17/05/2025: Sono stata qui una domenica a pranzo con la famiglia. Dopo mezz’ora che eravamo seduti, su sollecitazione, sono venuti a prendere le ordinazioni. I piatti sono arrivati dopo 40’. Prezzi cari per l’ambiente e il servizio poco organizzato. A mia figlia dovevano portare un piatto vuoto che non abbiamo mai visto. Al momento di pagare il conto si sono scusati e ci hanno fatto lo sconto di 5 €!!!

20/01/2025: Devo dire che il locale è gradevole e l'accoglienza è davvero buona. Fanno cucina locale, ma fatta bene. Condivido la scelta di non fare una lista troppo lunga, meno piatti, ma fatti come si deve. Antipasti intorno ai 10-12 Euro (spicca il gnocco fritto che non è locale, ma interessante). Primi anche qui sui 10-12 Euro, con una menzione per gnocchi e tagliatelle. Secondi sui 18-20 Euro con piatti tipici veronesi. Acqua E 3 la bottiglia e vino alla spina E 6 per mezzo litro (buono, ma un po' caro). Caffè 2 Euro e coperto 2,50 Euro. Un pallino in meno per il bagno che non è accessibile alle persone con handicap.

19/12/2024: Ero invitato ad una festa di compleanno in questo locale, tre giorni prima mi hanno comunicato che la festa non si faceva perché il titolare del locale ha comunicato che la prenotazione veniva disdetta, dopo che era stato organizzato tutto... pure il dolce. Forse doveva accontentare e far accomodare al nostro tavolo altri clienti. Non c'è serietà.

10/05/2025: Titolare di una maleducazione incredibile. Bambina allergica all uovo hanno gli spaghetti confenzionati ( la bimba può mangiarli) sempre se viene fatta in un altra pentola a parte con l acqua dove non ha cotto la pasta fresca, morale della favola non me li ha fatti e ha lasciato una bimba senza mangiare...sconsigliato

26/03/2025: Locale piccolo e curato, personale accogliente e discreto. Antipasto da menù Vigneto dei salumi ottimo e risotto all'amarone delizioso. Non è la prima esperienza e tornerò per assaggiare altre proposte. Consigliato.

05/06/2025: Mein Mann bestellte Teigwaren und ich Vitello Tonato. Leider wird dies nur mit Mayonnaise mit etwas Thon serviert. Sehr schwer.... Nicht zu empfehlen. Die Weinkarte ist super...

14/05/2025: We hadden de pasta carbonara en de lasagne. Deze waren gewoon oke maar niet wow voor italie. Porties waren ook zeer klein. Daarom nog een tiramisu genomen en deze was wel voor veel italianen een klap in het gezicht. Beoordeling is oke Je betaald 2euro tafel kost pp

21/05/2025: After arriving in Bardolino, we spontaneously decided on this restaurant while strolling through the old town. The staff was very friendly, efficient, and accommodating. The food and drink menu left nothing to be desired. We opted for a glass of Rosé and were not disappointed. The dishes were all plentiful and everyone enjoyed them. To finish off our meal, we had an espresso or a lemonade. We can recommend Ancora with a clear conscience.

19/06/2025: The food was fine but not amazing and not worth the price, especially when there are other better places just a few minutes walk away. The bread turned out to be 10 euros and was not good. Service was okish. We were the only ones there all night, wish we'd read the reviews properly before but the michelin stickers drew us in! Also music playing was a bit naff.

10/06/2025: Worst restaurant I’ve ever been to - in my life. I’m not joking. I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant, or felt like I had to be on my guard all night to avoid being ripped off. We were almost finished with our bottle of wine so they brought us a new one, already opened, without asking first. They then got angry and aggressive when I gently pointed out that we didn't order it. To appease them we ordered the desserts that they forcefully insisted we take - despite wanting to leave. The final coup de grace was to charge us exorbitant sums for bread and olive oil and god knows what else that we didn’t ask for and didn’t eat. When we dared ask about that - also gently to avoid cashing a fuss and ruining our night further - they started shouting and told us to leave! The female owner then physically pushed us out while hurling abuse in front of other diners!! I thought I was in a bad movie. I've never seen anything like it. We were all shell shocked. I've seen the positive reviews and all I can say is - you got lucky! The owners are genuinely crazy, and I don't say that lightly. So maybe they just weren't working the night you were there, or were busy elsewhere. Avoid at all costs, unless you like the idea of a ruined evening that you can tell your friends about for the rest of your life...:)

26/06/2025: Super nice location at the arena of Verona. The staff was friendly and fast. Definitely recommended for a drink or a bite to eat. The food was fine and a good price-quality ratio. Unfortunately our food did not arrive at the same time, that was a bit less. Furthermore a nice place to sit for a while and enjoy the surroundings.

26/06/2025: Very friendly. Gluten-free options only, but the risotto is highly recommended, especially the sea scallop.

26/04/2025: Cena in famiglia, pizza, antipasti primi o secondi tutto ottimi Nonostante fosse il 25 aprile (festivo), quindi affollati, sono stati veloci. Gentili e disponibili il personale di sala. Con la luce naturale si gode di un bel panorama sul lago.

07/06/2025: We have been to this restaurant several times in the past years and have always eaten well. Yesterday, however, it did not go well, cold tortellini with a bad seasoning, we had them redone and they came back exactly the same. The creamed cod was good. I reported everything to the waiters who took care of my complaints. The bill was salty. Never again.

07/06/2025: Beautiful location, eating with a view is always pleasant. The appetizer did not remain in my heart, in addition to being limited. The second courses were good, especially the goat. The dessert was down. The service could be improved.

16/06/2025: My house, like feeling at home. Always updated menu with the best fresh raw materials, fish is the catch of the day. Kind and friendly staff, excellent wine list, wines of all price ranges. The owner Tonino always gives good advice, he is sincere. If you often see the same customers, it means that you had a good time. If only there were more like them.

16/06/2025: We ordered: -Top burger (8/10) taste was good but It was too thick to bite all the layers at once and too big to finish it (12€) -Crispy Bacon Burger(8.3/10) very tasty sauce Both came with French fries There are vegan options as well 🌱 We'll come back!

07/04/2025: La Sfera is a typical local pizzeria and restaurant with a wide variety of local cuisine. As one would expect also with an extensive list of wine, especially the local ones. We had the “La sfera” appetizer (delicious!), home made gnocchi and beef main course. Personnel is very friendly. But for a local restaurant it’s a bit pricy.

23/03/2025: I booked for a group and I pointed out that I have celiac disease, only that when the waiter arrives to take the orders I am told that he has to go and check if there are still gluten-free doughs (I repeat, I had booked). The pizza with quality ham arrived well and left a little to be desired, however now it's time for dessert and I order a gluten-free chocolate salami. The waiter arrives with the dish and I ask him to confirm that it is suitable for my problem and I hear him reply: uhm I have to check the cream is gluten-free anyway. But I say is it possible? We're not there. Celiac disease is not a choice but for me it is a serious emergency room problem and luckily everything went well but never again to the ball.

24/04/2025: Nice and well kept bar, great beer. Stopping for refreshments during a bike ride is perfect.

13/04/2025: A mess. One star only for the service, for the waiters who are very kind and quick otherwise I would have given zero because the owners are really rude (I don't know the names but I'm referring to two ladies) and I don't recommend it. If you want to have a good breakfast, wake up calmly and eat well, it's better to change bars. I don't comment on food. They still have to learn to respect the customer. I won't go back.
