13/06/2025: I would also give it six stars... For me, one of the best restaurants in South Tyrol. Not quite in the league of "Castell," but on a par with "Sissi" and the like. The fresh ideas that Christoph and his team bring to the table here, especially in conjunction with the wonderful wine list (thanks to Michael), are very hard to find in South Tyrol. Excellent value for money. Incredibly attentive service in a beautiful setting, both on the terrace and in the parlor. A Michelin star would certainly be appropriate here.

12/06/2025: I've written quite a few reviews and am still at a loss for what to say about the Blaue Traube in Algund. "Top-class gastronomy" sounds trite. What the young team around Christoph Huber delivers is daring, bold, confident: skillful! It's impossible to describe; you'll have to try it. So: dear Gault Millau and Michelin-starred experts... off to Algund! And book the wine package, because the sommelier is no less creative than the kitchen. I also have to mention the beautiful garden with its wooden terraces; it has a truly wonderful ambiance!

15/07/2025: Anyone who loves cakes and tarts must stop by and order the three-variety cake tasting plate. You'll be rewarded with a very big "mmm." Wally, the boss, bakes her own cake creations every day from 4 a.m. with passion and outstanding knowledge, such as a Crema Catalan cake, a poppy seed and cherry dream, or a delicious pear and walnut cake with cranberries. The nuts, pears, and cranberries are, of course, locally sourced and carefully selected. You can also make these delicacies yourself. Wally has now published three affordable baking books in which she reveals her baking secrets. So, go ahead and enjoy, or make them yourself.

09/07/2025: Das Pyramidencafé und die Kuchen-„Künstlerin“ Frau Tschurtschenthaler sind ein Erlebnis. Viele selbstgebackene Kuchen und Torten, die meisten Gluten frei. Damit einem die Wahl nicht zu schwer fällt kann man einen Teller mit drei halben Stücken bestellen. Die Qualität ist wirklich gut. Am besten hat uns der Maulwurfkuchen (mit Banane) geschmeckt, aber auch die Zitronentorte war extrem gut. Lustig wird es, wenn Frau Tschurtschenthaler ihre Produkte in unnachahmlicher Weise selber vorstellt. Sie hat drei wirklich originelle Backbücher mit ihren Rezepten und Anekdoten aus dem Ort Oberwielenbach verfasst. Unbedingt mal reinschauen. Wir haben ein Exemplar gekauft. Auf der Terrasse haben wir uns bei herrlichem Sommerwetter, freundlichem Service, einer launigen Chefin und sehr leckerem Kuchen richtig wohl gefühlt!

09/06/2025: I discovered this restaurant for my birthday celebration. I was even treated to a glass of sparkling wine. Small restaurant with a modern setting. Pleasant and friendly service. I had the 5-course menu. Good wines at all prices. There was a mistake on the order, and the managers immediately corrected it. Thank you again for this kind gesture. Plenty of free parking outside. No Wi-Fi. A good address.

22/06/2025: We happened to be there by chance and were pleasantly surprised. The pizza was exceptionally delicious! Unfortunately, a noisy scooter occasionally passes by on the road, but otherwise, it was the best pizza between Resia and Lake Garda! Thank you very much.

21/06/2025: Many special features come together here. The location is unique and offers a fantastic view. Next comes the architecture. The hotel is beautiful from the outside, and this continues throughout the interior. Wood and stone are everywhere, beautifully crafted, and beautifully lit at night. The attention to detail is a unique selling point, and I haven't encountered anything like it anywhere else. Everything is in perfect condition, the staff were always friendly, and the food was delicious. A wonderful stay that we will fondly remember for a long time.

17/06/2025: Anyone who knows it goes back again and again. And not just because of Helga's excellent strudel. We used to come back here as children. It makes my heart beat faster; it's where I want to be. Whenever you're there, you know you're in a wonderful place and can enjoy amazing food. The menu is full of food, full of food. THANK YOU

Hervorzuheben sind noch die offenen Weine kleiner Winzer und die sehr gute Weinberatung. Und: sehr gut zu erreichen mit der Vinschger Bahn. Danke!

02/07/2025: The hut is located a little below the gas lift, so there were fewer people there. The panorama is beautiful. The service was very friendly. The food was okay, though the pasta was a bit overcooked.

27/06/2025: Beautiful mountain hut at the end of a relaxing path suitable for children and elderly people that starts from the center of Plan. You can reach the hut in about 1.5 hours. Very kind and smiling staff, we ordered two canederli and a slice of cake. Everything was delicious and high quality. Their house spritz is also interesting! New structure with super clean and modern bathrooms.

04/07/2025: Typical dishes, some revisited but tasty. We tried several dishes and everything was genuine and good, the only note that I feel I must underline, is the quantity of dishes served which in my opinion is reduced compared to the price.
