A classic unpretentious trattoria with traditional food. Just had a lovely dinner, with Tortellini in Brodo and Cinghiale. The whole place smelled of good food cooking and the meal lived up to this. The owner and waittress were friendly in a normal way- not over promoting for tourists. I really enjoyed it and would come regularly if I lived near here.

We discovered it by chance. The food is very good, you feel at home, the prices are fair, and the staff are very friendly. Excellent wine.

Finally, after many stays in Perugia, I managed to eat at Bottega dei Priori. It was a fantastic experience! Besides the courtesy and friendliness of the owners, the food was excellent; compliments to the owner, a talented chef. I recommend everyone to try the wild boar. The egg with truffle was excellent. The first courses were excellent; I even heard compliments from the other very satisfied diners. We will return with our eyes closed. A great discovery. A real "hole" with a few tables where, with luck, you can find a table because the food is excellent.
The care taken to notify customers outside that the place is full is remarkable, thus avoiding unnecessary attempts to sneak in, because every time the door is opened, the place cools down.

Bottega dei Priori quickly became my go-to place since I moved next door. An authentic, warm, and welcoming place in the heart of Via dei Priori.
The cuisine is excellent: authentic Umbrian dishes, local ingredients, and simple flavors crafted to perfection. You can taste the care and respect for tradition.
A special thanks to Vittorio, the owner: impeccable service, genuine kindness, and a passion for what he does. He makes you feel at home every time.
A little neighborhood gem that's definitely worth a visit.
