14/04/2026: Stunning location and view, with the Dolomites as a backdrop. I had an excellent breakfast. The mountain hut is next to the ski slopes... beautiful, traditional interiors.
09/04/2026: We had lunch here over Easter. It was truly the best. Delicious food, friendly staff, and a stunning view.
We liked it so much we returned on Easter Monday. If we were to return to the area, we would definitely choose this place again.

10/09/2025: Followed the access road from Val Noana. A steady climb, with sometimes challenging but never impossible sections. The route near the waterfall (a spring of very fresh water) is fantastic, where the road follows a section carved into the rock. Read the explanatory signs! Arrival at the refuge in an idyllic setting amidst flat meadows and dense surrounding woods. A warm welcome awaits. Excellent menu (a trio of delicious dumplings and spätzle) enjoyed at outdoor tables. Prices more than match the setting. Before setting off, weather permitting, sit outside, overlooking the valley's sunny meadows, sip a glass of herbal grappa and... meditate!

The staff is very attentive and extremely kind.
The wine selection from the cellar satisfies all palates!

14/06/2026: My family and I had lunch at the restaurant even though we weren't hotel guests. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful, and even took special care of our toddler by sending the child's order in advance. The dishes are delicious, both traditional and contemporary. The restaurant is beautiful, quaint, and modern at the same time, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering incredible views of the Dolomites. I wouldn't call it cheap, but the bill is reasonable for the quality of the ingredients.

The hotel has potential but isn't fully utilized.
The rooms are clean and basic (no amenities like a kettle, mini fridge, etc.)
We tried using the smart TV, but ended up watching a movie on our phone. Let's just say that after a day of hiking and wanting to relax with a movie, it would be nice if everything was working properly.
There's a sauna available for €20 upon reservation.
Basic sweet/savory breakfast.
The receptionist never smiled, not even by mistake.
Let's just say there's room for improvement.

The staff was always super professional, kind, and friendly.
The food was excellent. The place was spotlessly clean throughout.

23/04/2026: We tried three pizzas, and they were DELICIOUS—words can't describe them. The service was also incredible, and the prices were reasonable. I would go back a thousand times.

The hotel is very beautiful and the food is excellent.
29/03/2026: Sunday lunch. We asked if we could have a goulash dish with 1 dumpling, and they happily obliged.
Excellent service. Quick and polite. The place is located right between the slopes, very welcoming. Prices are reasonable.

03/07/2026: Warm and pleasant ambience with personable service. Food fared well: pork tomahawk was incredible - massive and also so tender and well-cooked. The pizzas also looked great although we didn’t have a chance to try any. And one of the few restaurants in San Martino that opens early for dinner (ie. 6pm).

03/08/2025: Impeccable service, the gnocchis were insanely good. The strudel was mouth watering.
Would recommend
