11/08/2024: Tonight we had dinner at Aurora restaurant in Peschiera. This hotel restaurant is located outside the center but nicely along the Mincio. Delicious pasta and super tasty pizza. Incredibly large pizza that goes way over the edge of your plate! We didn't have a reservation and "had" to sit inside. That's fine, but not attractive, so reservations on the terrace outside are recommended. This restaurant is definitely worth it.

04/08/2024: Good pizza, nothing to say, the unacceptable thing is the cover charge, €2.80 for the pizza is excessive, among other things without bread or breadsticks....

26/08/2024: Good place to stop for a pizza downhill from Bosco Chiesanuova, a little crowded, not exceptional pizza with hard dough. Prices normal.

06/08/2024: Quality of the meal correct. Error when ordering, wrong pasta dish received. Outdoor terrace in a narrow alley next to the Arenes, this alley being poorly ventilated it is very hot, and the air conditioning was not on inside the restaurant at 7:30 p.m.! It's not very serious when it's 35 degrees outside. A little disappointed because the ratings seemed pretty good for this restaurant.

05/08/2024: For context of this review, we are people who greatly value the dining experience and really enjoy the processes behind them. We pay attention to detail, we consider different aspects of the experiences and try to be as objective as possible when giving feedback. The place is lovely and has a good location and setting. The service was quick (but we arrived towards the end of the night, so there werent many people out anyway). The waitors got an order wrong and hesitated on accepting their mistake and were a bit annoyed when asked (2) questions about the menu, and also a bit aggressive in their replies (recommending intensely the most expensive dish without giving a reason). The portions were tiny and, considering the taste was from OK to good, we considered them to be overpriced. We ordered the gnocchi with cheese and truffle (small portion; the gnocchi were great in texture and flavor but with only 3 thick and old tasting truffle slices for 14€) and the filetto all’ Amarone (very small; about the size of the palm of a hand and costs 26€ without any side). We wanted to order some bread to accompany the food (so it would be more filling) but no one replied to our gesture of attention. The experience was not bad, just average, but we were expecting better from other reviews and the pricing.

30/08/2024: I only rate the hamburger and fries among the dishes. Compared to hamburger joints in Hungary / Budapest, it is a huge disappointment. (Average there: 10/7, this place would get: 10/2 for these dishes). It only got 2 points because of the portion size. It is tasteless, dry, and does not come with homemade sauce. Sorry, but it tastes like a tragedy. Unfortunately, the fries too. Answer to the owner: 1. I put the bike NEXT to the outside bench so that they could sit on it comfortably: i.e. I didn't put it in front of it, so that it wouldn't disturb anyone. 2. On the menu, under the ingredients of the hamburgers, the term sauce is mentioned. Which, according to my understanding, is not the same as ketchup, mayonnaise, etc. which are finished products. I would recommend developing/using a homemade sauce, which makes any hamburger much tastier. :) 3. Inside, I took a seat at the table where I was sitting, because there were a total of 2 other people inside besides me. I think the number of seats inside exceeded 10. Obviously, I would have moved to another table if necessary, so I could see the bike.

25/08/2024: Super tasty. The Piadines are recommended. Very rich and you can taste that everything is freshly prepared. Very friendly owners. We would be happy to come back 😊

02/08/2024: Disappointed ! We come to this restaurant when we are in the area. The portions have so far been satisfactory and the little limoncello always offered at the end of the meal. That wasn't the case this time...

03/08/2024: We received a recommendation for the restaurant from the tour guide. Really good restaurant! We had steaks and they were just great. The waiter was really generous and the atmosphere magical. warmly recommended

04/08/2024: One of the best pizzas in Malcesine is served here. Super tasty thin base, the edge is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Have never been disappointed. Unfortunately, the pasta dishes are not always great, so the quality varies... Could be improved. A nogo is the Parmesan from the bag. But you can look past that. Service is very friendly and attentive. Gladly again!

14/07/2024: Sono cliente da 44 anni e già tanti l'anno recensita .... però il cibo che preparano la merita, mai una caduta di stile o di qualità, sembra persino impossibile eppure l'osso buco di oggi (lo so d'estate pare strano mangiarlo) è della stessa qualità da oltre quarant'anni. Materia prima scelta senza badare al costo ( un es.? L'olio ex vergine) la cottura sempre puntuale, Ricette collaudate recitate a memoria, gentilezza bel servizio e d'estate un fresco dehors...i prezzi? convenienti senza spocchia e specchietti per turisti. Il vino pur sfuso di ottima bottiglia, che altro? Prenotate, perché rischiate il tutto esaurito.

09/07/2024: Siamo andati in questo ristorante su consiglio di conoscenti , ci siamo trovati veramente bene i proprietari sono gentilissimi, la sala silenziosa, piatti abbondanti e veramente buoni i dolci stratosferici, complimenti ci ritorneremo sicuramente... stiamo già facendo pubblicità con amici e parenti

07/07/2024: Trovato per caso (eravamo in bici), fuori dal centro di Valeggio sul Mincio, un posto dove veramente si mangia come a casa, personale gentilissimo e paziente, piatti dell tradizione e prezzo super giusto! Consigliatissimo e non vedo l'ora di ritornare!

17/07/2024: A true gem. A wonderful small wine bar just a few yards from the arena in Verona. Superb selection of wines at really cheap prices. Great atmosphere, especially just before the opera. As a bonus they brew their own craft beer. And the snacks are to die for. Special shout out the the very friendly and knowledgeable staff who took care of us on our three visits. Would love to go back.

17/07/2024: Lovely bar with a great atmosphere, great drinks and good prices. Has a few seats & gets very busy so go early. Staff are friendly
