01/11/2025: The scottadito? And where is it? I find out that it is in Bevagna. I want to try it and I find a place that could be very nice if you don't find more than a hundred people for dinner and then you think that the food should be good. A waiter arrives and runs from one table to another, takes the orders, the appetizer arrives quickly, then disappears for over an hour and finally comes back with a cold slice of steak and with parmesan cheese, not flakes but grated, and the vegetables too. Negative experience, not to be recommended.

28/10/2025: I was there on Saturday, the place was packed with people, with tables close to each other, which was a bit too much for me.... let's move on to the food: the starter was brought straight away.... the sliced ​​steak was brought after an hour and a half and it was cold, with flakes of Grana Padano cheese instead of grated Parmesan on top..... for me, a terrible place, not recommended.

14/11/2025: First time dining here... a wonderful surprise, everything wonderful: food, wine, service, ambiance... Trust them on the wine pairings for every course; they never fail. 10 out of 10!! The best in Ponte San Giovanni and the surrounding area.

16/11/2025: It's hard to define this place! I recommend coming even just to tour the various rooms, meticulously decorated by the owner in antique, baroque, gothic, Victorian styles, and more. The Arabian-inspired room is fantastic, with Kasbah-style mirrors, carpets, and oriental decorations! The host Cesare is a great character, and his hospitality makes you feel at home. He's always available for a chat! Quality food, delicious porcini strangozzi, and delicious pizza! Tiramisu deconstructed with a Nutella surprise inside! Nice selection of wines. In Spello, you'll love it here!

31/10/2025: Last night, my wife and I made a last-minute decision to go out for pizza. After visiting several pizzerias—all fully booked—I remembered a place I'd known for years: the pizzeria "Le Vigne" in Piano di Tremestieri Etneo, right next to the little field where my children used to gather to play soccer years ago. When we arrived, we were immediately struck by the welcoming atmosphere. The place is very well-kept, with the option of eating inside or outside. They welcomed us with great kindness, making us feel immediately at ease, almost as if we were at home. The staff—two women and a man—were always friendly, helpful, and smiling. We even had a personal chat with one of the waitresses about her family and children, which made the experience even more pleasant and personal. The service was quick, attentive, and meticulously executed. But the real star was the pizza: countless variations on the menu, each more inviting than the last. We chose two—one with sausage and broccoli rabe, the other with confit tomatoes—and, as is our custom, we split them in half to enjoy both. The pizzas were large enough to pop off the plate, thin and incredibly light: beautiful to look at and even better to eat. They didn't leave us thirsty or feeling bloated or heavy. Curious to learn more, I went to check out the oven. There I met Roman, the pizza chef: a friendly, polite, and enthusiastic Bangladeshi. While he worked, he explained to me—in a perfect mix of Italian and Sicilian!—that the pizza dough is "completely yeast-free." The dough is prepared with at least 72 hours of maturation, and once it's finished, they don't make any more: they prefer to close rather than lower the quality, unlike other pizzerias that replace the dough with "quicker" and heavier versions. I also appreciated the dedication of the owner, who personally works in the kitchen. Exchanging a few words with her, I sensed the genuine love she puts into her work: an invisible yet essential ingredient. In conclusion, I highly recommend Pizzeria "Le Vigne": if you're looking for a place to eat excellent pizza in a family-friendly, relaxed, and attentive atmosphere, all you need to do is make a reservation. I'm sure that, like us, you'll happily return... and recommend it to friends and family.

02/11/2025: Comfortable and spotlessly clean rooms. Super helpful and friendly staff. Delicious homemade cakes for breakfast and a beautiful view of the hills from the panoramic windows in the dining/breakfast room. Convenient parking right at the hotel entrance. Very close to Todi! We'll definitely be back to try the hotel restaurant, since everyone raves about it!

09/10/2025: Great hotel located at the base of old town Todi with plenty of car spaces. I felt there was a language barrier on arrival…we were given just a key to room, we were not given wifi code or any other information. but after then all staff so helpful. I requested tea making facilities in room which was given to us immediately. Breakfast as has been mentioned is super basic, but I highly recommend the scrambled egg on toast - this was absolutely delicious. There were plenty of beautiful cakes and tarts to choose from , yoghurts , granola etc. We paid extra for the larger room, balcony and view and it was worth it. The bed was very comfortable… great hot shower. Everywhere was spotless and if I were to return would definitely book here again. If you are thinking of booking … go direct through the hotel. Prices were cheaper than booking.com. All in all a fabulous stay. Thank you. Ps. Thanks to the lovely lady at reception who found a little safety pin for me… You were brilliant. X

02/11/2025: Usually, everything's fine. Lately, they've had a less-than-pet-friendly policy. It's a shame because we've been customers for 10 years and it's never happened to us. I repeat, it's a shame to lose loyal customers like this.

20/10/2025: The best in this region! The food and service are fantastic; everything is just right here. This hotel has been a favorite with me since I was a child, and now, as parents, we feel the same enthusiasm in our children: They want to return immediately! You can tell you're welcome here, even as a child. The location is top-notch and a great starting point for many things to do in the region or in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The staff is extremely well-trained and a motivated part of this successful concept. A place that creates memories and connects generations. 💫

19/09/2025: We were in the middle of a siesta – no one else, under an umbrella, with a gentle breeze. Perfect. Perfect cappuccino 👌🏼 Since there was a "frying pan," the gentleman moved our table for shade without asking and set everything up. Overall, great.

12/07/2025: Terrible experience. We had breakfast at 8 am on a Saturday. We had coffee and pastries but the pastries were really stale and at least a couple of days old. When we query the freshness of the food, the waitress said that they were delivered that morning fresh from the bakery and that the pastry was a bit hard because of the fridge temperature. This confirmed our suspicions because why would you keep fresh pastries in the fridge at 8 am in the morning while people are eating food?

03/11/2025: We had breakfast on November 2nd, because it was the only bar open at 8:30. We'd factored in the high price, considering the location, but the croissants, which looked like they were made yesterday, were honestly quite disappointing. The glass of white milk for €2.50 was delicious, though!

31/08/2025: Absolutely not! We were here for a ceremony but the disorganization was shocking! The service was improvised, they didn't even know how to serve French style!! Better to plate it at this point! We ate very late (midnight). Overcooked pasta, sauce that tasted of nothing. Poor quality ham! Absolutely not recommended!

20/08/2025: We had dinner last night, everything was delicious and plentiful. Mauro brought complimentary appetizers, focaccia and bruschetta, all delicious. For the first course, excellent strangozzi with porcini mushrooms, and for the second course, lamb with excellent baked potatoes. All washed down with a lovely bottle of Sagrantino. The bill was very fair, excellent value for money.
