02/01/2025: We came across this restaurant thanks to the advice of the hotel we stayed in in Matera and supported by the good reviews. Our dinner was very varied, we fortunately tasted different courses and I must say that they were all beautifully presented and always prepared with the same dedication. From the appetizers to the first courses up to the pizza and desserts we found a high level of food quality and cuisine. The very fast service and friendly staff, as well as the location which is truly a little jewel. Really excellent value for money!

28/01/2025: Excellent bar for breakfasts and aperitifs. Garden with outdoor tables. Good brioches and savory dishes, good coffee. Possibility to have lunch with hot and cold express dishes. Honest prices in the average for its category. Possibility of parking along the street. Advised.

09/03/2025: March 8, 2025 Women's Day we had a terrible evening. Starting with the fact that we booked the music department and they put us in the death department, despite having called 3 times. .. they told us it was a party for Albanians, we forgot that we live in Italy. At least when we booked they said so. If we talk about the food, oh my, it's a nightmare, almost all of us left the first courses on the plate and took only those, for fear that the second course would also be disgusting... fish with no flavor and pasta with mushrooms with fish sand inside, spaghetti with clams brought with cooking water and clams added randomly inside... instead of sauce it was rinsed water, absolutely zero flavours. I will never go back, the only positive thing is the very kind waiters... the rest zero stars. It's a shame because the place is beautiful.

06/12/2024: Siamo ritornati in questo ristorante dopo un primo pranzo fatto di recente con altri commensali, ed abbiamo gustato un ottima pizza, ottimi fusilli al ragù di cinta e un'ottima tagliata ai porcini. L'ambiente è piacevole, ampio, con un servizio gentile. Sono in vendita anche ottimi prodotti del circondario.....un buon punto di riferimento...grazie

16/03/2025: We had lunch today in this tavern which caught our attention with the sign shown in the photo boasting a complete menu for 15 euros. It seemed unlikely but plausible for a hospital in a little-known municipality in the middle of the mountains. Once inside and seated we are told that the menu is only for weekdays. Now by law we could have eaten and expected payment as per the price indicated but we wanted to spend a peaceful Sunday and we let it go so the stars went from a potential 4 to 3. In a short time the place filled up, fueling our expectations for an excellent lunch. The starters which on the menu should have cost €9 (charged €12) arrive almost immediately. After that we waited 40 minutes for two first courses. In the meantime we enjoyed the owner's terrible comments about customers who, deceived by the sign, entered and then turned on their heels. Unprofessional comments made in the room with other customers listening not to mention people asked to leave to make room for others. After 40 minutes we were about to leave but these eagerly awaited starters arrive. A big disappointment. The starters were not in large quantities despite the (high) cost but pappardelle with wild boar and ravioli we expected something more abundant but above all really good. They knew nothing. We decided to have our coffee elsewhere just to go away but we also wait to pay, who knows why. Maybe it's lucky that the full menu wasn't offered we would have spent the whole day there. Unlike the other comments, the tavern is beautiful and smacks of history as it should but we won't go back and we don't recommend it. It takes courage to call everyone a liar in the face of evidence. 23/02/2025: 23 February 2025 we ended up in Casciana Terme for a Sunday trip, we booked a table for two. Small, very cozy and welcoming environment. We ordered an appetizer of Penitente and Cinta Senese ham, excellent flavor and taste, combined with a Tuscan DOP bread rich in fragrant wheat germ with an ancient flavour. QFirst we ordered "pici all'Aglione with the trick" revealed to us by the friendly owner complete with video recipe. We gladly recommend it! Giovanna and Enzo

07/03/2025: Excellent pizza, plentiful and quality toppings. Don't miss the focaccias, they deserve it. Focaccia and cecina come naturally. Finally, a not very common characteristic: very punctual.

23/02/2025: Brunch €20 per person, a hotel breakfast in a village location, seems absurd to me. Plus poor food, from the photos it seems anything but. Really not recommended.

11/02/2025: It was really lucky to find a place like this, close to the away venue, where we were able to have lunch for 4 days in a row. A gastronomy with daily variations on the menu, dishes studied and all delicious. We were welcomed very well by the restaurant manager Rebecca and the chef. Tastefully furnished room. Congratulations guys, if I come back to Pisa I will gladly come back and recommend it to my friends! Fair prices and in line with the quality and variety offered.

24/03/2025: We took a takeaway pizza. Pizza neither good nor bad, but with gourmet pizza prices...13 euros for an ortolana...8 euros for a margherita...9 euros for 2 small moretti...30 euros for two takeaway pizzas, perhaps a bit excessive...I understand the low season, but then what are the prices in high season?

19/01/2025: Family-run pizzeria.. informal environment.. lots of choice among the possible pizzas.. they are well seasoned with good products.. truly delicious light dough.. I tried the Davide pizza (mozzarella, bacon and scamorza), which takes its name from the young man and friendly owner, delicious!! Don't forget to get a slice of cake, they're all homemade 😋 See you next time, thanks again

09/03/2025: A very friendly place for a via francigena pilgrim. I ordered a cappuccino and got a gratis heated pastry. Not sure if it is because it's Sunday.

11/10/2024: The Pilgrim Bar was our go-to place every morning for a week for a quick Italian breakfast and once for dinner. The owner is super friendly and warm and strives to ensure the guests' satisfaction. For delicious but cheap sweet and savory food and the first cappuccino of the day, this is the place in Galleno. Also recommended for pilgrims on the Frankenstrasse.

27/02/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante per san valentino ed è stata davvero un ottima cena, il posto è piccolo ma accogliente, il servizio è stato eccellente, veloce e il cameriere ci ha trattato con molta gentilezza spiegandoci bene anche i piatti. Abbiamo ordinato un antipasto e due secondi di carne e si sente la qualità del prodotto, anche i dolci sono da assaggiare. Locale che consiglio vivamente.

09/02/2025: Antipasto misto perfetto. Pasta al pomodoro poco saporita ma valida. Straccetti di manzo discreti ma poco sazianti con insalata. Verdure grigliate discrete. Semifreddo al pistacchio ottimo. Prezzo leggermente alto, buona cortesia staff e tempi di attesa.
