16/09/2025: Great pizza with a large salad for €10. A liter of rosé wine and a bottle of water cost €58. We ate there twice in a row, totaling €116. Unfortunately, the salad on the second day was only half the size for the same price. We complained to the waiter in English. When he told management, he came back and said everything was freshly prepared. We couldn't make much sense of that answer. From then on, we were practically ignored as customers. When we paid, they asked if everything was alright, but that was it; they didn't address our concerns. A certain arrogance. There are certainly other good restaurants in town. This was our last time there.

18/02/2026: Top location, a huge villa with a huge garden where you can take a lovely stroll and in the summer, dine outside, enjoy aperitifs, etc. Top dishes. Highly recommended.

15/02/2026: Super helpful staff, unique variety of food (both meat and fish, and even pizza) at fair prices and generous portions. They have a play area for children both inside and outside. What can I say: the perfect place for a family meal.

18/03/2026: Last year, I decided to try this historic restaurant and try the boiled meats with pearà. As a true Veronese, I have to say the boiled meats weren't great, but what left me perplexed was the pearà. Thick, flavorless, inedible. There were seven of us, and everyone agreed they were disappointed. We mentioned this to the owner, but he also gave us a rude response. Double disappointment.

14/10/2025: Since it opened, we've always had pizza at La Lanterna every Saturday night. Antonio, the owner, is a kindhearted guy. His passion has always been pizza. There are so many mediocre pizzas out there, and many even get used to them, even convincing themselves that this is how pizza is made. His pizza, however, is decidedly superior, inspired by the best. It's fragrant and fragrant, the dough is well-leavened, light and easy to digest, the crust is high, the air bubbles are excellent, and the ingredients are carefully selected and always top-quality. Besides the pizza, the other dishes are also absolutely worth trying. The ravioli with two cherry tomatoes, yellow and red, and the braised beef are especially sublime.

03/11/2025: Overall, I'm satisfied. I had dinner here with a first course, and both the first course and the bread they bring were very good. The only flaw was the gnocchi described as having shrimp tails and cherry tomatoes: there were only two shrimp, and the tomato flavor was overwhelming. The atmosphere is a bit chaotic, and I went on a day when it wasn't very busy. It's great for large groups, but I wouldn't recommend it for a date. The staff wasn't particularly friendly, but they were attentive to their customers.

28/07/2025: Un’ottima scoperta a Fumane Ci è stata consigliata questa osteria e possiamo dire di esserne rimasti piacevolmente colpiti. L’accoglienza è stata calorosa, il servizio cordiale e al tempo stesso estremamente professionale. La cucina si è rivelata eccellente, con piatti ben curati e ricchi di sapore. Ottimi anche i vini, scelti e consigliati con competenza. Senza dubbio un posto in cui torneremo volentieri alla nostra prossima visita a Fumane.

20/07/2025: First off the host off this establishment alone is a great reason to go and eat here. All the staff was extremely friendly and humorous. The location is great being right in the middle of the beautiful town of Fumane between the local vineyards. The Osteria is a rather old building packed with Italian flare, even featuring a pet parrot. The food was delicious, I got the tortelloni with burrata and butter sauce and let me tell you the texture and taste of this dish was sublime, with the bread crumbs being the cherry on top. I then got braised Ox cheek, which probably was one of the most tender meats I ate in my life. The atmosphere was great with locals coming to eat here and all in all just having a good time. I certainly want to return to eat here and recommend this Osteria to people looking to taste delicious seasonal Italian cuisine in the heart of Valpolicella.

08/12/2025: Excellent pizza. Nothing to complain about. It makes you feel like you're in Naples! The only downside, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars, is that if you're near the bathrooms, you can hear the constant, annoying noise of the hand dryer. The couple next to our table also noted this.

03/12/2025: Located behind the Arena, it offers a variety of pizzas. But what makes it special is that the pizza is good, according to Neapolitan tradition, and the service is fast. They also offer other dishes besides pizza. The staff is friendly and attentive. Be aware that they don't take reservations on Saturday nights. Recommended and worth a try.
