31/07/2025: Una facile camminata di circa 1h ti porta in questa "culla di estrema gentilezza" del personale di sala e benessere delle papille gustative. Un ambiente curato, una cucina di qualità e varia non possono che spingermi a consigliare a tutti una sosta in questo rifugio che, tra l'altro, non potrà che lasciarvi stupiti per il panorama che lo circonda.

29/07/2025: One of the 10 refuges with the most beautiful views in Europe, the Laresei refuge, at 2,260 meters, is also a place where you can experience friendship and smiles. The owners, Max & Mara, are extraordinary, and have also made this refuge a place where you can enjoy food and wine experiences: you eat excellently and enjoy a unique view! Also spectacular are the tagliatelle with fresh chanterelles, the wild spinach tortelli, and the gnocchi with puzzone cheese... and then finish with the exceptional homemade tiramisu. Bravo Massimo, an extraordinary experience.

08/08/2025: Excellent and hearty traditional Trentino dishes at super reasonable prices. Plus, they're very hospitable. We're so happy we found them, and we loved them!

09/08/2025: Opening the door felt like entering a cave. The first thing I noticed was a musty smell (there are no windows and the room is dark, but it's lit artificially with candles). The food had very high points (their carbonara and cheesecake) and others were just okay. For the final price, I would have liked to have been more pampered. It's nice that there's a vegetarian restaurant even in places where meat reigns supreme.

09/08/2025: Wonderful! Vegan-only and refined dishes. It's definitely not among the cheapest, but it's worth every penny. The location is also amazing; the interior is beautiful. I'll post a couple of photos. We've been there twice during the holidays in different years, and we were very satisfied both times. GO Vegan ❤️

10/08/2025: 6-star hotel with 3-star service The Hotel LeFay in Pinzolo was recommended to us by our daughter, who described it as a "paradise in the Dolomites," a place where she could forget all the worldly worries (which the world has showered upon us in abundance in recent years) and dedicate herself to meditation and eternity. Our daughter is never wrong, so we decided to stay at the LeFay for a week to escape the unbearable heat of Roman August. Our first impression, when we were shown our room, could be described as something between ecstasy and amazement: an unusually beautiful designer room, tastefully furnished and designed down to the smallest detail, combining breathtaking views of the Alpine peaks from the windows with traditional Northern Italian motifs in the decorations, giving the room a welcoming atmosphere and an inexhaustible desire to never leave. It must be said that this welcoming atmosphere, refined taste, and understated creativity characterize the design of the entire hotel, from the reception to the spa and gym. I think I'm right in saying that this was the most artistically designed hotel we've ever stayed in. Kudos and admiration to the architects, designers, and builders of this hotel: it has become a dominant feature of all of Pinzolo. But, trying to be honest in my assessments, I can't help but mention the flaws. While the hotel is commendable in terms of architecture, design, and attention to detail, it is truly mediocre in its level of service. It seems that during the high season (we were there in early August), the hotel management hastily hired non-professionals to "fill the gaps" in customer service. In order: 1. Dear hotel management, please make navigation between the hotel buildings more or less clear. Not to mention that the floor numbers in one building don't match those in another (you have to take an elevator to floor 3 only to, to your surprise, find yourself on floor 0 in another elevator), there are no signs indicating how to get to reception. As a result, on our first day, we got lost among the buildings and had to ask a hotel employee we'd met for directions. When we finally figured out how to get to the right floor, we saw two other guests calling on the phone, trying to figure out where they were, so they could get directions to reception. 2. Dear hotel management, please send your most disheartened employees to courses where they can explain that nothing is as cheap and doesn't cost as much as a smile to a guest. The expression on some waiters' faces when they bring you coffee is something more than "these annoying guests still want something from us" that I can't describe. 3. For the first time in my life, probably in a 5-star hotel, every time I needed to ask for something at the front desk, I had to stand in line with 2-3 people and wait 10-15 minutes. It seems to me that a hotel that charges up to €1,000 a night for a room should be able to hire 2-3 more employees to solve this problem. 3. Speaking of coffee. I understand that coffee isn't as obsessive in northern Italy as it is in central or southern Italy, but upgrading the coffee machine and purchasing regular beans isn't a huge expense compared to the disappointment low-quality coffee brings to your guests. Believe me, a hotel of your caliber deserves better coffee than the one you currently serve. Overall, I hope the management manages to raise the bar on service to match the design and furnishings, and then, without a doubt, the Lefay will become the best hotel in Trentino, and perhaps in all of Italy. 02/08/2025: We stayed at Lefay for one night as we were making our way into South Tyrol to see some of the epic Dolomites. The views are of surrounding mountains and a valley overlooking a town. Pretty. The architecture and vibe of the resort is very nice and impressive. Staff were wonderful, Julia the concierge was friendly and helped us get acquainted with the resort. Great restaurant and food! We enjoyed our stay but were looking forward to moving on to getting into the higher peaks and more quintessential Dolomites.

04/08/2025: GREAT FOOD, GREAT WINE. Dined out here with a friend. As it was a Friday we had a 5-course fish tasting menu for 45 Euro - no hidden costs, beverages included. The quality of the food, service, presentation and wine (one matches all courses) were excellent. During the week Casa del Vino does not offer a full menu but rather a choice of dishes (say, 2 appetizers, two first courses, two second courses and a few desserts). This ensures all dishes are made with fresh ingredients and impeccably prepared. The place is not casual, but not formal either, a great choice if you want to treat yourselves. There are gluten-free options/alternatives.

02/08/2025: Despite being a restaurant specializing in local wine, a very interesting initiative, the glasses of wine are not labeled with the quantity: typically 1 dl/2 dl. They are therefore served at the waiter's discretion.

26/07/2025: Very nice service, they speak English very well, they are very helpful, they really know their wines. The atmosphere is very pleasant.

18/08/2025: Nothing to say, beautiful, comfortable, the food is excellent, the staff is excellent, and you spend very little... Minimum expense, maximum return!

16/08/2025: One of the best experiences in the last few months. Excellent food, excellent potato tortel. Outside with a lawn and playground. Worth a visit even if it's a bit out of the way.

12/08/2025: We stopped for lunch. I'd say the place is very nice. The cuisine is typical of Trentino. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The price is average.

10/08/2025: Stop at Ostaria Tyrol and have lunch there was an excellent idea. They don’t make reservations so you just have to walk in there and ask for a table. The waiter was so kind with us and the food was delicious, specially the parpadelle and the strudell

29/06/2025: Refuge and food quality nothing to say. Service not suitable for the amount of people present at lunch. First course ordered and not brought, requested twice but nothing, I did not eat, same for dessert...at least the others ate with me and I tasted their dishes... At the cashier no apologies but empathy is requested, well...maybe when you make a mistake it is enough to apologize. (but they give a 10% discount...) Therefore I cannot leave more than 2 stars, only for the service and the ways of doing things.

18/07/2025: Colloco questa esperienza tra le mie top 3, e ne frequento di ristoranti. Locale di cucina slow food che esalta i suoi piatti sfruttando le erbe raccolte localmente. Ho preso spatzle con ragù bianco dj vitellone ( eccezionali ), un piatto di zucchine condite con erbe e un sughetto saporitissimo. Ho chiuso con una mousse al cioccolato bianco con sopra una granitina di sedano, con sopra altro sedano caramellato. Una vera goduria. Quando finisci un piatto e i sapori rimango nel palato, significa che i piatti sono favolosi.

03/07/2025: Attesa lunghissima. Sinceramente siamo rimasti delusi della cena. Ottima presentazione dei piatti ed anche qualitativamente ma porzioni veramente misere. Molta apparenza ma poca sostanza. Prezzo alto per ciò che viene offerto. Nella zona ci sono molti altri locali che offrono di più in tutti i sensi. Non pensiamo di ritornarci

27/07/2025: We've been here twice, for lunch and dinner. The staff were very friendly and the food was truly exceptional. We had the meat for lunch, and it was truly top-quality. In the evening, we had the pizzas, and they were amazing. It's been a long time since I've had such a good pizza.

18/07/2025: Nice pizzeria and restaurant in Levico. The place offers indoor and outdoor seating. The service is fast and attentive. There's a good selection of crispy pizzas. Prices are moderately high. They have a good selection of beers. At the end of the meal, the owners offered us a limoncello.

21/06/2025: Very beautiful and quiet location. Wonderful terrace with a canopy of leaves. The dishes are prepared with love. Very good. Service was very friendly. We would be happy to come back.

26/07/2025: Centrally located in Riva's old town, we had saved the Bella Napoli for the last day of our stay. Without a reservation, we had to wait in line for about half an hour – in a small alleyway to the side of the restaurant. In our defense, we should note that not all seats were taken that evening due to the rather unsettled weather. We were then kindly shown to our seats. The service was prompt and in German. The drinks were delivered promptly, and the pizza was ready at our table after about 15 minutes. It tasted very tasty, if not outstanding. It was a bit too thin and slightly soggy in the center. But there's no accounting for taste. The turning point came during the meal. The slightly rainy weather turned into a storm with hail. The tables were pushed even closer together, and the chairs were moved under the large umbrella. The staff distributed blankets and did everything possible to ensure the guests' comfort. Thank you so much for that, that alone deserves 5 stars. After the storm had calmed down a bit, we decided to finish off with a delicious tiramisu. All in all, a classic Italian restaurant with good food and outstanding service!
