It's a wonderful place made up of exceptional and special people. Incredible elements and synergies of flavor are the best you could wish for. All these elements are brought to life by the heart and soul of the incredible and incredibly talented Patron Chef Katia Trippanera. She possesses an absolute, top-notch technique that allows her to work the ingredients like very few others, resulting in dishes that are beyond unique and incredibly flavorful, but above all...simple. Her management is a tribute to patience and quality: here, service is entirely express, meaning every dish is created the moment you order it. The expertly crafted ingredients, beyond perfection, blend seamlessly with the highest-quality raw materials, used with incredible skill. The dishes intoxicate the palate and the senses...everything is a caress for the soul. The cooking of the ingredients is sublime. 05/05/2026: Yesterday we had the pleasure of lunch at Ristorante Montenero, a true gem in the Amelia countryside, which this year celebrates an extraordinary milestone: 100 years in business, since 1926. A family-run trattoria that has successfully reinvented itself in its hospitality without ever betraying its soul: that of authentic Umbrian tradition. Dishes that tell a story of authentic flavors and passion, such as the hearty and authentic handmade fettuccine with ragù, game, pan-fried chicken, stewed mutton, and coratella (a kind of lamb cutlet). All prepared with local produce and the highest-quality ingredients. But beyond the cuisine, what truly strikes you is the atmosphere: a warm, family-friendly environment where you immediately feel at home. One of those rare places that still retains the profound sense of time-honored hospitality. My sincere congratulations to the entire staff for preserving and passing on such an important tradition. 09/05/2026: We booked for just one night, the place is beautiful. We ate there for dinner, the menu was varied and delicious, and the breakfast was plentiful and varied. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the owner was also a kindhearted man. I would return again. Thank you for everything.

27/04/2026: Good morning, I first arrived in 1992, then returned in 1993, then briefly in the early 2000s. Twenty years later, I returned with my entire family and found the hospitality to have grown exponentially; it was much more organized and captivating. It has certainly lost its initial spontaneity, the naturalness derived from the landscape and its agricultural vocation. But overall, it's still a "place of the heart," where affection and nostalgia lose their identity, blending together, leaving a great void when it's time to return to daily life! Kudos to those who care for this place, those who hold the fortunes of this "borgo" farm in their hands. 08/04/2026: We stayed for one night, it was a very good experience. I really can't complain about anything. The castle is such a cool location. And the food was extraordinary! We got the 5-course-menu. It was the best food we got during the whole vacation. They also pay attention to allergies or food preferences (like vegetarian or gluten free). As for the breakfast, there are so many choices. You can really feel that they still make an effort.

25/05/2026: The best restaurant I've tried in recent times!!! A very warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, and appetizers and main courses unlike anything I've had in years!!! The quality and freshness of the ingredients used make the dishes delicious. I highly recommend the egg with fresh fava beans and the goat cheese as an appetizer. Needless to say: highly recommended!!!

03/06/2026: A restaurant in the center of Trevi that perfectly follows tradition, serving typical dishes that celebrate the village celery festival. My family and I went to eat here. From the very beginning, the restaurant appeared well-kept and well-maintained, featuring several rooms with vaulted ceilings and stonework, all historic. I personally tried a warm tart as an appetizer, a truffle tortellino, and a stuffed pigeon. Obviously, everything was delicious, but the friendliness of the staff also made the evening enjoyable. We recommend it!

31/05/2026: We had lunch at the end of May at this lovely tavern in this charming village. We're a couple. An appetizer of asparagus and egg, white lasagna, strangozzi with summer truffle, and millefeuille. Everything was truly excellent, with one small complaint: some of the asparagus stalks were a bit too "tough." The first courses arrived a bit too late. But we're really talking about the details. If I could give it a rating, it'd be just under 5, but the friendliness and kindness of the waiters bring it back to the top. In short, a highly recommended place that takes care of its customers even on holidays and where the quality is high. Good!

16/05/2026: A treat in the center of Gubbio. We ate excellent food in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful; they even went to get us gloves because it was pouring with rain and we were on our motorcycles. If you want to eat well in a peaceful setting, this is the place.

I understand the overcrowding of the day but the waiter was really rude in responding to the customer in this manner.
