18/04/2026: I only went for lunch; I didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the rooms. Price-fixe menu for €40. A generous buffet of appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, two side dishes, and three desserts. Masterful cuisine. A paradise for the palate. Definitely recommended! The best place I've ever eaten. Compliments to everyone! Also to the courteous, friendly, and competent staff.

12/04/2026: As Giorgione told us, the appetizer is a buffet. When you don't want any more, just let me know and we'll start with the first courses. Keep quiet and eat whatever you get, making sure you don't leave anything left! 🤣 We did well with the appetizer buffet and didn't overdo it (two rounds of a full plate, the boiled tongue was amazing). We enjoyed the first courses, the second courses, and the trio of desserts. We were full and happy. Their food is very simple but incredibly delicious. Thanks for the evening

28/03/2026: We had dinner two nights during a short three-day stay on Lake Trasimeno. The place was super welcoming, the owner was incredibly kind and helpful. The food...fantastic!!! The portions were just right considering the excellent quality of the cuisine. From fish to meat, from wine to dessert...everything satisfied our taste buds, with a special mention for the stuffed escarole, a Campanian dish that I adore! We'll be returning to Lake Trasimeno, and our regular stop will be Il Pod' di Domenico!

12/01/2026: Wonderful, fresh pizza, either traditional "al taglio" or round restaurant-style made to order. Don't feel like having pizza? They also have homemade pasta dishes and salads, along with chicken wings and on special days, the best porchetta in the region. They have a great outdoor eating area for people-watching and an intimate indoor space if the weather is inclement. Highly recommended.

01/05/2026: We went out for a family outing and stopped for a sandwich. The guy who served us convinced my daughter, who was refusing to eat, to try the porchetta. Well! She ate a whole sandwich, how wonderful. Thanks, everything was delicious.

This osteria is an absolute temple of pure, traditional Umbrian cuisine, the kind of cuisine that has been passed down through generations—TRUE cuisine. It's a wonderful place, staffed by exceptional and special people. Incredible elements and flavor combinations are the best you could wish for. All these elements are brought to life by the heart and soul of the incredible and talented Chef and owner. He possesses an absolute, top-notch technique that allows him to craft ingredients like very few others, resulting in dishes that are beyond unique and incredibly flavorful. For the owner-chef, perfection is a fundamental concept, and he strives to surpass it, ALWAYS. The expertly crafted ingredients, beyond perfection, blend seamlessly with the highest-quality raw materials, used with incredible skill. The dishes intoxicate the palate and the senses...everything is a caress for the soul. The ingredients were cooked sublimely. A tip: Umbricoli with Reggiano and black truffle. I have NEVER eaten better Umbricoli in my life! Here, the cuisine and drink, rigorously traditional, are a true art, a journey through sight, smell, and taste, but above all through the feelings and emotions that the Chef, preparing dishes unlike any other, evokes in those who enjoy them. 21/02/2026: Very excellent food but unfortunately there was no expert in the dining room, because they served us a bitter type Amaro del Capo instead of grappa and insisted that it was grappa....otherwise everything was very good!

12/04/2026: The menu offers an excellent selection of dishes, and the quality is undoubtedly high, but I don't think I'll ever return. We ordered a Chianina burger for the kids, which, according to the menu, included a bun with: hamburger, stracciatella, broccoli rabe, and fries. When ordering, I specifically asked not to serve it in bread, but to bring everything else to the plate. Instead, only the burger and fries arrived at the table (without stracciatella or broccoli rabe). I didn't have the plate returned so as not to make the kids wait any longer, believing the mistake would be taken into account when it came to the bill. Unfortunately, I was wrong. When we went to the cashier, we were charged in full for the dish. I pointed out the missing ingredients to the person I believe to be the owner, but he sternly told me the price wouldn't change. I told him I didn't think this was appropriate, and he responded by handing me the POS terminal and brusquely repeating the price. I paid and left, certain I'll never return. It's not enough to know how to cook meat well if you then treat your customers with such arrogance.

15/01/2026: Just had dinner with one of their "recommended" dishes. Simply superb! Kudos to the food, the service, and, last but not least, the venue—just the right amount of modernity, yet always welcoming!
