The expertly crafted ingredients, beyond perfection, blend seamlessly with the highest-quality raw materials, used with incredible skill. Here, cooking and drinking, rigorously traditional, are a true art, a journey through sight, smell, and taste, but above all through the feelings and emotions that the Chef, preparing unique dishes, evokes in those who enjoy them. There is no such thing as pre-cooked or frozen; every ingredient exudes freshness and respect for nature's cycle. The game is, without a doubt, spectacular. 05/05/2026: Yesterday we had the pleasure of lunch at Ristorante Montenero, a true gem in the Amelia countryside, which this year celebrates an extraordinary milestone: 100 years in business, since 1926. A family-run trattoria that has successfully reinvented itself in its hospitality without ever betraying its soul: that of authentic Umbrian tradition. Dishes that tell a story of authentic flavors and passion, such as the hearty and authentic handmade fettuccine with ragù, game, pan-fried chicken, stewed mutton, and coratella (a kind of lamb cutlet). All prepared with local produce and the highest-quality ingredients. But beyond the cuisine, what truly strikes you is the atmosphere: a warm, family-friendly environment where you immediately feel at home. One of those rare places that still retains the profound sense of time-honored hospitality. My sincere congratulations to the entire staff for preserving and passing on such an important tradition. 15/06/2026: I went for dinner yesterday and was accompanied by the waiter to the garden because I'm a wheelchair user. The staff was very attentive and the food was delicious. I'm from Rome and if I return to Umbria, I'll definitely come back.

02/06/2026: We arrived at 1pm with some doubts since in the previous days we had not been satisfied eating in Gubbio, Mary welcomed us, a very kind person who immediately brought us a bottle of water and the menu, in the menu there is also a fish dish we chose the pasta with lobsters, clams and courgettes dish #fantastic# then we had chicken and rabbit fricco, a spectacular typical dish, a family-run restaurant not bro

09/05/2026: We booked for just one night, the place is beautiful. We ate there for dinner, the menu was varied and delicious, and the breakfast was plentiful and varied. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the owner was also a kindhearted man. I would return again. Thank you for everything.

25/05/2026: The best restaurant I've tried in recent times!!! A very warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, and appetizers and main courses unlike anything I've had in years!!! The quality and freshness of the ingredients used make the dishes delicious. I highly recommend the egg with fresh fava beans and the goat cheese as an appetizer. Needless to say: highly recommended!!!

05/04/2026: Terrible, almost an hour and a half to wait for the food, the waiter responded rudely to my request, not even a basket of bread and breadsticks during the wait, the drinks were always brought very late. I understand the overcrowding of the day but the waiter was really rude in responding to the customer in this manner.

It was a perfect choice; the owner, Walter, welcomed us very warmly without having to reserve a table for four. We ordered four tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, expertly prepared and seasoned in the kitchen by his wife. The aroma and the hunger meant we didn't have time to take any photos. ☺️ "We recommend." For the main course, pork chop and various side dishes. Finally, he delighted us with the house dessert. We personally complimented him and now we want to share this experience with other travelers. Thank you again for your kindness and availability. 💯💯

01/05/2026: We arrived on May 1st at 12:00 PM without a reservation, hoping to eat since we were traveling. We were greeted with extreme kindness (we have a 10-month-old baby and a 3-year-old girl with us). Everyone was very professional but above all loving; it felt like we were having lunch with family. The food was exquisite and delicious. Two crescie, a ravioli, a chicken breast, spinach, and water for €40. The portions were incredibly generous. If we had spent even €20 more, I would have thought the bill was fair given the portions. Every time we pass by, we'll definitely stop for lunch. It was a great pleasure.

03/06/2026: A restaurant in the center of Trevi that perfectly follows tradition, serving typical dishes that celebrate the village celery festival. My family and I went to eat here. From the very beginning, the restaurant appeared well-kept and well-maintained, featuring several rooms with vaulted ceilings and stonework, all historic. I personally tried a warm tart as an appetizer, a truffle tortellino, and a stuffed pigeon. Obviously, everything was delicious, but the friendliness of the staff also made the evening enjoyable. We recommend it!

31/05/2026: We had lunch at the end of May at this lovely tavern in this charming village. We're a couple. An appetizer of asparagus and egg, white lasagna, strangozzi with summer truffle, and millefeuille. Everything was truly excellent, with one small complaint: some of the asparagus stalks were a bit too "tough." The first courses arrived a bit too late. But we're really talking about the details. If I could give it a rating, it'd be just under 5, but the friendliness and kindness of the waiters bring it back to the top. In short, a highly recommended place that takes care of its customers even on holidays and where the quality is high. Good!
