09/08/2026: We’ve been to Italy many times, and this time we’ve already been traveling for two weeks and this little restaurant has been an absolute highlight. Without a doubt, the best food we’ve had on this trip so far. 🤍
Authentic, beautifully prepared food made with quality ingredients, warm and friendly service without ever being pushy, and such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Everything felt genuine and thoughtful.
It was truly a wonderful experience, and exactly the kind of little Italian restaurant you hope to stumble upon while traveling. We would come back in a heartbeat!

09/06/2026: Inventive and perfectly cooked food (making a nice change from the relentless and often lacklustre pizza and pasta offering in the rest of the city). Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. The best meal and service we had in Assisi, without a doubt.

03/05/2026: We spent the weekend of May 1st in Umbria, and encouraged by our son, who watches Giorgione on TV, we dined there on two evenings. Excellent quality, a generous appetizer buffet, a truly generous set menu, and everything was delicious! Giorgione is truly friendly; he stopped by to take photos with everyone at the table and chatted with everyone, especially the kids! What more can I say? A perfect weekend in a wonderful region.

24/10/2025: It's the fourth time I've been there and as far as quality and service are concerned, there's nothing to complain about, just that (at least for my pockets) I can't afford it... spending €103.00 for 4 pizzas, 2 beers, 2 desserts and 1 coffee makes me think that it has become a place suitable for people with higher incomes than mine💁♂️

05/07/2026: Top cuisine: typical Umbrian dishes cooked to perfection and of excellent quality, as is the wine list. Vittorio is hospitable and cheerful, the atmosphere small but welcoming and air-conditioned.
04/07/2026: We chose this place because we thought we'd reached the more famous and renowned Osteria A Priori, located 15 meters away. The dining experience was terrible, the atmosphere was dated, and the cleanliness was questionable. Not recommended.

17/05/2026: The food was delicious! The chef and owner is very friendly and gave us a complimentary appetizer he had prepared especially for us. There were five of us, and all the dishes were very tasty. Plus, everyone was very attentive.

02/06/2026: Disrespectful to tourists. I was alone, looking for good, authentic food, and waited over 30 minutes. The owner barely looked at me; other Italians called him over, telling him I was waiting. When he finally attended to me, even though there were two empty tables, he wouldn't let me sit down, saying he was waiting for other Italians to arrive. After waiting an hour, he said I would be seated in 30 minutes, but the restaurant closed in 15 minutes... I went to the restaurant next door, Al Pozzo, where the service was much better and the food was excellent.

20/07/2026: The owner is professional and friendly. He doesn't push pressure, he doesn't act like a "salesman," but he welcomes guests and makes them feel at home. The food was excellent, and it was a wonderful evening. Recommended.

13/04/2026: A rustic restaurant in true Umbrian style, with a simple menu but tasty, authentic dishes. The tagliatelle are excellent. I'll be back to try the chicken fricó. The house wine is drinkable and pleasant. Special mention goes to the young waiter, who was polite and quick. Recommended!

Don't miss the antipasto platter (the €22 one), the truffle cappelletti, the gnocchi, the mixed roast pork (sensational pancetta and guanciale), the tiramisu, and the richiama! The house wine is also very good. The outdoor setting is poetic, it feels like a dream. Sincere compliments!
