07/09/2025: We went after reading positive reviews and also because the other establishments in the area have never disappointed us, we opted to try this place, one of the few we had never been to. We would have had an unlucky evening, I don't know, anyway, we sit down, they bring us the menu, after 40 minutes they apologize for the wait, I must say that the place wasn't completely full, we order a mixed fried food and 2 pizzas for 2, telling us that they would immediately put the fried food in the kitchen so we could eat, another 30 minutes pass and still nothing, my husband goes to ask in the dining room the reason for the delay, in short, our fried food ended up at a table of people who arrived half an hour after us, after 15 minutes our mixed fried food arrives and immediately after the pizzas which by then had been put to cook, so the fried food was good, the pizza I'm sorry but it seemed like those with the bases already prepared, without a crust and with a hard edge and not at all crumbly, I'm sorry for the moment it's the only place that has disappointed me in that area

17/08/2025: It's a really outdated place. We ate here once last year, and it wasn't busy. The food was fine then. This time, there was some kind of party going on. We were among the first in. We had to wait 10 minutes for a table. Then it turned out they only offered a standard antipasto and pizzas. Well, fine. The antipasto was fine. Then we ordered four pizzas, one with gorgonzola and one with four cheeses. After 15 minutes, it turned out they only had mozzarella. Okay. That's fine too. It didn't resemble what we ordered, but oh well. The most expensive pizza was 8 euros. The pizzas were truly inedible. Hard, greasy, and stale. We also ordered two beers, three soft drinks, and one water. We were charged 80 euros. The receipt showed four menus of the day. By our own calculation, we were overcharged by 20 euros, but because of our poor Italian, their poor English, and the crowd, I didn't bother. I didn't leave a single tip (which I practically never do). I personally really like the 70s look of this place, but we won't be going there again anyway.

29/09/2025: Nice restsurant in the centre of Perugia. It has a basic menu. Personnel is very friendly and helpfull. Outside is a terrace on the street. Inside is down in the cellar a big room with lots of tables. Downside is very nicely decorated with different objects and the walls are filled with old black and white pictures. Prices are low, menu basic, so good value for your money.

25/09/2025: We grabbed a quick pizza for dinner—well, one of the best pizzas I've ever had! Truly delicious, with a nice, thin, dry crust and fresh, flavorful buffalo mozzarella. The location is also incredibly unique, literally underground, with a medieval feel. The staff is friendly and helpful.

09/10/2025: Great hotel located at the base of old town Todi with plenty of car spaces. I felt there was a language barrier on arrival…we were given just a key to room, we were not given wifi code or any other information. but after then all staff so helpful. I requested tea making facilities in room which was given to us immediately. Breakfast as has been mentioned is super basic, but I highly recommend the scrambled egg on toast - this was absolutely delicious. There were plenty of beautiful cakes and tarts to choose from , yoghurts , granola etc. We paid extra for the larger room, balcony and view and it was worth it. The bed was very comfortable… great hot shower. Everywhere was spotless and if I were to return would definitely book here again. If you are thinking of booking … go direct through the hotel. Prices were cheaper than booking.com. All in all a fabulous stay. Thank you. Ps. Thanks to the lovely lady at reception who found a little safety pin for me… You were brilliant. X

21/09/2025: We stayed at this hotel for one night in a very spacious and well-maintained Deluxe double room. It's truly convenient for those passing through and visiting the beautiful town of Todi. It's located about a kilometer from Piazza del Popolo, making it easy to reach the town's parking lots by car or for those who prefer to walk. It has a convenient underground parking lot from which you can unload your bags and take the elevator directly to your rooms or reception. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast is truly excellent. The cakes and pastries are top-quality. Perhaps a little overpriced, but still recommended.

01/08/2025: The food was not the best to put it nicely, they had enough vegetarian options. But i would not take someone there who is a some what picky eater. The service was good, the server did not speak alot of english but everything went smoothly. We think the place was better before the earthquakes and that they might have lost money due to a lack of tourist

10/08/2025: As always, when we come to Assisi, we can't miss Simona and Davide's: it's hard to find such a warm and welcoming welcome! And then, because the food is truly delicious: torta al testo is the local specialty, of course. But they're not all the same, on the contrary! At Casa di Bacco, you're guaranteed to always find fresh products, carefully selected from the best producers. The cake, the cured meats, the cheeses, and then the wines, the craft beers—everything is simple and perfect! It goes without saying that we'll be back: we've been coming for years because it makes us feel good!

08/07/2025: The price-performance ratio is terrible, especially for what you get, whether it's food or drinks. The focaccias or flatbreads are different, but the simple fillings, especially the vegetable ones, aren't vegetables at all, just spinach, and they look like they're canned, without any oil or other seasoning. Sad and a bit misled.

21/07/2025: I really liked this place. The staff takes good care of you and proactively offers the best options. I particularly enjoyed the paintings there, which even inspired me, and the overall cozy atmosphere. of course, the oven-baked pizza was simply excellent. After traveling from big cities, it's pleasant to experience such a heartfelt approach

12/07/2025: Sono andato con un gruppo di amici che aveva scelto questo posto basandosi sui commenti letti online, e in effetti ci siamo trovati benissimo. Lo staff è molto gentile e propone una degustazione di prodotti tipici, accompagnata da un assaggio di vino. Dopo, si può scegliere tra panini e taglieri, tutti preparati con ingredienti di ottima qualità.

06/07/2025: We came in to consume something. Alcohol cannot be served, coffee cannot because the machine had been cleaned. We ask to at least use the bathroom for an emergency, they answer "the bathroom is for customers". I would have gladly been your customer but you denied us the things we asked for. I do not ask for much, but at least a minimum of solidarity for a need. Congratulations

21/09/2025: I was very disappointed with the experience. I had ordered a 1.8 kg Florentine steak and it was brought to me pre-sliced, with much more salt than necessary, and most importantly, without the characteristic T-bone. When I asked for clarification, I was told that "one steak comes with the T-bone and one doesn't," a reasoning I find opaque, given that a true Florentine steak should have both sides (fillet and sirloin). In fact, I was served a rib-eye steak, passed off as a Florentine. Furthermore, the Arnaldo Caprai wine I had chosen wasn't opened at the table, but brought with the corkscrew inserted and the cork partially loose, with only the final opening stage performed in front of me. A detail that may seem minor, but it shows a lack of care and professionalism. The meat, it must be said, was of excellent quality and flavor. But the service was not at all transparent or up to expectations. With little effort, an excellent experience could have been offered, but instead it left a bitter taste in my mouth.

29/08/2025: Absolutely avoidable, practically nonexistent service, wine arrived after 20 minutes thanks to our prompting, then the side dish arrived 50 minutes after ordering (note that the mixed salad arrived already dressed 🤦), an hour later the wrong order arrived. Basically, it was a catastrophe!!! We paid for what we consumed (i.e. drinks) and ran away. No, we're not in for it!!!!

22/09/2025: I've driven along this road leading to Lake Trasimeno many times, and this time I tried the restaurant. The owner and staff were very attentive and friendly. The appetizer was good, featuring local cured meats. The balanced first course, gnocchi with courgettes and sliced ​​truffle, was very good. The reinterpretation of the Chianina beef osso buco was also interesting. The prices are in line with local fare. My advice is to update the prices on the official website for both the restaurant and the hotel, as they aren't up to date. I had a great time, and I hope to return. They also make pizza and have hotels, which I haven't tried. I recommend booking.

18/07/2025: Our tour bus stopped in Passignano sul Trasimeno on our way to Rome. We had an hour to wander and grab a bite, and we chise to stop in at Marleybone ar & Coffee. My family ordered a Perugia pizza to share, and it was fantastic! I normally eat just a bit of the crust to avoid the extra calories, but this was so good I couldn't help but eat every bite. The young woman who served us seemed to be the only one there, but she was great! Also, her English is fantastic, so there were no communication issues with our very little Italian. We sat outside and enjoyed the views of this terrific little town. It was so idyllic that we've added Passignano to our list of places to visit again and spend more time.
