasso. Sempre consigliato!!

20/07/2025: Sono un amante dei ristoranti tipici di montagna .la Stua è una di quelle che negli anni si era fatta un nome e prestigio , purtroppo è cambiato tutto .Recentemente ci siamo andati per fare un pranzo di compleanno , posto sempre bellissimo ma freddo.Preso aperitivi aime’ fatti da personale giovane e impreparato ,risultato imbevibili (qui colpa del proprietario che l’ha messo lì,non per il fatto che fosse giovane,ma che fosse impreparato),e vabbè . Iniziato il pranzo con tipici gnocchi di malga pressoché immangiabili , il secondo famoso stinco , insipido con del sugo che per me non era il suo sugo di cottura e patate di contorno sembravano quelle in sacchetto surgelate che non legavano per niente . Esperienza totalmente negativa anche sull’acqua microfiltrata al costo di 2,50 che personalmente non piace, la preferisco in bottiglia ,che lì non la tengono e pure non te lo dicono , cosa che per me è scorretta.Tengo a dire l’unico che ha mangiato e’ il mio cane , mi piace dire così !I bei ricordi della stua sono andati sfumati .

03/06/2025: Rifugio/Ristorante molto bello, ben curato con personale gentile. Le pietanze che abbiamo mangiato erano molto buone, il servizio nonostante il locale fosse affollato sono stati velocissimi. Sicuramente ci tornerò.

05/09/2025: We had to wait almost an hour for our food, even though it was barely full. Food that wasn't worth the wait! The service seemed unprofessional, arrogant, and dismissive. And when we neutrally asked about a €5 surcharge (for stale bread and the waterfront view), we were asked if we "had even been to Italy." We also had the impression that the waiters laugh at guests as soon as they left—and we witnessed it ourselves when they later made fun of other guests. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

05/09/2025: The service was fake-friendly and restless, even though it really wasn't busy. We waited 45 minutes for the main course, which was okay at best. A thick loaf of bread is served – you can ask for salt and oil. They charge €5 for this, which is common in Italy. If you ask for more details, they ask if this is your "first time in Italy." No – that didn't happen in Florence, Bolzano, Pisa, Livorno, or Lucca. Strongly avoid this place.

22/08/2025: If you have a dog, don't even consider going to this restaurant because they don't like dogs. Cats are welcome, but not dogs, which, to be honest, aren't accepted in any other restaurants except the pizzeria. What shocked me and my friends was the lady at La Busta, who was rather rude and irritable.
