14/08/2025: We were recommended by the manager of the Hotel Sextum because we arrived late and many restaurants were closed. We weren't sure what to expect, but we were very pleasantly surprised: impeccable service and very accommodating, considering we don't speak Italian. All our dishes were very good and full of flavor, and excellent value for money. We're very happy to be off the Livorno-Florence tourist route!

30/08/2025: Excellent food, perfect breakfast, amazing croissants, and definitely the pastry chef's touch, though I highly doubt he's local. Truly huge and delicious, with a wide selection and reasonable prices. For aperitivo, La Vaga Matta is now a historic spot. It's fair to say that between Pontedera and Fornacette, it's set the standard and led the way, even if it's recently raised its prices. In any case, a must-see for the Valdera area. Well done!

14/08/2025: Nice place, welcoming staff, attentive to the needs of a family. Good food quality. They also offer side dishes and meat in addition to carbohydrates. The price is more than reasonable. The coffee is also good. The pastry shop is worth trying.

15/09/2025: Lots of hype and marketing, but the pizza is good, nothing exceptional, and the prices are very high. The place is nice, and the service is at times super attentive, but there are many flaws that clash with some aspects of the restaurant, which are almost luxury. The bathrooms are falling apart. Some waiters are attentive and polite, others are very rude and impolite. The pizzas are highly romanticized and priced like a high-end gourmet pizzeria. However, the pizza is simply good, nothing more... The two pizzas in the photo had very little tomato sauce and were very dry. For a buffalo mozzarella and a red pizza without mozzarella, it's a bit disappointing... High prices for pizzas, drinks, the service charge of €3 per person, and alternative doughs that add up to €4 per pizza. In short, a bit of a disappointment, especially given all the marketing and hype. It seems like an exaggeration, aimed at selling a good product as if it were something special. Positive note: The dough is normal and the baking process is very good, and you can taste the quality.

03/09/2025: Six of us were there and had a variety of dishes. The pizzas were all very tasty, but the seafood wasn't quite as good. The bruschetta was very tasty, and the wines were all good, too. The atmosphere was a bit noisy due to its proximity to the street, but acceptable. The price was quite expensive, but still okay. For dessert, we had tiramisu, which was really very good.

23/08/2025: Truly beautiful place, with excellent food and a wide selection of wines. We dined inside, away from the chaos of the street, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The ingredients were high-quality and the pizza was truly light. There was a bit of a wait, but considering we were on vacation and it was a Saturday night, it wasn't a problem at all. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Tirrenia. Best regards.

03/08/2025: It's a shame that a winning horse doesn't change. Unfortunately, the menu has changed. Many dishes have been removed. Game is completely absent. Little choice. Mediocre quality. Quantity barely adequate. Prices are ok.

13/08/2025: Terrible service! 😡 A girl sat us at a table and never served us again. We raised our hands to two more waiters, but they didn't serve us either. We finally left. It was a 15-minute wait for nothing.

10/09/2025: I stopped by at the end of August where they were offering limoncello tastings. Too bad you had to buy a bottle first and then they let you taste what you'd bought. ABSURD! I invite the owners to come to Ischia to taste limoncello; they give you bottles of it. You have no business culture, and I was good.

31/08/2025: In Pisa for a trip during our Tuscan vacation (we're from the province of Turin, Pianezza). At this restaurant, besides finding excellent Tuscan specialties, we found exceptional friendliness and hospitality! If we ever go to Pisa again, we'll definitely be back!

24/07/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A small place with great potential Dar Cama is a truly unique pizzeria, different from the usual: they only make pizzas (and stuffed focaccias), but they do them very well. The quality is excellent, the dough is very thin and light, the flavors are varied, and you can customize them a lot. The prices are more than fair, I'd say rare these days. It's a shame there aren't many people, because they definitely deserve more customers: if you love good pizza and want to spend less, this is the place to be! That said, I'd like to point out, in a constructive spirit, a few aspects that could improve the experience: – There's no menu; it's explained verbally. This might be convenient for some, but a menu, even a simple one, would help make a clearer choice. – The bathroom was poorly maintained: the light bulb didn't work, and there were no soap or paper towels. Small things, sure, but important for giving a good overall impression. I'll definitely be back, because the quality of the pizza is excellent, and I hope this place can continue to grow, thanks in part to customer feedback. Go Dar Cama!

13/07/2025: Ho avuto un'ottima esperienza. Servizio preciso, veloce, cordiale. Camerieri e cameriere solari ed educati, alla mano. Mi è stato riferito che anche il titolare sia una persona a modo e molto disponibile. Il ristorante ha un ampio spazio esterno, verde e curato, sembra ricordare i bei agriturismi. C'è anche un mini parco giochi per bambini, che evita che scorrazzino in giro per il ristorante ma restino concentrati in un punto, sotto lo sguardo dei genitori. Passiamo al cibo: Antipasto classico, frittini con prosciutto crudo. Semplice sì, ma di qualità, fritto leggero e prosciutto eccelso. Primo: pappardelle al ragù (ero ospite e non mi sono informato sul tipo di ragù), un classico, ma devo dire di aver avvertito quel qualcosa in più nel piatto che ha nettamente distinto una versione casalinga da una versione di ristorante. Ottime. Il secondo: tagliata di manzo, con grana e rucola, già condita. Superlativa, buonissima, un gran colpo. La mia esperienza è stata perfetta, ma mi sento di dare un piccolo consiglio estetico: i tavoli erano di plastica, grigia, il che non è bello. Credo che dovrebbero coprirli con dei copri tovaglia, anche di carta, perché così è brutto e stona con il bell'ambiente complessivo. A parte questo piccolo neo, il resto è stato perfetto, consigliato!

13/06/2025: Here the situation is bipolar. The location is fantastic and very well cared for families and group dinners. Especially in the summer. A very large and well-equipped garden allows you to forget about the smaller children. A beautiful terrace also allows older children to isolate themselves. The closed spaces are a little narrower. We are not on the food, however. Three times great disappointment both in terms of service times (very slow pizza rotation) and quality (poor ingredients and heavy dough). After yet another so-so classy dinner, and with a bit of a stomach ache 24 hours later... I am writing this review hoping to be an incentive to the young and friendly managers to improve the quality of the service and the attention to the food prepared.

25/07/2025: My husband and I went with high expectations, given how much it had been raved about. The appetizer was 9 mussels thrown into an old aluminum pan for show; the other appetizer had barely any fish, tasteless shrimp, and panzanella with 3 strips of squid. The fried fish was mediocre. The only good course was my calamari all'ortolana. Dessert wasn't homemade. A bottle of wine cost €22. Coffee. All for the modest sum of €120. Poor quality and paltry portions. In my opinion, you've lost all sense of proportion.

23/07/2025: The last time I was here was over 20 years ago. I have to say, everything was truly excellent and well-maintained, exceeding my expectations. I must return more often from now on.
