11/04/2026: Chosen based on the positive reviews, which I absolutely agree with. Appetizer with authentic local cured meats and cheeses. Homemade truffle gnocchi and porcini mushroom tagliatelle. Quince jam tart with homemade biscuits. The owner is welcoming and extremely kind. Service was prompt despite the restaurant being packed. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be back to try the gnocchi with venison ragù (the owner hunted the venison himself). Super fair prices. Thank you for contributing to a wonderful memory of this day in Cascia.

14/04/2026: I had dinner during a sporting event. The evening before the Gubbio Trail Citta di Pietra, I was a guest of the organizers at this restaurant. I would like to compliment the kitchen and all the staff (which I also complimented the managers after dinner) for the quality and deliciousness of the food and the service. I recommend this restaurant. I really enjoyed the dinner, which, for me, as a non-vegetarian, was truly satisfying. I highly recommend this restaurant.

17/04/2026: Food, service, and ambiance deserve a 4-star rating. I can't say otherwise! The food is fresh and made to order. To achieve excellence and earn an extra star, I'd recommend using egg and not cream in the carbonara. The same goes for the amatriciana: less tomato and more guanciale. Also, lower the price of water, as it comes in carafes and not sealed bottles. I recommend it!

09/04/2026: I was drawn in by the excellent reviews, but I was very disappointed. Extremely touristy. The peasant appetizer consisted of just a slice of prosciutto and two bruschettas. When the sausages arrived, I was disappointed...only two. The torta al testo was very hard and small.

29/03/2026: The food was absolutely delicious. It was probably the best food I have had in months and I try a lot of different foods. The service was absolutely fantastic the waiters gave us water immediately and bread immediately, and they brought us our food within minutes. And finally the atmosphere. I can’t even describe how amazing it was, it was so delicious and scrumptious. I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area.

05/01/2026: We originally came to Charlie’s looking for pizza but accidentally arrived too early to get pizza. Regardless it was amazing, the vegetable soup was perfect for a cold day. My sister who has celiac, often making it difficult to find an enjoyable dining experience, was met with many options on the menu. She was even given gluten free crackers as an alternative for the bread the rest of us were given. We had many restrictions in our party aside from the celiac, including nut allergies and a vegetarian diet, all of which were accommodated to. The wine and espresso were both amazing and had great flavor. The service was excellent and our server was patient with us, providing us insight on the menu in English. This is most definitely somewhere I would recommend.

03/04/2026: I visited this rustic restaurant near Amelia during a work break, and I must say that my expectations (already high based on the stories of those who took me there) were fully confirmed. The location is along a highway, with limited parking, but with a little luck and patience, you can find parking even along the highway. The restaurant's interior is spacious and welcoming, with carefully crafted rustic furnishings that create a pleasant atmosphere and reflect the restaurant's upcoming menu. In addition to the menu, a blackboard with the daily specials is also displayed, a sign of a cuisine that pays attention to seasonality. I started my dinner with an excellent hand-sliced ​​local ham, followed by some excellent ciriole al pomodoro, a typical local dish. Side dishes included sautéed chicory and French fries, and it all ended with some delicious tozzetti, so good that I ordered a portion to take home. It goes without saying that the main dishes at this restaurant are all meat-based. The wait staff is quick, friendly, and above all, skilled at managing the many customers who frequent the restaurant. Good value for money, reservations recommended. An authentic place, congratulations.

25/03/2026: My wife and I had the opportunity to have lunch at this typical family-run restaurant. An excellent ricotta and black truffle flan was worthy of being followed by a wonderful plate of strangozzi alla spoletina. Both plates came back empty and clean, due to having to mop up the sauce. We'll definitely be back.

10/04/2026: Giuseppe, Alessio, and team are incredibly hospitable and warm. Food is excellent. Love the charcuterie boards are TDF. The wine selection is immensely varied and superbly curated. The views of San Fortunato are breathtaking. A must visit when in Todi. Sitting outside during the warmer months is an experience.

24/03/2026: Overall, a pleasant place, with reasonable prices. The wine cellar isn't extensive, but it's carefully curated and stocks some very respectable labels. The atmosphere is informal and somewhat South Tyrolean. The cuisine, overall, is in keeping with the spirit of the place.

12/04/2026: During our short Easter break in Orvieto, my wife and I dined at this restaurant, and we were so thrilled we returned the next evening! The owner offered a warm and friendly welcome, and the menu was extensive and inviting, including many grilled specialties, available in the dining room, as well as tasty appetizers and excellent first courses, including truffles. Mrs. Maria Francesca kindly guided us through the selection of delicious and delicious dishes, providing excellent recommendations. We truly enjoyed our meal. We highly recommend it!

04/04/2026: Good food, top-quality ingredients. Shame about the service. The wait was ridiculous. We came in at 8:30 PM and left at 11:00 PM for a two-course dinner. We mentioned this to the owner and she told us she's been in the business for 50 years. A little more humility is needed in life... Excellent value for money. The place has all the makings of a 5-star restaurant, but it's a shame about the service. I don't know if I'll be back.

03/01/2026: How was the food? So bad that we went back two days in a row (the second day specifically). We were served excellently, with professionalism, courtesy, and that touch of friendliness that never hurts, in a lovely place, with a gorgeous dining room... so much so that my 4-year-old son Leo wanted to come back. The quality of the food... I hope calling it excellent isn't an understatement... the platter, mentioned by someone who can't remember the name, considered insufficient, was of excellent quality with genuine, traditional products at a fair price... not to mention the rest: pasta alla Norcina, eggplant parmigiana, gnocchi with wild boar, grandma's egg, and the tagliatelle with both ragù and mushrooms, which my son devoured. Not to mention the desserts... so if you have the courage not to call this a super excellent restaurant... I would recommend... McD.

02/01/2026: The typical dishes are all delicious, with just the right portions (not too much, not too little), and the atmosphere is rustic, romantic, and even intimate/cozy, and I'd say comfortable. Quick and friendly service, family-run, with not a single detail out of place, and attention to customer service, empathy, and a willingness to engage in conversation. The price is more than fair—in fact, I'd say convenient. I'm attaching the receipt so it's clear that this isn't just my perception, but the reality of the facts. The platter I've pictured was full of typical, strictly local products, carefully arranged, beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. We'll definitely be back, and I recommend booking because there are only a few seats (about 40, I'd say). Note for those with pets: I've noticed that dogs are welcome. Be careful, don't be put off by the negative reviews; they're all from years ago and certainly refer to previous management, given that the current one has been open for less than two years.
