11/11/2025: A meeting with colleagues at an excellent restaurant, with a high-quality menu and beautifully presented dishes. Friendly service in a setting with period furniture that enhances the ambiance. Delicious pumpkin tortelli.

10/11/2025: We went to Trattoria Dal Mantoan in Gazzo Veronese for dinner with friends, and it was truly a wonderful evening. We started with a delicious and generous appetizer: a basket of parmigiana with crumble and vegetable tempura: perfectly fried, dry, and flavorful. Next, the two-color cocoa tortelli with braised beef filling, simply amazing—you can tell they're homemade with care. Then came two rare ribs, tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. To finish on a sweet note, the Torta delle Rose, incredibly soft and delicious. We drank very well: two excellent bottles of Valpolicella Superiore and a passito wine paired with dessert. Impeccable service, friendly, courteous, and pleasant staff. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended! A trattoria where you can eat really well and feel equally at home.

Every glass we tried was full of character, depth, and beautifully crafted—from smooth, fruit-forward expressions to bold, structured reds with elegant tannins. It’s rare to find a lineup where every wine impresses, but this tasting delivered just that. The host was friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable, offering just the right amount of insight without overwhelming us. They shared stories about the vineyard, the winemaking process, and each varietal, which made the experience feel personal and meaningful. The setting was equally memorable—relaxed, scenic, and perfect for sipping slowly and soaking it all in. No distractions, just great company, stunning views, and world-class reds. If you’re a red wine lover, this place is a must. We left with a few bottles (and a strong desire to come back).

25/05/2025: We had dinner with the tasting menu and wine pairing. What can I say: a show, a wonderful dinner. From the raw materials, to the dishes, through the wine pairing to the service. In a relaxing and welcoming setting. Everything excellent and impeccable. One of the best cuisines in the province. An experience that I also recommend for the excellent quality-price ratio

17/10/2025: We only had takeout. The pizza was very tasty. The price was also absolutely reasonable. €8 for a Margherita, €14 for the most expensive pizza. We ordered from here twice and would do it again.

09/06/2025: ¡OMG! Mi esposa tenía el Bigolo Al Ragu (espagueti espeso con salsa de pato, pollo y conejo), una especialidad local que era solo una creación maravillosa. El Gnocchi Al Pomodoro y Straciatella se derritió en mi boca de una manera casi sensual. El pan casero también era sensacional. El propietario es un hombre encantador, y bastante un defensor de su pequeño ristorante estupendo. Es un “No te pierdas”.

19/11/2025: An evening spent with colleagues, a delicious dinner, friendly and dynamic staff, and live music by a fantastic band were the factors that contributed to making it a fantastic evening!

14/10/2025: We had lunch outside under the covered patio. The menu features traditional dishes executed to perfection. The pastisada de caval is truly excellent. If I really had to comment, the truffle wasn't very tasty, but it depends on the time of year and the weather. The desserts were delicious, and the lemon zest twist on the crème caramel was a special touch. 100%, Chef Cipriani!

11/10/2025: I went there a long time ago, but tonight I ate a super thin and raw pizza. The only positive thing was the excellent ingredients. I don't think I'll go back.

30/09/2025: I've been there several times and have had both pizza and various other dishes. Everything is very good, and the staff is very attentive and friendly. The prices are fair, making it worth a visit. Recommended.

27/10/2025: Nice restaurant that we found during a walk through the vineyards of Cavaion Veronese. Very tasty and reasonably priced lunch menu including drinks. Our second visit in the evening also had interesting dishes. The carciofi in a Parmesan basket was particularly delicious. Friendly and attentive service. Update: It's a shame that the opening hours and holiday periods aren't updated here. Both in January and again today at the end of October, we encountered closed doors... Chiuso per ferie... we grant everyone a holiday... but last week during a visit we asked if there were any holidays planned for the next few weeks... which was denied??? And today, after a walk of about 4 km, we found ourselves in front of a closed restaurant again 🤪 (this happened to us in February too). Please update the opening hours here soon. Thank you.

12/10/2025: Delicious meat, super friendly owner, nice place. Be careful, it's near the Martinelli supermarket... The location is that of the Ulivi residence, not the one 12 minutes further north set on Google Maps.

13/10/2025: I took advantage of the breakfast being sent to a nearby hotel that didn't have it, and I stopped by again for a coffee. The space was spacious and clean, the service was friendly, and the croissants were delicious. There's also outdoor seating available, and it's also convenient for smoking. The best spot in the area.

16/11/2025: I ordered some takeout pizzas and the prices on the online menu don't match. They're probably being clever because they think you don't know the prices and that once the customer leaves, they won't care about these things. Paying €2.50 more for three pizzas wasn't a problem because I didn't get poorer and they didn't get richer, but they certainly lost a customer and got themselves some bad publicity... the pizza was good in any case.

03/11/2025: A pleasant surprise in Verona!! The gourmet pizzas are exceptional, with ingredients that are different from the standard but well combined. The meat is cooked perfectly and delicious. The staff is friendly and the price is fair. I recommend it to everyone.

08/10/2025: The food was good, the friendliness was something else, and all after asking the waitress why they charged (in some places they charge 4, in others 3, and in very few places 2) for each diner's cutlery. The waitress explained that in Spain we had to tip, but they didn't accept it. Well, in Rome, we found a restaurant where they asked for a tip and then charged you for the cutlery! I'll see if I can give this place a review! The problem is that they charge the same amount for cutlery, no matter how much you consume. There were 4 of us. In 15 days, we would have bought a good set of cutlery! Thank goodness it was a village trattoria, in Vigasio! The Aperol wasn't as good as we expected either.

05/10/2025: Very cute little pizzeria with excellent real wood-fired pizza, super fresh and crispy. A dream :)
