29/05/2024: The burgers are excellent: excellent meat and perfect crunchy bread. The open kitchen and the use of fresh vegetables are a guarantee of quality and transparency. The owners are delightful people and always very punctual in respecting the agreed times, both for takeaway and for consumption on site. The place is a small pearl of the city: absolutely worth trying Highly recommended and highly recommended!

The selection of local wines is excellent and well curated, perfect for accompanying genuine and tasty dishes such as cured meats, cheeses and other regional specialities. Ideal for those looking for an authentic and relaxed experience. Impeccable service, with attentive and passionate staff. A place that is definitely worth a visit!

17/11/2024: The place was recommended to me. I was very pleased to find and be able to try the foods I had heard so much about, such as tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and truffles. Added to the excellent cuisine, which I highly recommend, is the courtesy of all the staff in a simple location with warm colours. I thank you for everything.

07/11/2024: We stayed at this farmhouse during our last stage of the journey, and what better welcome! Simona and all the staff proved to be immediately available and accommodating. Following a small water problem that they themselves reported to us, they immediately provided an ever better solution at the property. Being also slightly at the entrance of Baschi they were very kind in accompanying us to the village by car to visit the village. Dinner was also excellent! Really recommended!

08/11/2024: Found by chance but an absolutely unmissable stop. Very rich starter with excellent local cured meats and cheeses. The omelette with truffle is delicious. The ravioli with saffron and truffle are unforgettable. Friendly service and always with a smile. Really honest prices. What more could you ask for?

09/12/2024: I can only speak highly of this restaurant. I organized a lunch with my colleagues for a day dear to us. When I asked for availability for Saturday lunch, I hadn't read that they were closed. The manager was so helpful and kind that he opened the restaurant for us for that occasion. During the organization phase, he proposed me a complete menu of starter, 2 first courses, 2 second courses with side dishes, dessert, wine, water, coffee as well as the menu for the children present. Everything was really delicious, so much so that many of us had an encore of everything. We were a nice group and the service was impeccable, we were all served together, no one had to wait and the times between one meal and another were perfect.

01/12/2024: I found myself in that place visiting relatives, recommended by them we booked, According to them in the summer period it is great, but in the winter period they are a bit sinful, fettuccine with mushrooms disappointing too far ahead cooking watery mushrooms definitely frozen, portion of vegetables meager for the cost, service to improve. I will return to see if it has improved.

27/11/2024: Obligatory premise: the writer is 180 cm tall and weighs 120 kg and has no allergies other than fasting... so I speak from full knowledge of the facts.... An apparently anonymous restaurant from the outside it appears very similar to many restaurants in the area where typical local cuisine is offered, sometimes good and sometimes less so, but entering Bottaccione opens up a different world. Inside there is a small but extremely welcoming place, few frills but a lot of substance. The service is excellent and the cuisine is nothing short of amazing, I'm certainly not going to recommend particular dishes because the menu is constantly changing and tastes are extremely subjective but what we ate... and we ate a lot.... it was all delicious from the appetizers to the wine in the carafe... upon leaving I couldn't help but hug and thank the lady in the kitchen. Last surprise, the truly competitive price alone makes it worth driving a few extra kilometers.

26/08/2024: We had lunch outside, under a well-kept canopy with an inviting atmosphere, but I could also see the inside, well furnished and elegant. Efficient service (especially from the two owner brothers). There are different tasting menu options: you can choose the courses or rely on them, with the option of a menu entirely based on truffles or without. I found the starter delicious, fresh ingredients and particular combinations. The first and second courses were no different either. Very honest prices also considering that these were truffle-based dishes (and it was present in large quantities). Wear not minimal at all, on the contrary!

13/10/2024: It's a shame it's temporarily closed. I'm currently on a bike tour from Cologne to Naples and really wanted to take a 50km detour to eat my first ice cream in Italy there. Then unfortunately I had to read yesterday that it was closed. Well, there's nothing you can do... but I'm still giving it 5 stars as a thank you for the many great hours of watching films while I had to wait for the Christ child or the Easter bunny. Greetings from my tour.

05/10/2024: Really bad disappointment! Only one star - actually none because we were so disappointed! A childhood hero would have become tangible and we were so happy - we googled the opening times beforehand and read the reviews: 3 days earlier someone was happy about the delicious ice cream. We were so happy too! We came from Germany and walked to the ice cream parlor in the pouring rain only to find ourselves standing in front of the locked door. It still says on the internet that the ice cream parlor is open - thank you very much for nothing! According to Google, the opening times were updated by the company a few weeks earlier - yes, as I said, thanks for nothing! Drove several thousand kilometers and was hugely disappointed! Why is it so difficult to update the opening hours correctly on the website???? Very disappointing, we will definitely not come here again and will NOT recommend it!

27/08/2024: splendid farmhouse located in the green heart of Umbria. Luca and Matteo welcomed us hospitable and very friendly, a priceless kindness... in the evening we also had the pleasure of meeting Martina. Everything was perfect, location, cuisine and wonderful places... we will definitely be back!!!
