22/04/2026: Beautiful location, excellent waiters and bartenders, very kind and super professional. Unfortunately, the food wasn't good at all, very little choice on the menu. Too long, really too long a wait. The hostess was missing; if they continue like this, it won't stay open for long. Total disappointment. High prices for so little food. Total indifference from some of the owners. It's a shame, it was a wonderful place.

10/04/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the Bellavista. The location is fantastic for anyone who appreciates nature and tranquility. The sunset was breathtaking. However, you shouldn't be afraid of curves when driving, as the road to the hotel is quite steep in places. Dinner was good, and breakfast was excellent. The homemade bread was especially delicious. The room was modernly furnished with dark colors. The beds were very good by Italian standards—finally, duvets that allowed for a good night's sleep! We couldn't find any fault with the cleanliness. The staff deserves special mention! Everyone was incredibly courteous, friendly, and helpful. Reception and service were top-notch both in the evening and in the morning. Keep up the great work!

27/04/2026: Absurd. I came in for a piadina and asked if they had any gluten-free ones. They said no, so I made it clear that a regular one was fine. Despite this, they refused to serve it to me, saying they didn't want to risk it, only offering me chips and a drink. Are you kidding me? If I take responsibility, who are you to decide for me? There's no such thing. Terrible experience, never again.

23/04/2026: The Piadineria's products are always excellent; the real problem is often the interminable waits, sometimes twenty-five or thirty minutes, often due to the fact that the staff tends to be very limited. If I'm in the slightest hurry to eat, I tend to avoid this place because I risk being stuck there for too long.

15/03/2026: A small but authentic place. There's no real menu; you eat what the chef suggests: various appetizers, a trio of first courses, second courses, and, to finish, a spectacular tiramisu. All in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Definitely a place like few others these days. Highly recommended for those who appreciate authentic places and people.

22/04/2026: We were in Malcesine again and ate at the Hotel Alpino (opposite the parking lot entrance in the center) again. I had the seafood, and my wife had a rather large sea bream, which also included a salad and fries. Everything was well prepared and, at €42, a good value. No cover charge.

18/04/2026: The hotel itself is average. The rooms are clean but basic and a little cramped, the shower is also very cramped. The location is great, next to the waterside and almost in the center of town. Service was friendly and helpful. While it did have parking, it was a seven minute walk away and in a rather cramped alley, so if you have a really wide car you wont fit, but it did it's job and definitely isn't a detriment. Hotel breakfast was also decent. Overall an average experience, though I can commend the employees for being friendly.

20/11/2025: I was passing through Verona and was looking for a place to have a quiet lunch, perhaps something traditional. My Google Maps search found Osteria Dogana Vecia, which immediately inspired me, so I decided to give it a try. I showed up without a reservation and, fortunately, found a table. The menu doesn't offer a wide variety of dishes, but the selection is "traditional." I decide to order the ricotta gnocchi with truffle cream, which turns out to be soft, tasty, and satisfying. I'm hungry, and since it looks like a long day, I also dive into the second course of the chicken alla scaligera. Another pleasant surprise that I'm positively impressed with, even though I'm not a fan of raisins. I skipped dessert because there's a limit to everything, but even then, the offer was tempting. I get up, pay €36, and leave, complimenting myself on the excellent lunch. I'm more than satisfied with the meal and the experience at the restaurant. Highly recommended. Thank you very much!

05/05/2026: We happened to be passing by Valeggio and saw the sign, and after reading a few reviews, we decided to try the homemade cuisine described. The bigoli with duck ragù and nettle ravioli were excellent. The grilled and sliced ​​meats were incredibly tender, and the kids polished them off. The staff were friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

02/02/2026: A great place to enjoy a refreshing drink year-round and play darts. The music is great, especially when it's chosen by the customers. The bartenders are excellent and beautiful... except for David. We'll see you again!!!

04/05/2026: The location is perfect, central enough to quickly reach the center on foot but away from the chaos, allowing you to enjoy the tranquility and lakeside walks. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the terrace offers a beautiful view, as well as unexpected privacy! Friendly and helpful staff!

03/05/2026: The kindness and willingness to welcome us even went so far as to reserve a table for two, which quickly became a table for four, even making room for the children. The service was excellent, and the attention to detail was impeccable, without making us feel like just another tourist. The mixed grilled fish was excellent, as was the mixed fried fish. The bill was honest and served with a smile. Recommended.

03/04/2026: Well, we've known La Forgia for at least 20 years and have always enjoyed eating there! Today I wasn't happy. The luccio in salsa was dry, bland, uninspired, and unworthy! The seafood risotto was al dente, but without the fish! The trotta was excellent! The house wine was overpriced at €10 for 0.5 liters. What a shame... Perhaps it was just a fluke? What's annoying is that the crisps are cleared away almost as soon as the main course is finished... they would go well with the leftover wine...

19/01/2026: A truly excellent cappuccino. The woman at the counter was kind, helpful, and very cheerful. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a stop.
