23/02/2026: Ordinary ingredients passed off as gourmet just to justify the insane pizza prices, which have actually gotten worse over time. Desserts are industrial-strength and very questionable at €7. Drinks are also expensive. The staff, however, is friendly and helpful, and the service is quick and attentive.

10/02/2026: I'll start with the negative (obviously, in my opinion), which isn't a bad thing in itself; it just needs to be addressed beforehand: there's no menu, and you'll never know how much you paid for what (the receipt will simply state "full menu"). The food features ingredients of varying quality, from excellent to good/fairly good. Some dishes were a real disappointment, but the meat (which I ate) was excellent, though the quantities were a bit limited. The owner is a witty person and demonstrates a great intellect (even in his jokes and his memory). Parking is a bit of a no-go, but with luck, you can find a spot nearby (very lucky if it's peak time). The acoustics were terrible; to talk to someone sitting further away, I had to shout or lean forward, as if we were at a rave. Overall, I don't think I'll go back on my own. But if you happen to be there, choose the meat and expect a surprise bill (not necessarily a bad one, I spent €31 (€62 between me and my girlfriend) for a second course and some wine).

18/01/2026: Despite the top-quality meat and the kindness and professionalism of the waitstaff, the experience is undermined by the owner’s arbitrary pricing policy: there are no menus, and prices are decided on the spot. Portions are small, and during “broccoletto di Custoza” season you are not even served the best parts. A missed opportunity.

19/01/2026: I dined at this restaurant the day before the seasonal closure in January. I'd been here before and had a wonderful meal. The location was beautiful and well-maintained, as always. We were always served promptly and accurately. A well-executed menu and quality ingredients. Unfortunately, this time I was disappointed by the decision to put an excessive amount of garlic on a meat that was truly delicious even without it.

16/02/2026: The lake view and good service are, in my opinion, the restaurant's strong points. The food is good and the prices are fair. That's fair enough.

18/10/2025: The food is spectacular, very good pizza and also the fish, and for the location the price is more than fair, I give 4 stars because the waiter seemed annoyed and a bit off on his own, we had to call him and he answered, the atmosphere is a bit cold, but the door is almost always open to serve those who dine out in mid-October, but I would very willingly return, perhaps in spring or summer.

28/12/2025: Hotel Accademia – Perfect Stay in the Heart of Verona 🏛️🛏️✨ We had a lovely stay at Hotel Accademia—a beautifully renovated and spotlessly clean hotel right in the center of Verona. The location is absolutely perfect, making it super easy to explore the city on foot. The staff were all kind and welcoming, especially the porters and the waiters in the breakfast room. Speaking of breakfast—it was generous and varied, with plenty of tasty options to choose from. We also appreciated the complimentary afternoon tea and coffee—a nice touch to rest and recharge. Parking is available upon request, which was very convenient for us. All in all, a fantastic experience. We’d definitely recommend staying here for anyone visiting Verona! 🧳☕🍰

28/09/2025: A fairytale wedding at this estate, nestled in the greenery and overlooking the lake. Even though it was drizzling yesterday, the photos captured the beauty of the view perfectly. The dishes were excellent, my favorites being the appetizers. The cold cuts, polenta, and salami were delicious. Many thanks to the owner for her kindness.

15/10/2025: I've known this place for quite some time now, and I happily go there as often as I can with my wife, family, and friends. I've never been disappointed! The atmosphere is very refined, and the welcome and courtesy are superb. The cuisine is distinctive, excellent, and well-prepared. What can I say? If you have the opportunity to visit, stop by—you certainly won't be disappointed.

30/11/2025: I was there a few years ago for a company dinner, and I was supposed to return, very willingly, this year, but unfortunately, I won't be able to! The food was excellent, and the service was even better, because I declined one course, and after the second or third course—I don't remember—they asked me why, and then they made me a special dish, and there were three hundred of us! Now that's excellent service!

24/11/2025: We had lunch on November 23rd with the Alpine group, 45 people, some with meat menus, others with fish menus. Upon arrival, they divided us into fish and meat tables, which was unthinkable. Then they served us in record time, almost quickly, without even having time to finish one course before the next arrived. The food was good, but the side dishes were not well-thought out, few and not paired with the dish itself. The staff was a bit serious if not annoyed. In short, the price was good, but I don't know if I would go back...
