Il locale è spazioso ,semplice ed accogliente.Il titolare si è subito occupato di noi facendoci scegliere il posto che preferiamo .Le portate sono a base di cibi per lo più della zona,saporiti e molto abbondanti.il servizio è stato rapido con una attenzione continua ma non assillante.Buono il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Mi sento di consigliare questo locale ,nel quale torneremo sicuramente.

We came across this small restaurant after a visit to the Clitunno springs and after looking for a place to eat. I would say that never was a more appropriate choice. Mauro, the gentleman who welcomes you, shows that he does this job and not only this with great passion and above all with love. He put us at ease by telling us all about him and his specialties. To eat, you eat very well with an open kitchen and this tells a lot about your offer. We left simply amazed by the service and the excellent food. The wine was also exquisite, the food was all locally sourced and cooked in the right way. We will be back and recommend it to everyone. Always open.... Rests from midnight to 12 as the very nice Mauro says.

Il ristorante ecezionale, antipasti buonissimi (ricotta fantastica ;)) porzioni generose, materia prima di ottima qualità! La cosa più sorprendente è la simpatia del gestore!

Anche se abitiamo lontano abbiamo saputo della ri-apertura di un locale da parte di Mauro e ci siamo fiondati per festeggiare! Primi con ragù al coltello ottimi, agnello al forno, da leccarsi i baffi, spezzatino senza pomodoro delizioso, qualcosina da migliorare su i dolci, buono il tiramisù decorato con ricotta di capra e miele. I prezzi direi veramente contenuti per la qualità e la quantità servite. A presto, a molto presto!

07/02/2024: Tried it in the summer. We conclude our food and wine journey in the wonderful Umbria with a pearl and with what turned out to be the best restaurant of these 2 weeks. The Cellar is a truly beautiful place, it seems to be carved into the rock, but you can also dine, as we did, in the beautiful outdoor garden. As the name suggests, the underground cellars, in addition to being truly beautiful places worthy of a visit, are also the protagonists of what is a very respectable wine list, with proposals that range across our wine offering. We had dinner with a Sagrantino from a rather new producer in the rich Umbrian panorama, Tenuta Bellafonte and their Collenottolo 2010 was truly fantastic! The dinner began with their kindly offered entrée based on tomato soup with various small pizzas (with Cannara onions and coppa), which was very welcome. Our choice went for an egg on potato cream, foie gras and black summer truffle. The dish was delicious: an exceptional balance of aromas and flavors. We then shared another appetizer because their offer of cold cuts was really too tempting and so we opted for a trio of excellent cold cuts, consisting of: patanegra joselito cut with a knife, sublime! wild pork ham aged for 6 years and speck from Val d'Ultimo Enrich Poder (from Trentino). The dish was accompanied by oven-baked goat's ricotta with truffles. Also in this case the unanimous comment was totally positive. Finally, I had an exquisite Chianina tartare with truffle, while my partner chose an excellent dish of truffle tagliolini with duck ragout. The dinner ended with some creme brulè for me and a tiramisu for her. Both dishes convinced us. The service was impeccable, helpful and professional. The chef stopped by our table several times to explain the dishes and give us advice, all in a very discreet way. In short, the place is highly recommended and the detour to the beautiful village of Cerreto di Spoleto is an absolute must.
02/01/2024: Luigi and Christine know how to lead you with simplicity and a pinch of refinement to discover the typical materials of the area. A place to recharge and indulge in good food. Advised!

Osteria del Boccajolo

16/03/2024: You can't help but order something with truffles! The Boccajolo starter is excellent as is the ravioli with buffalo mozzarella and truffle. The final tiramisu was really creamy, excellent. The small room is really cute.
