Exceptional location, priceless view of the Mincio River. Excellent, professional, and friendly service.
Very good food, some combinations a little strange, but it's a matter of taste and demand (obviously).
Only flaws: some dishes on the menu were unavailable because they sold out that day.
Some customers started smoking at the tables during dinner, and no one did anything.
Also, but I don't think this is due to the restaurant's management, the very annoying presence of insects throughout the surrounding area.

I just ate the best tortellini of my life and I'm so happy. Visiting this restaurant was recommended by our Agricampeggio. If we come back, and we definitely will, we'll eat here again. Thank you to the staff.

A tourist trap!

The so-called "large" selection of tortellini was quite small for €24, but it tasted good.
The price of €3.50 per person per cover charge is also too high. The tiramisu was good.

We came in early in the evening, and stayed to the late hours. The owner was absolutely phenomenal! He was very kind, he spend quite some time explaining to us the different menu options, flavors, wines, deserts and so much more. The staff awesome was extremely friendly. The atmosphere was incredible, eating so close to the river, and eating such traditional and phenomenal food, 10/10, I am impressed beyond belief. I've visited a total of 20 different places inside Italy. But La Vecchia Bottega will for ever be in my heart!!!!!! We are coming back soon!

Dinner with friends with a menu pre-arranged by the organizer. The appetizer was unique, featuring polenta, soppressa, and tomino cheese. Tortellini di Valeggio, always a sure thing, and an excellent veal fillet. Quality ingredients, fantastic atmosphere... Borghetto.
The service could perhaps be improved a little, but the food makes up for it.
Highly recommended.
