We chose this restaurant at random and were very pleasantly surprised. The drinks (Aperol Spritz and Hugo) were delicious and plentiful. They were served with tasty little savory pastries. The food (pasta dish and salad) was also very tasty. The only reason the place deserves one less star is that the waiters weren't particularly friendly. The prices are in the mid-to-upper range. Despite this, we left a generous tip, for which we unfortunately didn't even receive a "thank you".

The outdoor seating area of Café Italia on the lakeside promenade is very cozy and offers a fantastic view of Lake Garda. The menu offers a good selection of food and drinks. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The prices are reasonable and the café is wheelchair accessible. Highly recommended.

Café Italia has a truly beautiful view of the lake, definitely the place's highlight. I ordered the full breakfast menu: everything was generally good and well-presented, until the fruit salad arrived, which unfortunately was a bit moldy, a detail that ruined the experience.
Another unusual thing: they don't bring sugar to the table, and when I asked the waitress about it, she said it was normal for her—it had never happened to me.
Otherwise, the price was reasonable, the food was decent, and the waiters were kind and quick to take orders. Overall, an okay experience, but with a few areas for improvement.

Let's put it this way... after the guests at the next table got up again, the server finally came to our table (after a 15-minute wait).
We ordered two Aperol Spritzes.
They're huge here—but there's so much ice that it basically comes down to a normal-sized portion.
You also get a very large selection of small items, which are included in the price.
The Spritz is relatively expensive, but you get a beautiful view and a front-row seat overlooking the harbor.

Café Italia in Bardolino has a truly fantastic location and a lovely atmosphere. The drinks were excellent, the food was delicious, and overall, it's a great place to spend a pleasant evening.
However, what's absolutely incomprehensible is that there's only one mixed-gender restroom for an estimated 200 guests. On a nice day, you can easily wait 15 to 20 minutes for it. For a venue of this size, that's completely unacceptable and unfortunately detracts significantly from the overall experience.
Beautiful spot on the lakeside. Excellent lunch and especially the friendly staff. The appetizers were very good, as were the first and second courses. Highly recommended!
