23/06/2026: Andrea, the proprietor of this restaurant, is truly in a class all of his own. This meal felt like visiting a long lost relative, and being invited into their home. The food was absolutely delicious – my son even went so far to say it was the best pizza he had had an all of Italy! The passion that Andrea has in the procurement of local ingredients and having personal relationships with each of the vineyards on his menu was moving and made this experience all the more heartfelt. Aside from the fantastic service, delicious preparations, lovely interior, perfect wine pairings, and prime location close to where we were staying ( the HI hotel ), I would say it was worth visiting Bouganville just for the opportunity to talk to Andrea as he is such an incredible person and has such a great story to tell. This was one of the last meals we had in Italy before returning home. If there’s anything I can say that I learned from our many meals across this beautiful country, it’s that each meal should be taken slowly and enjoyed not only in taste, but in soaking the atmosphere. Many of the restauranteurs and those that work at their establishments are so proud to serve and be part of your day. Ask questions, be humble, try to learn a few polite phrases in the language of wherever you are visiting. Don’t bring your own ideals and sensibilities to the places you travel, but allow these places to shape you and imprint themselves upon you. As they say, don’t be a tourist, be a traveler. And make sure to ask Andrea about the best wine to go with your meal.

07/07/2026: Their dough is good but the toppings especially the out of season vegtables don't taste like anything. Overall did not live up to the hype or pricepoint. You can find better in town for half the price

20/06/2026: Amazing stop on the way into the Dolomites! Food was great, and the views were outstanding. Menu was very tasty and had a lot of options that were different from the normal fare. We were one of the last seatings at lunch but the staff never made us feel rushed. The drive in is very windy, be prepared!

18/06/2026: A great place. We enjoyed a wonderful (choice-of-course) 4-course lunch, at a pleasant pace and accompanied by the beautiful views of the valley. Absolutely do not miss it if you are in the area.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the view of the peaks makes it all worthwhile. Thanks to Jessica and her staff: professional, kind, and always smiling. You can see the passion in what they do, and they make you feel right at home. The cuisine is excellent: traditional, authentic, and plentiful. A place where you can truly unwind. Congratulations, I'll definitely be back.

20/06/2026: Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, large inside, large outside terrace, very well-kept atmosphere, friendly staff, beautiful view... The food is excellent! Local dishes and more... Served quickly! Certainly a strategic point for a stop between one descent and another... Excellent!

14/07/2026: This lovely restaurant was recommended to me by... Google, as the closest to the B&B where I'm staying. Unable to walk to the city center due to a storm, I looked for a place nearby that I could drive to (it's three minutes away) without having to worry about parking. I was pleasantly surprised by the courtesy of the young woman who welcomed me. I ordered a tagliata with arugula and parmesan. Excellent. I will definitely return on my next stay in Trento.

11/07/2026: A welcoming place with soft, pleasant music, excellent cuisine made with quality ingredients: an appetizer with melt-in-your-mouth cured meats, incredibly soft and flavorful strozzapreti, and a pizza with a light crust and generous toppings. Finally, the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. Highly recommended! 😊

21/05/2026: We've stayed at this hotel several times now and always love coming back. It's truly beautiful – stylishly furnished, very well-maintained, and in a fantastic location near the lake and the old town. We're particularly impressed each time by the spa area with its sauna, pool, and numerous relaxation options. The outdoor pool is also simply wonderful and perfect for unwinding. The entire ambiance is special, and you immediately feel at ease. The staff is friendly, and the hotel is very pleasant and quiet overall. On the downside, the prices unfortunately increase significantly year after year. Nevertheless, we treat ourselves to a stay here again and again because the hotel is simply something special, and we always feel very comfortable there. The parking situation is a bit limited.
