27/08/2025: My fiancé and I celebrated our anniversary by enjoying the Finest Dinner, an experience I recommend to everyone. The atmosphere was WOW, I think it was the most romantic dinner I've ever had, with the option of playing any song from Spotify as background music during dinner. Inside the dome, there was oil, breadsticks, and focaccia available, and I had the appetizer menu swapped for a first course, the same for both of us. The wine was excellent and the dishes were truly delicious. If I really had to nitpick, I'd say that perhaps the desserts (although very good) were a bit too many, and that the pasta (we chose bigoli cacio e pepe) was perhaps too thick (personal taste). Despite this, we had a great time; the chef was at our complete disposal, and I really appreciated the fact that the courses didn't arrive one after the other, but rather spaced out a bit, presumably to allow us to have our own private moment. We'll definitely be back.

10/10/2025: One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten! We stumbled upon it almost by chance, with limited time to attend a concert at the Arena. It was a flawless evening: a lovely place, fast and friendly service, and simply excellent pizzas! It's impossible to ask for more! Well done, we'll be back just for the pleasure of trying another delicious pizza!

09/10/2025: In addition to the rather irritated and inattentive staff, we were unfortunately not impressed by the pizza, which my companion and I had a substantial pool of oil on it. The nonchalant way they slammed the drinks in cans onto the table also doesn't help the service. There are gluten-free options, which is a positive, but there are probably better places in Verona to enjoy gluten-free pizza. Still, the incomparable ambiance, of course, when Zucchero starts playing in the arena during the meal—that saved it. All in all, it's fine, but for us, there's no reason to come back.

10/10/2025: The waiters are very kind, but the prices are outrageous. Four euros for a canapé and three euros for the cover charge. But the most absurd thing is that they charged me for the canapé with cured ham and the one with soppressa... In short, 25 euros for three canapés, water, coffee, and a glass of wine.

08/10/2025: I come here often, and it's always a testament to the quality and deliciousness. A very nice location in the heart of Verona, even the outdoor tables are well-kept. Excellent and extensive wine selection. The canapés and food are delicious. Highly recommended.

Excellent choice considering the place was practically full due to the almost total presence of truck drivers, lovers of generous portions and intense flavors. Vania was very kind! Fair price. 11/09/2025: Excellent restaurant for truckers, offering the highest quality. It offers both fixed-price and à la carte menus. We chose à la carte and ordered a tagliata with parmesan and balsamic vinegar and a rib-eye steak. The meat was well-prepared and very flavorful. The front yard is well-lit and offers plenty of parking. I recommend it to camper friends!

17/08/2025: Stop here, and you'll be back. A meticulously maintained and charming location, with a beautiful terrace overlooking the view. The food and wine are top-notch, and the staff are fantastic. Try the tortellini, which are obviously the highlight. The grilled meat is also delicious.

20/05/2025: Consigliato dalla gentilissima Eleonora del bellissimo B&B Sul Garda (Castelnuovo del Garda) ci siamo recati a cena con i bambini- location incantevole , locale decorazioni/piatti antichi in ogni dove, con la bouganville che seguiva il soffitto, pieno di lucine messe ad arte, abbiamo gustato ottimo crudo stagionato e persico su quadrati di polenta come antipasti e poi i loro famosi tortelli di carciofi e altri con asparagi, un secondo gustoso e torta delle rose con cremina per finire!!! consigliatissimo

27/09/2025: Perfect location on the lake, with a view of the lake inside and a very elegant yet cozy atmosphere. The food and limoncello are absolutely delicious! Shrimp pasta costs €15.50, pizza €8-15. You can even watch the pizza being prepared live. Upon request, they also offered "make-your-own" coffee, with water and milk separately. Definitely a top recommendation!

25/07/2025: We went for lunch; the very kind staff helped us choose. We ordered two first courses: mountain gnocchi and tagliolini with duck ragù, followed by wild boar stew. Everything was truly excellent. The pasta was perfectly cooked and with a delicious ragù, the gnocchi with smoked ricotta were delicious. The meat was tender and flavorful with grilled polenta. All this was accompanied by a delicious house red wine. For dessert, a pistachio parfait. The staff was very quick and helpful, and the price was good. They even let us bring a small dog (French bulldog) if you bring your four-legged friend. We discovered this place by accident, but we'll definitely be back!

28/07/2025: Un’ottima scoperta a Fumane Ci è stata consigliata questa osteria e possiamo dire di esserne rimasti piacevolmente colpiti. L’accoglienza è stata calorosa, il servizio cordiale e al tempo stesso estremamente professionale. La cucina si è rivelata eccellente, con piatti ben curati e ricchi di sapore. Ottimi anche i vini, scelti e consigliati con competenza. Senza dubbio un posto in cui torneremo volentieri alla nostra prossima visita a Fumane.

20/07/2025: First off the host off this establishment alone is a great reason to go and eat here. All the staff was extremely friendly and humorous. The location is great being right in the middle of the beautiful town of Fumane between the local vineyards. The Osteria is a rather old building packed with Italian flare, even featuring a pet parrot. The food was delicious, I got the tortelloni with burrata and butter sauce and let me tell you the texture and taste of this dish was sublime, with the bread crumbs being the cherry on top. I then got braised Ox cheek, which probably was one of the most tender meats I ate in my life. The atmosphere was great with locals coming to eat here and all in all just having a good time. I certainly want to return to eat here and recommend this Osteria to people looking to taste delicious seasonal Italian cuisine in the heart of Valpolicella.

06/08/2025: A delicious meal at a good price. The service was exceptionally friendly and English-speaking. We felt very comfortable and returned home full and happy. The air conditioning was available, but the main room was extremely cold. The conservatory was pleasant, although quite noisy due to the fans. Therefore, one star deducted for the ambience.

02/10/2025: On the outside wall, a plaque identifies the current restaurant as the birthplace of Antonio Ascari, an Alfa Romeo driver from the 1920s and father of the more famous Alberto Ascari, a Ferrari driver and world champion from the 1950s. It should be a typical restaurant, but in reality, except for a few dishes, it offers a rather banal menu. The tagliatelle with duck ragù is good, but the bigoli with sardines is less so. The fried "pessin e saltai" (fish and chips) is awful; the pizza is adequate. Prices are reasonable. On average, it would be two and a half stars... I was being generous.

09/09/2025: Trattoria San Basilio alla Pergola is the place where you understand: happiness exists and it smells like ruddy lamb ribs. So tender that it seems they jumped from the plate straight into the heart. The waitress providing us with service is personal and absolutely excellent and a delightful bonus: she doesn’t just serve, but as if she meets an old friend, only without awkward questions like “why haven’t you been here for so long?” The waitress is so warm-hearted that there is a risk of confusing her with relatives who have finally decided to feed you properly. The atmosphere is simple, lively, without ostentatious glamour, but with that very comfort for which you go to Italy. If you are looking for gastronomic therapy for sadness and fatigue, here it is, personally tested.
