The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. We had delicious polenta concia and an excellent tartiflette. Kudos to the very kind and helpful staff. We asked for information on what to do these days and they were full of suggestions. Highly recommended!

An unexpected discovery in Etroubles, while searching for a place that was open for dinner... Then, walking through the village (which is worth a visit), we see this sign, which goes a bit unnoticed and perhaps a little (intentionally) anonymous, because it's not "shoutout" but perfectly matches the style of the place. A historic restaurant recently renovated: the dishes offered are traditional but revisited with originality. The atmosphere is soft, intimate, a place you won't forget, not only for the chef's dishes or the courtesy of the staff, but for the atmosphere, the decor, and the details. Everything is impeccable, in our opinion. And what about the food? From the baked tomino terrine on rustic chestnut and honey bread, to the potato rosti with Becca d'Aver, stewed cabbage, dried apples, and Agrodenso, to the conchiglioni stuffed with Jambon de Bosse on a Bleu d'Aosta fondue, to the lager beer with rhododendron honey and pepper, and the chestnut rolls... Last but not least, dessert: brown bread cake, chocolate, walnuts, and Genepy. All plated and served impeccably... it's a feast for the eyes, too. There's also a tea room available for guests, where they can stop for a snack or an aperitif. Good value for money.

Delicious cuisine, meticulously presented, and a friendly and attentive waitress. The setting is beautiful, with a large dining room with an antique stone ceiling and a fireplace, and a smaller, cozy dining room. This restaurant was a wonderful surprise!

Small and welcoming, the menu is carefully crafted and unique compared to the local average, while still remaining very local. The food is excellent, and the service is equally as good.
