27/11/2025: Very, very bad service. The waitress was rude and cheeky, and on top of that, they overcharged us. The penne with truffle sauce was from a Chinese restaurant; everything was awful.

02/11/2025: I don't recommend it. There are no drinks on the menu, and then you realize a regular bottle of water costs 4 euros and a glass of wine 8 euros. The prices are outrageous. They only care about money. The service is poor, the only thing is the pasta, which is okay, but still quite expensive. There are better places nearby.

05/08/2025: We stopped for lunch and ordered some starters and grilled meat. The starters were good, but not very hot. The meat was excellent. Friendly service. Enjoy your visit.

22/09/2025: On vacation with our 6-month-old daughter, we stumbled upon the Loggetta after reading the menu, which included vegan options. We were amazed by the kindness and courtesy, the quality of the products, and the beautiful location. We kept coming back for every other day of our vacation. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. There was also a wide selection of vegan options, from appetizers to dessert. Everything was perfect and absolutely fantastic.

27/08/2025: We were deeply disappointed with our experience at this restaurant, especially considering I had already indicated that I was vegan when booking. • Appetizer: the menu listed smoked tofu, but we were served regular tofu, without any prior explanation. Upon our observation, we were simply told that "smoked tofu is hard to find," without any advance notice. • Dessert: the worst part. We ordered vegan cantuccini (listed on the menu), but they weren't available. We were offered soy ice cream... but it arrived topped with non-vegan cream. After pointing this out, no apology was given; they simply brought back the same ice cream without cream. A mistake that, besides being unprofessional, could have had serious consequences for those—like me—who avoid animal products for ethical and/or health reasons. At the cashier, instead of receiving a sincere apology, we were told things like, "We usually always use vegan cream." A defensive and disrespectful attitude that ignores neither the customer's complaints nor the seriousness of the mistake. 👉 In short: a place that claims to be attentive to dietary needs, but in reality demonstrates neither care, clarity, nor sensitivity toward those following a vegan diet. The impression is that the approach is superficial and lacks the professionalism necessary to ensure a safe and satisfying experience. We won't return, and we wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a truly reliable place for those with special dietary needs.

16/08/2025: Rude staff, even more so the owner, very rude. When we asked for clarification on the dishes, he replied, "If it's okay, that's it. Otherwise, you can leave." NEVER talk rudely to customers, but this was downright rude! I advise everyone not to stop here and to move on.

27/07/2025: Posto molto accogliente e curato nei minimi dettagli, personale gentilissimo e preparato ma soprattutto cibo ottimo!!! È stata una bellissima serata e ritorneremo con molto piacere. I prezzi sono molto più che onesti.

Today we had three special menus for €10 each, including a delicious plate of Norcina-style celery with sausage and white truffle sauce; a second course of two slices of roast pork with fries. Drinks not included. Two 500ml bottles of water for €2 each. I recommend it. Fast service, no delays. For those who want to eat without pretensions in a historic restaurant with ancient vaults.

03/01/2026: Good food, poorly maintained and dirty tavern, bathroom in horrific conditions, really rude and impolite staff

08/02/2026: I came in to buy a bottle of water and left after a five-minute wait, without anyone speaking to me. Despite being there waiting, I was completely invisible to the staff, completely absorbed in a chaotic and needlessly stressful work environment. I witnessed a typical scene: the coffee attendant was yelling at the waiters, urging them to deliver a tray she hadn't yet finished preparing. This type of coordination doesn't speed up service; it only creates an atmosphere of anxiety that negatively impacts productivity and, inevitably, the customer experience. I'm convinced the staff are professionals eager to work, but workload management must be done calmly and clearly. Such an anxious management style only wastes resources and leads to longer than necessary management times. I hope this comment will be taken as a constructive warning to rediscover the harmony needed to enhance the establishment.

25/12/2025: We have been visiting Assisi for ten years and this is THE best coffee in town BAR NONE. We are extremely picky about coffee in the States and we always go to this café daily for our cappucino (phenomenal!) and espresso fix. All others in this town are a waste of time (we've done the work of trying all the fuds for you). Their coffees make me poetic!

18/02/2026: STAY AWAY, I unfortunately set foot in this place during a university break, the qualities that distinguish this place (besides the lack of care for everything) are the rudeness, arrogance and discourtesy of the staff, rather go for mushrooms

15/02/2026: I went to this bar for a coffee. Besides the fact that it was completely watered down, the staff at the counter were rude, and there was no manners. The atmosphere was completely run-down; I don't understand how a place like this could still be open. Go elsewhere; Perugia is full of bars where you can enjoy a coffee in peace!

08/06/2025: Ieri mattina sono stata con una mia amica a dare colazione alla sede vicino al Pian di Massiano a Perugia. Avevo chiesto un cappuccino senza lattosio e un caffè lungo. Dopo un attesa di circa 20 minuti al banco bar, mi viene passato solo il caffè. Visto che il cappuccino non arrivava e il caffè si raffredava, ho chiesto se era possibile avere anche il cappuccino. Il ragazzo che faceva i caffè ha detto che non è un obbligo andare a fare colazione lì.... Per di più, alcuni giorni prima ero stata sempre per fare colazione lì e, purtroppo per sbaglio, una cameriera ha fatto cadere un vassoio con delle tazzine e piattini di caffè, rompendoli. Purtroppo può capitare e la ragazza ha chiesto scusa però lo stesso ragazzo che fa i caffè ha cominciato a urlarli addosso, davanti a tutti i clienti, che gli avrebbe trattenuto dallo stipendio il costo dei piattini e delle tazzine rotte. I prodotti sono ottimi però il personale, soprattutto il ragazzo che fa i caffè la mattina, è maleducato e sgarbato....

20/05/2025: Frequento Menchetti da alcuni mesi: principalmente per la colazione, ma sono passata anche per l'aperitivo qualche volta. Finalmente ho capito perchè ci sia sempre così tanta gente: i prodotti da forno sono molto buoni; in particolare i cornetti, i maritozzi e la pizza alla pala. Il caffè e il cappuccino sono fatti bene, meno i drink. Prezzi medi: una colazione "classica" viene sui 3 euro. Il vero neo di questo locale è lo staff: spesso poco disponibile e scostante, è un peccato perchè i prodotti meritano tanto. Ampio parcheggio disponibile, ma dato l'enorme afflusso di clienti si fatica a trovare un posto.

27/02/2026: The service wasn't friendly, and the pizza was a waste of time. When we asked if the pizza was fresh, the lady replied yes... And she was pulling the pizza out of the freezer right in front of us!!! It looked awful. Canned pasta is better than this. When we got the pasta, it was hard, so we went to the glade to discuss this. She said no problem and that it would be fine in two minutes and put the pasta in the microwave. Honestly, the pizza from Frog is heaven on earth. Don't go there under any circumstances!
