09/03/2025: Excellent restaurant with lake view... we stopped for lunch in this restaurant/pizzeria on the lakefront, I must say excellent! Fast, friendly service, honest price; the "bigoi" with sardines and fried calamari are excellent... booking is recommended! 😉

21/02/2025: I have known and frequented it for some time, essentially for business lunches. There is a fixed menu with always different proposals to choose from. Both in terms of quality and presentation, Al Maglio is always a guarantee. Smiling, courteous and professional staff.

17/04/2025: 7 out of 10 points - Had Pizza Buffala and Pizza with Frutti di Mare. The size and price were right. Taste could be better. Service was somehow strange, if not even annoyed, about my changed version of the Pizza Buffala (didn't want ham) - but I could also be wrong....

03/04/2025: You could say they were always trying hard. I got the capaccio almost frozen. The lasagna was cold and the pasta plates were cooked to death. So no enjoyment either.

27/03/2025: No comment. Seafood pizza, with charred mussels: the shell shattered just by touching them, and the pieces got lost in the pizza.. Without any taste and octopus(those few pieces) was rubbery

18/02/2025: Locale molto accogliente e ordinato . Servizio perfetto , con Chef Alberti che personalmente ( quando può) ti presenta le portate . Da non perdere il vitello tonnato , che è tonnato davvero , ma non ve lo descrivo. Andate ad assaggiarlo . Baccalà con polenta reinventato semplicemente sontuoso . Bella la scelta di non avere la carta dei vini , devi andare a vedere la bottiglia , sopra c’è il prezzo , e trovi quello che ti piace ( bottiglie sceltissine) con un ricarico onesto. Dessert di grande inventiva. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. A voi la scelta se goderne o meno !

28/12/2024: Undoubtedly very refined location. As for the starter, very good cold cuts and cheeses; the first courses were nothing exciting, including half sleeves that were a little overcooked and good but bland risotto. Moving on to the second courses, the boiled beef was too dry, Chateaubriand worthy of note. The custard combined with the pandoro is quite anonymous. The staff are not all adequately trained in service and in some situations not very prepared for questions from diners.

28/12/2024: Location indubbiamente molto raffinata. Per quando riguarda l'antipasto, affettati e formaggi molto buoni; i primi niente di entusiasmante tra cui mezze maniche 1 pò passate di cottura e il risotto buono ma insipido. Passando ai secondi il manzo del bollito troppo secco, Chateaubriand degno di nota. La crema pasticcera abbinata al pandoro abbastanza anonima. Il personale non tutto adeguatamente preparato al servizio e in alcuni frangenti poco avvezzo ad avere a che fare con le domande dei commensali.

14/01/2025: Great restaurant in a side street in the center. We ended up there spontaneously and were thrilled. Very nicely decorated. Sat outside at the back where there are only a few seats. Super friendly and cheerful service. The food and wine selection were very good. Gladly again when we are in Bardolino.

06/01/2025: We have eaten at Caprice several times. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The salad is highly recommended, as are the pasta and pizza dishes. Absolute recommendation!

10/04/2025: Amazing experience - attentive staff, great food and an amazing view. Do yourself a favour and order the seafood spaghetti for two.

05/04/2025: Authentic food with great service and a view! We could not ask for more when we went for a still along the lake and ended up at Umberto. Would recommend any day! Tip. Ask for the appetizer with local fish and let them explain the dishes.

30/03/2025: A place with a pleasant atmosphere, 90s. The service was efficient and polite, even if the staff maintained a certain detachment. As for the food, the rib was of good quality, cooked just right. The side dish of baked potatoes was a real surprise, really delicious, while the grilled vegetables were tasty. Unfortunately I didn't have the chance to try the first courses, which looked very inviting and were definitely worth a try. Overall, a positive experience with some small room for improvement. Prices slightly above average, but I understand given the location close to the arena.

09/01/2025: Siamo stati una sera di luglio durante un ns. week in questo ristorante, per caso visto che era vicino al ns. hotel ( altrim diff il park). Scelta azzeccata, la location esterna e' molto carina e romantica, giustamente piccolina cosi da non esserci caos; cibo buono e porzioni abbastanza giuste, personale molto gentile....che dire ci ritorneremo sicuramente se saremo di nuovo in zona. consiglio la prenotazione.

23/03/2025: This was the best restaurant we ate during our trip to Italy! I'm not talking about the most sophisticated or expensive or different place. It's a local Trattoria, with an awesome service and a very delicious food. We arrived late at night and even thinking they might not cooking anymore, they received us very well and we were treated like special guests. We ordered bruschettas and some pasta and they recommended a great wine, explaining the differences and talking about our dishes (my wife ordered a gnocchi al gorgonzola and I asked for the Bigoli con il musso, a very local dish). Everything was so perfect we decided not take a risk eating on other place and we returned for lunch on the other day! For lunch we started with a Polenta della casa and for main course we chose the Risotto all'Amarone, other local dish. Was amazing. For meat we tried the filetto all'Amarone and the cotoletta classica, both just perfect. Again, Mauro recommended a great wine to harmonize with the food (already done with Amarone wine). We regret not having enough time to try all the other dishes, but its a place we'll always remember the people and the great food they serve. Verona is a wonderful city and if possible I'll be back and will return to this Trattoria. Cheers!

21/03/2025: Extremely hard bread, carbonara was inedible, way too salty. Pasta con fagioli was okay. I wouldn't make it again.

07/04/2025: I have a second home on the lake and in winter I happen to come for a ride with friends, as a first choice there is always your pizza. Saturday I happened to come in a group and all 8 of us had a really great time. A plus point also because the filling is very abundant and the pizza itself is no less (it also comes out of the plate 😂🤩) I highly recommend it also for the location which is away from traffic and above all in a very quiet area. It is also relatively easy to find parking. Advice 5 / 5 ⭐️
