27/08/2024: I have known this pizzeria for more than 13 years, I can confirm that the quality of the products is truly excellent, they serve both pizza but also delicious traditional Italian dishes. Their service is also really good, Mr. Nicola and sweet Patrizia have been proudly carrying on the business since 1989, exactly 35 years! If you want to admire Piazza Sanzeno but above all the church, this is the right place.

10/08/2024: Pizzas were ok but had better elsewhere in Verona. Do avoid the pasta dishes here - the egg on the carbonara was literally scrambled, I’m not Italian but can make a carbonara without scrambling the egg - this should be an elementary dish any self respecting Italian chef should have mastered. Dull and dated decor. There are many better restaurants in San Zeno and Verona.

08/08/2024: Siamo stati a pranzo in questo ristorante la settimana della riapertura dopo i lavori di ristrutturazione. Bravissimi. L’ambiente è curato, interessante e accogliente. La cucina a vista rende ancora più coinvolgente l’esperienza, i piatti veramente ben fatti e di ottima qualità. Tutti molto gentili. Bravi.

06/08/2024: Luogo dal panorama incantevole. Giardino esterno ben curato ed interno con cucina a vista molto particolare. Attenzione verso il cliente, servizio impeccabile e cordiale. Cibo ottimo, dall'antipasto al dolce con assaggio di olio di loro produzione ed entrèe di benvenuto. Prezzo adeguato al servizio ed alla cucina di alto livello che nasce dall'incontro tra tradizione e innovazione. Una di quelle "coccole" che fanno bene anche all'anima.

18/07/2024: Osteria La Fontanina By Nicola and Marta Tapparini A restaurant that deserves the star. We returned to Fontanina for the umpteenth time and as always :10+ for the kitchen and the cellar. Ditto for the welcome from Marta and the staff in the room The Fountain forever

21/07/2024: Attirati dalle ottime recensioni abbiamo deciso di provare il ristorante di questo agriturismo. ..la location è rustica ma piacevole, ci hanno dato un tavolo sotto un portico abbastanza fresco. La qualità del cibo secondo noi è così così, i tortellini per esempio niente a che vedere con quelli artigianali che si trovano nei vari pastificio e trattorie di Valeggio, sembravano quelli di Giovanni Rana, cioè abbastanza buoni ma non certo eccellenti. La torta di rose salata abbastanza insulsa, buoni invece i secondi (costine, e roastbeef aromatizzato al caffè). Torta alla ricotta niente di che.

18/07/2024: Il posto è romantico, bucolico, i proprietari molto gentili e disponibili, il Menù semplice, proprio come piace a me, senza piatti troppo elaborati, ma tutto gustosissimo perché la materia prima è davvero genuina...Spero di avere occasione di tornarci!

12/07/2024: Da una trattoria che ospita camionisti mi aspettavo di più, non tanto nella qualità/quantità dei piatti ma nella cura per il cliente. Se ordino tagliolini al ragù, e mi portano fusilli (poco conditi), se chiedo la bistecca al sangue e me la servono stracotta, allora la cura per il cliente non esiste. Peccato

24/06/2024: Typical business hotel restaurant, the nice part is in front of the hotel swimming pool, the rest is a large hall for events. I hardly believe that conventions pay private prices, which are decidedly high, we are not in the city centre, nor do we have to stay if we are in a hotel. There are excellent venues around, definitely more in line with the market.

05/06/2024: I stopped at this restaurant adjacent to the Baldo Ovest service area, usually the stop is for a coffee. It was a surprise, excellent and refined dishes, ok service, the area next to the pool is top. Highly recommended

14/07/2024: Un écrin de paradis dans la campagne italienne. Nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce bar situé sur une charmante petite place pour y boire un verre et y manger un morceau. Les prix très dérisoires, la qualité des produits et du cadre nous ont fait oublier le service quasiment inexistant. Une adresse à ne pas manquer si vous passez dans les environs.

22/06/2024: Wonderful place, shame about the service, the waiter is rude and confusing. Sometimes so little is enough: a bit of education and empathy. The writing that praises peace where there is a lack of respect for others is really out of place. There's no excuse for gratuitous bravado, ever, especially when you're paying for a service.
