14/06/2025: Mind-blowing location and ambience, very pleasant design and rooms. The service is sometimes a bit on the slower side e.g. literally 15 min to get a car from the parking lot - every time 😴 Great wine selection but poor cocktails and hopelessly bad coffee. Local competition has proper flat white, chemex etc and here even doppio is barely drinkable. Not a dealbreaker considering the location and views but could definitely be fixed

12/06/2025: A quantum leap into relaxation and dopamine energy flow.👌 The outdoor heated pool with mountains and valley view is just awesome. The surrounding territory is not as big as the one at Lefay Resort on Garda Lake, but this is well compensated by skiing in Dolomites.

02/06/2025: Two guys from Milan opened and run this vegan restaurant in Val di Sole, the only one in the valley and a rare example in Trentino/Alto Adige. Few dishes on the menu and no off-menu, all expertly prepared, you can see that there is a lot of research behind it. The carbonara and the peanut cheesecake are truly exceptional. Very typical and well-kept location.

05/05/2025: My absolute favorite place in the whole valley! Amazing food, studied with care and love in every detail. New flavors even for me who have been going to vegan restaurants for many years. Really tasty dishes for all types of palates, I was there with omnivorous friends who often ask me to come back! Well done, good, good

17/05/2025: Under new management, the San Colombano restaurant in Rovereto has introduced Indian cuisine, and I can say without exaggeration that it is the best I have ever tasted! Authentic dishes, intense and perfectly balanced flavors, all in a welcoming and well-kept environment. A perfect mix of tradition and innovation: I will definitely be back!

Intimate and refined atmosphere, the staff is very courteous and the dishes offered are refined, high quality and of excellent flavor. Even the plating is taken care of in every detail. 04/06/2025: The service is what it is. We ordered a plate of sautéed potatoes and received one of baked potatoes. We ordered a plate with cabbage, presented with radicchio. The wine in bulk is of poor quality. I will skip over the pizza but one that cost 9 euros a short time ago now costs 14. The prices have increased by about 60 percent in three years and are absolutely not proportionate to the quality which is really low. Furthermore, there is great confusion and chaos. I note the general tendency towards an increase in prices and a worsening of both service and quality. I will definitely not return here or to other places in the area whose tendency is now the same.

27/04/2025: Super good food and the service is great. We ordered the first main course to share, they’ve even split the plates for us. The second main course with Ribs sous vide was just perfect. The atmosphere is in a cave with wine and music. Love it!

12/05/2025: I too would do as someone who said that they would like not to praise Mr. Luigi and his activity too publicly, but to be honest I really think I have to write my opinion which - from what I read - does not differ from what many other people have already said. I met Mr. Luigi almost 9 months ago, by pure chance and on the recommendation of my cousin's husband. I was looking for a butcher's shop that made sausages like they used to and, to my great surprise, I was catapulted into a world different from the usual butcher's shops. I thought I'd order what I needed and go out but instead...! I listened, enchanted and for I don't know how long, to the story of Mr. Luigi's philosophy, who manages the materials he uses in a totally different way from other butchers and delicatessens. I admired Mr. Luigi, who over the years was able to keep faith with his very particular ideas, resisting many difficulties, because at the beginning few people understood him, but with the support of his family, who had slightly conflicting needs with the long time needed for the business to establish itself. I tasted its various cured meats and discovered preparations with very little salt and lots of flavour. What can I say! For a person used to entering a "normal" shop it was definitely a shock, but extremely pleasant, so much so that I returned several times and I really think I will return as long as Mr. Luigi manages his business. Then, what can I say, I finally discovered one of the few shops - perhaps the only one! - who in the valley makes apple strudel really "like in the old days", like my mother, born in Mezzano, used to make: crazy pasta and not the usual and anonymous greasy and overly sweetened puff pastry, local apples, with little sugar. For me, half a Primier and above all a greedy adorer of old-fashioned strudel (which I can't make at home because I don't have adequate space to roll out the dough), it was another surprise, so I took the strudel for myself and also brought it to a cousin's family. Congratulations, therefore, also to Mrs. Simonetta, who I hope will continue to make many, many strudels for years to come. Then I wouldn't forget the milk grappa! My hometown partner isn't used to alcohol, but that grappa didn't create the slightest "alcoholic" problem for me! Deduction? That was also very well made, with quality products. Of course, you pay a little more for everything, but at least you can taste all the real flavors and you don't end up with a palate ruined by too much salt, too much sugar and too many chemicals! in conclusion, thank you Mr. Luigi and Mrs. Simonetta! Continue like this, also because it seems to me that you have now won over a good number of customers, from the valley and also from outside the valley. See you on my next vacation, we will definitely see each other! I forgot: I will absolutely have to thank my cousin and her husband who introduced me to your business

12/06/2025: Acceptable quality/price ratio, lately the prices have risen considerably. Familiar and discreet atmosphere, very refined in its simplicity, full of history. The variety is not very wide being a typical Trentino trattoria. But everything is excellent, from the giardiniera to the carne salada, perhaps the best I have ever tasted, tender and tasty, you can cut it with a fork!! The apple and amaretti cake, the strudel, the wine and the coffee are good!!!
