22/04/2026: Beautiful location, excellent waiters and bartenders, very kind and super professional.
Unfortunately, the food wasn't good at all, very little choice on the menu. Too long, really too long a wait.
The hostess was missing; if they continue like this, it won't stay open for long.
Total disappointment. High prices for so little food. Total indifference from some of the owners.
It's a shame, it was a wonderful place.

22/04/2026: We were in Malcesine again and ate at the Hotel Alpino (opposite the parking lot entrance in the center) again. I had the seafood, and my wife had a rather large sea bream, which also included a salad and fries. Everything was well prepared and, at €42, a good value. No cover charge.
18/04/2026: The hotel itself is average. The rooms are clean but basic and a little cramped, the shower is also very cramped. The location is great, next to the waterside and almost in the center of town. Service was friendly and helpful. While it did have parking, it was a seven minute walk away and in a rather cramped alley, so if you have a really wide car you wont fit, but it did it's job and definitely isn't a detriment. Hotel breakfast was also decent. Overall an average experience, though I can commend the employees for being friendly.

The music is great, especially when it's chosen by the customers.
The bartenders are excellent and beautiful... except for David.

A place that identifies with the history of Valpolicella, which is taken care of by the fourth generation of descendants and whose history is fascinating.
The helpful and well-qualified staff offers impeccable services.
Last but not least, the wine is of a chosen quality.
I recommend it with confidence.
30/03/2026: We went on Sunday for a tasting at the relais. The wine was delicious, the platters were excellent, and the location with a wonderful view was a perfect backdrop.
Bonus points for the sommelier, Francesco, a passionate, kind, and approachable man who guided us through the history of the local wines.
It was a wonderful experience, highly recommended!

03/05/2026: The kindness and willingness to welcome us even went so far as to reserve a table for two, which quickly became a table for four, even making room for the children. The service was excellent, and the attention to detail was impeccable, without making us feel like just another tourist. The mixed grilled fish was excellent, as was the mixed fried fish. The bill was honest and served with a smile. Recommended.
03/04/2026: Well, we've known La Forgia for at least 20 years and have always enjoyed eating there!
Today I wasn't happy. The luccio in salsa was dry, bland, uninspired, and unworthy! The seafood risotto was al dente, but without the fish! The trotta was excellent! The house wine was overpriced at €10 for 0.5 liters. What a shame... Perhaps it was just a fluke? What's annoying is that the crisps are cleared away almost as soon as the main course is finished... they would go well with the leftover wine...

Very good service, tasty and plentiful food. I had excellent paccheri alla catamaran, and my partner had a very good pizza. Reasonable prices.
Very clean bathrooms, a sign of excellent and well-organized management. We'll be back.

25/03/2026: I ate at this restaurant for several days, both for lunch and dinner, with my colleagues because we were working in the municipality of Trissino. The restaurant is family-run and clean, the staff and owner were extremely polite and helpful, and the food was home-style but incredibly tasty. The pizza, ordered on Saturday night, while good in itself, wasn't exceptional, so I personally recommend the local dishes. If I were to ever be in the area again, I'd definitely pop in, even just for the coffee, which was very good. Recommended!

06/04/2026: We had a very pleasant visit. The food was delicious and we were very impressed. The beautiful view was a particular highlight and made our stay even more enjoyable.
We also felt the price was reasonable. Overall, we felt very comfortable and would gladly visit the restaurant again.

07/04/2026: A beautiful little place in the historic center, with excellent quality products for both a snack and a drink. The only major drawback is the price. It's truly absurd to order platters of cold cuts, which for that price means you're getting a kilo of product instead of three slices. The drinks are ridiculously expensive, so avoid them because they're decently made. The only exception is the spritz, which is good. Bottles of wine and beer are unfortunately priced at about average prices, still high, but average.
It's definitely worth a visit for the live music evenings and the friendly owners.
02/04/2026: A really cool bar, and probably the only one in Garda if you're looking for music and a special atmosphere. You can even request songs. The setting is particularly noteworthy. Sometimes you have to wait for a table.
