14/02/2026: I only stayed one night, but everything was very positive, especially for my dog, who is a bit wary of people, but as soon as she entered the building, she immediately started wagging her tail and greeting a guy who works there. The welcome was super great. I slept great, and my dog ​​slept peacefully too. This morning (today) I brought her with me to breakfast, and since it was just me and the lady who runs the inn, she told me I could leave her alone, so she snooped around a bit and immediately made friends with the owner. It was all really welcoming and peaceful, an ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle, just what I needed. I'm truly satisfied with this mini stay, but I felt truly at home and respected. I will definitely return this spring or summer because it truly is a magical and peaceful place. Abundant breakfast and very fair prices. Thank you so much, truly ❤️

28/09/2025: A fairytale wedding at this estate, nestled in the greenery and overlooking the lake. Even though it was drizzling yesterday, the photos captured the beauty of the view perfectly. The dishes were excellent, my favorites being the appetizers. The cold cuts, polenta, and salami were delicious. Many thanks to the owner for her kindness.

18/01/2026: You walk into the Civico2 pizzeria, on the ground floor of a residential building in the province of Verona, read the menu, and you feel like you've landed in downtown Milan: pizzas cost €14-15, bottled beers cost €7.50, ingredients described in elaborate capital letters to convey exclusivity (Prosciutto di Coscia—what else is it supposed to be?), a €2.50 cover charge with a breakfast placemat, breadsticks, and a paper napkin (tablecloths are out of fashion). The paintings on the walls speak of "water and flour, the ingredients of pasta and pizza, the foundation of our culture," but here nothing of our culture remains: a worker has to work two hours to pay a fortune for a perfectly ordinary pizza in this place, here the food is transformed into a narrative to make the cash register ring—losing sight of quality. The taste of this product of water, flour, and various ingredients seemed tempting from the photos I saw online, but it turned out to be disappointing: the crust of my pizza was inexplicably non-classic (nowhere near as such on the menu), with this strange structure that left the dough still raw inside. Digestion wasn't optimal, and I was extremely thirsty when I woke up. My friends called it "rubbish," but I'll just say that, considering the price, it was a huge disappointment.

25/11/2025: I think it's one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted... Very friendly staff, clean bathrooms, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. I'll gladly return.

28/07/2025: Un’ottima scoperta a Fumane Ci è stata consigliata questa osteria e possiamo dire di esserne rimasti piacevolmente colpiti. L’accoglienza è stata calorosa, il servizio cordiale e al tempo stesso estremamente professionale. La cucina si è rivelata eccellente, con piatti ben curati e ricchi di sapore. Ottimi anche i vini, scelti e consigliati con competenza. Senza dubbio un posto in cui torneremo volentieri alla nostra prossima visita a Fumane.

20/07/2025: First off the host off this establishment alone is a great reason to go and eat here. All the staff was extremely friendly and humorous. The location is great being right in the middle of the beautiful town of Fumane between the local vineyards. The Osteria is a rather old building packed with Italian flare, even featuring a pet parrot. The food was delicious, I got the tortelloni with burrata and butter sauce and let me tell you the texture and taste of this dish was sublime, with the bread crumbs being the cherry on top. I then got braised Ox cheek, which probably was one of the most tender meats I ate in my life. The atmosphere was great with locals coming to eat here and all in all just having a good time. I certainly want to return to eat here and recommend this Osteria to people looking to taste delicious seasonal Italian cuisine in the heart of Valpolicella.

10/11/2025: After a sadly challenging period, I decided to take my wife out for dinner, also for a carefree evening. The restaurant I chose at random was perfect not only for the quality of the food and the cleanliness and beauty of the place, but also for the kindness of the waitress, as well as the exquisite and empathetic service of the owner, who checked on the customers' satisfaction, exchanging a few words during the waiting times. All of this contributed to making this convivial moment for my wife and I peaceful and pleasant, just as I had hoped. I recommend this restaurant to everyone 😉👍

10/11/2025: Having returned after many years, I stand by my review below and post a photo of the menu I found at the end of October 2025. I had dinner with my family, the food was excellent, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They serve a welcome appetizer of polenta and a delicious cheese fondue. We accompanied it with a selection of cold cuts and cheeses as an appetizer. My eldest son and I had venison fettuccine and mountain gnocchi, and my wife had whole-wheat pasta with porcini mushrooms and chestnuts. We were full, so we ordered two desserts. Everything was truly delicious... For four of us, without wine, we had two appetizers, four first courses, and two desserts plus water, totaling €54. Very reasonable! We'll be back often. We haven't been for a few years because they're often full. It's best to book in the evening.

05/02/2026: Returned after one year… pizza is still very good! But the place changed… empty, and if paying in cash you need to fight for change… and then you receive it in small coins of 10 and 20 cents. And they were not giving me the fiscal receipt, even after asking, so I took the tip and all these coins with me.

18/01/2026: A truly lovely place, with a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was very kind and helpful, which always makes a difference. The food is good and traditional, although the cuisine is rather rich and generous with seasonings: a bit too much for our tastes, given that we're used to lighter fare, with little butter and less pronounced flavors. That said, if you like more flavorful cuisine, this is definitely the perfect place. Overall, a positive experience, recommended based on personal tastes. Truly a beautiful location.

11/02/2026: Awesome place in the heart of the tourist district of Verona but not too "touristy". Cool atmosphere with the restaurant divide up into a few, separate dining areas, one of which is downstairs and accessible via a small tunnel. The staff was wonderful - friendly and patient - with plenty of menu recommendations that didn't disappoint. Definitely get the salsiccia in crosta. Great combination of flavors and textures.

31/01/2026: Today we had lunch at a restaurant with my 3-year-old daughter and my husband, and unfortunately our experience was anything but positive. We ordered a small chicken cutlet for the daughter, which cost €18.90, potatoes au gratin, which was the only thing I ate with vegetables, and a mixed grill of fish for us, for €45. Unfortunately, the shrimp we tried had an unpleasant odor of alcohol, which made us suspect a possible freshness issue. My husband ate most of the fish, and I'm really worried about him; I hope he's not sick. Fortunately, I decided to taste the fish before giving it to my daughter. The waitress apologized for what happened, but our disappointment was obvious. However, they offered us a €5 discount on the bill, which honestly isn't enough to make up for such a disappointing experience. Lunch €93.10 In short, it was a day to forget, and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality meal or a safe environment for children. 🤢🤢🤢

08/12/2025: Excellent pizza. Nothing to complain about. It makes you feel like you're in Naples! The only downside, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars, is that if you're near the bathrooms, you can hear the constant, annoying noise of the hand dryer. The couple next to our table also noted this.

03/12/2025: Located behind the Arena, it offers a variety of pizzas. But what makes it special is that the pizza is good, according to Neapolitan tradition, and the service is fast. They also offer other dishes besides pizza. The staff is friendly and attentive. Be aware that they don't take reservations on Saturday nights. Recommended and worth a try.
