22/09/2025: An authentic and genuine culinary experience, far from the chaos of the city and immersed in the tranquility of the Umbrian countryside, Ristorante Pizzeria San Bartolomeo, located on the Strada Statale della Contessa, is a stop well worth considering. San Bartolomeo's strong point is undoubtedly its cuisine, firmly rooted in local traditions with a wide array of dishes, from classic Umbrian first courses featuring homemade pasta to grilled meat main courses (they also serve pizza, but I haven't tried it). The restaurant's atmosphere is rustic, welcoming, and familiar. The staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful. The atmosphere is typical of old-fashioned trattorias. The quality-price ratio is excellent, with prices fair and appropriate for the quality and size of the portions. The service is quick and attentive.

30/11/2025: This was the only place in Italy we ate at twice. Such a quiet, lovely spot. We did dinner and then lunch. The caccio e pepe senza glutine was my favorite meal of the trip. Caprese was so fresh. Wine recommendations were incredible. Loved it here.

30/11/2025: We ate lunch at this restaurant on a cold, rainy day on a recommendation from a friend. I am vegan and was very happy to see how accommodating they are in offering vegan options. I had a fantastic farro and veggie soup. For dessert I had the vegan, cashew based Panna Cotta. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. I decided to eat lunch there again the following day. I had a mushroom and truffle pasta (which they made vegan with an egg free pasta) and again had that fantastic Panna Cotta. Everything was incredible! They don't advertise the vegan Panna Cotta, but whether you are vegan or just dairy free, the Panna Cotta is a MUST! If you are in Orvietto you must try this little, out of the way restaurant. E' eccellente!

03/12/2025: Excellent hospitality, prompt service at the tables and bar, and delicious, bold food. We've been back as a group several times, very happily. I recommend making a reservation to secure a table. Fair prices, generous portions ;-).

01/12/2025: Speechless. This osteria, found by chance while on vacation in Umbria, left me speechless. The friendliness and family atmosphere, combined with the superb quality of the food, are truly exceptional. A must-see if you're in the area! Congratulations!

22/11/2025: An excellent "Osteria" in the countryside that certainly deserves a Michelin star. The restaurant is understated, with a simple, understated elegance. The lady serving is knowledgeable, smiling, and naturally kind and courteous. The food is well-prepared and carefully prepared, with quality ingredients, and without any acrobatic displays. Desserts are not boringly banal (a rarity).

05/11/2025: Everything was excellent...we returned with the family for the second time, and despite the distance from our starting point, I can say that it was worth it.

25/10/2025: What can I say? Everything was excellent, it's a shame about the distance and I don't go there often, but definitely recommended.

12/10/2025: Unfortunately our experience was negative, perhaps we were having a bad day: we sat at the table around 1:15 pm and then ordered fried cuoppo which was supposed to contain fried cheese, Ascoli olives and fried mozzarella and then two first courses: PAPPARDELLE WITH WILD BOAR and BREAD GNOCCHETTI, LEEK, BACON AND PECORINO, plus two glasses of red wine. The wine arrives and after a while the Cuoppo arrives which was made up of Ascoli olives, potato croquettes and battered vegetables 🤔🤔 we point out to the person who took the order that there is no cheese and they tell us that he can't check everything. Ok, fine, we wait for the first courses for at least an hour and ask how they are going, but we don't know. Then two first courses arrive, but they are for the table that arrived after us. At this point at 2:30 pm we leave the table and approach the cashier to pay for the little we had: they were good enough not to charge us.

03/10/2025: The Vineria is located next to the splendid Church of San Fortunato. The atmosphere is welcoming and elegant. The menu is fairly traditional Umbrian. We had the gnocchi, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, and biscotti with Vin Santo. Everything was very good, as was the wine. The service was satisfactory. The quality/price ratio was good.

16/10/2025: Very good ice cream. Lick offers unique flavors, such as gorgonzola. The service is friendly and the place is cozy. This ice cream shop is worth a visit.

18/09/2025: Very original flavors, the ice creams were excellent and the service very professional. I tried lemon-basil, yogurt-passion fruit, and crema di guio.

21/10/2025: My husband and I hiked the Silent Villages Trail, and on our second stop, we dined at the Uva Passera Osteria. Excellent lasagna and sautéed chicory with a fantastic burger (I'm celiac and was able to eat without any problems). Excellent cuisine, a warm welcome, and all the sunshine of Umbria and this splendid village of Morre, with its many lovely people. (I also wanted to mention the girl from the Arci club.)

24/10/2025: It's the fourth time I've been there and as far as quality and service are concerned, there's nothing to complain about, just that (at least for my pockets) I can't afford it... spending €103.00 for 4 pizzas, 2 beers, 2 desserts and 1 coffee makes me think that it has become a place suitable for people with higher incomes than mine💁‍♂️

11/09/2025: Extraordinary restaurant with a breathtaking view. Every dish that we have ordered was simply amazing and one of a kind. The waitress was constantly smiling, you could feel that they pour their heart and soul into this place. Essence of the Italy.

30/11/2025: After the summer, we returned in the fall to a new menu featuring seasonal produce. It was a confirmation of the quality of the food, prepared according to tradition. The ribollita was superb. Highly recommended.

04/10/2025: We stopped by today by chance for lunch and it was a very pleasant surprise. The owner was very kind and courteous, very helpful in making us comfortable with my mother in the wheelchair. The young woman serving us was also very kind and courteous. The food was all delicious. I recommend the burrata crostini. They're special. The price is right. The place is quaint and well-kept. I'd give it 6 stars if it were possible.
