02/01/2026: We stayed at Hotel Pineta on New Year's Eve. We had a wonderful time. The rooms are welcoming. The room was spacious. We really appreciated the bathroom, which is entirely covered in pink stone. The shower comfortably fits two people. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide selection of both sweet and savory options, but the quality of the products could be improved.

02/01/2026: Spacious and modern rooms; we had a few initial hiccups, but they were quickly resolved. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms are beautiful, with some unique features. The food was good. I would return.

10/02/2026: On Saturday, February 7, we organized our son's birthday party, agreeing on the menu with the owner. All our guests appreciated the quality and quantity 🤗 of the food and the service 😃 Congratulations!

31/03/2026: One of my favorite places to eat Chinese food in and around Villafranca. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, the place is clean, and the menu offers a wide selection of Chinese cuisine and sushi. The quality is good and the price is excellent. Highly recommended!

13/04/2026: Very cosy and romantic restaurant. Ideal for couples. We aimed at fish dishes and they were fantastic (cappellacci and tuna). Absence in the list of a crudite is a major flaw...I must say, considering the high standard of the place...dessert choice is rather limited or...limited to a 1 (one!) Tray of 5 different mini desserts. However, in my opinion, a choice of 2 3 main desserts a la carte should be warranted in such a restaurant. In fact, it is on the pricey side, some 100+ pp, which is acceptable for the high quality of the food but the two black holes above (crudite and desserts selection) should and can be avoided in such a place.

07/05/2026: Found it by chance for lunch while traveling with family. They offer a set lunch menu with a wide selection of first and second courses. The staff is very friendly and everything is delicious. Highly recommended.

05/06/2026: Good location (not far from amenities, across from a shopping center). Clean and tidy room. Dated furnishings, a bit shabby in some cases. Staff were sparse, but very friendly and efficient. In my opinion, excellent for business trips and business travelers.

24/05/2026: The pizza was bready and hard. The cook swept the floor in front of our table. The waiters were absent and uninterested in the customer.

12/04/2026: Pleasant visit but with some imperfections in the service. Small errors perhaps due to tensions for the new season. Everyone wants to be impeccable, but then you make small mistakes that are remedied with elegance. Having said that, let's move on to the menu. A pleasant dinner. I tasted the Sigillo menu momentarily until I got to the first courses, which didn't thrill me. Obviously, I didn't miss the opportunity to point it out to the chef because I believe that as a restaurant it's really worth it. So, he asked me everything carefully himself and I gave my personal opinion, made with great respect and accepted with the same respect. So, chapó. The wines recommended by the sommelier are also excellent. I would dare to go for the first courses. The suckling pig, even there, a little more flavor would have been dreamy, but the cooking and combinations were interesting. So, what can I say? Absolutely worth a try if you're in the area.

05/04/2026: We visited La Veranda del Color (1* Michelin) and chose the 8-course tasting menu at €125 per person. After 4 courses – beautifully presented with great plating, but tasting quite similar, neutral, and without any “wow” factor – we asked for the bill. The price was reduced from €250 to €190, even though we didn’t get halfway through and some dishes went back almost untouched. With wine and water, the total was €292. Beautiful venue, great service, and decent bread with olive oil – but in terms of flavor, a disappointment.

08/06/2026: Cafe Italia is always a must for us in Bardolino. They have a great selection of spritzers and the view of the lake is beautiful. The food was delicious.
