18/05/2025: A wonderful dinner in the heart of Pisa! Hosteria da Fermento is a gem with a truly Tuscan soul. We ordered Chianina beef wrapped in thin, melt-in-your-mouth smoked bacon – heaven on a plate. To this, papardelle with Chianina ragù – perfectly cooked pasta and meat that falls apart in your mouth. Antipasti with local cold cuts is a feast in itself – excellent quality and taste. Wine – delicious, regional, perfectly matched. Service – real added value. The waiter was genuinely advising, friendly and knowledgeable about the cuisine. This is a place you want to come back to. Thank you for an evening full of flavours and atmosphere!

13/05/2025: 25 Aprile, senza prenotazione, Pisa davvero strapiena e molti ristoranti, pur in coppia, ci hanno rifiutato l'ingresso perchè pieni. Per fortuna l'Hosteria da Fermento ci ha salvato la serata con un posto carino, un servizio veloce e cortese, un ottimo tagliere accompagnato dal classico rosso. Serata molto buona, per un posto che chiaramente prenderemo ancora in considerazione.

25/03/2025: For many years I've wanted to go in and browse, after tasting their chocolate ice cream in a pizzeria in Pisa (amazing to say the least), I made up my mind. Kind, knowledgeable and helpful owner, small shop but full of delicacies: chocolate in various shapes, ice cream (only from Easter onwards), biscuits and excellent quality wines. It took me a long time to enter the first time but it will be a regular stop for a cuddle or a valuable gift. Fair prices considering the level. I would add that you are willing to pay when satisfaction is assured.

18/02/2025: As a now almost regular customer, I can only feel very satisfied. The owner is very friendly and always available. In particular, I would recommend the simple Schiacciata and the round pizzas (the dough didn't seem too heavy), while on the dessert front I tasted some biscuits and sweet pieces that I liked. Especially recommended for takeaway, given the little space inside the oven.

06/02/2025: We were passing through and bought a margherita pizza and a tuna roll. Everything was delicious, and the treatment from the owner was very good, a very kind and friendly man. It's close to the Tower of Pisa so you can pick up something and take it there. If we return, we will repeat without a doubt!

03/05/2025: What can I say... when you enter they welcome you (in the true sense of the word) like you welcome a person you love even if you see them for the first time and then they PROUDLY offer you their cutting boards because they are created with 0 km products. What more can I say, go there and come back like I will!!!!!

21/04/2025: Excellent pizzeria in the northern area of ​​Pisa. The pizzas are cooked in a wood oven and the dough is delicious and very digestible. Also not to be forgotten is the size of the pizza which generously overflows the plate. The environment is very informal and the service is prompt and very kind... All at unbeatable prices!

09/05/2025: We had dinner here last night, we were welcomed very warmly and the staff were helpful. good value for money. It's not the place to eat if you're looking for typical Pisan dishes or delicate flavours, however you can still eat well and the pinsa is also good.

09/05/2025: It's close to the railway station, so there are plenty of homeless people there, it's more of a pizza bistro than a restaurant. Service No comments, smiling despite the workload, Piazza is cheap, hmm? The prices are similar everywhere and you have to add an envelope of 2 euros/person. Pizza 6/10: tasty ingredients, lots of them, unfortunately the dough was as hard as Skala and couldn't be cut with a knife. If it weren't for the dough, I would give it a 9. I think that in Poland we can eat much better Italian pizza

28/01/2025: Excellent bar for breakfasts and aperitifs. Garden with outdoor tables. Good brioches and savory dishes, good coffee. Possibility to have lunch with hot and cold express dishes. Honest prices in the average for its category. Possibility of parking along the street. Advised.

10/05/2025: A typical atmosphere (locals, always a good place to eat, and tourists alike), delicious dishes, and friendly service. If you're ever in Pisa, don't hesitate; you won't be disappointed. The best Limoncello Spritz I've ever had. The cheese and charcuterie platter, spaghetti carbonnara, fish carbonnara, wild boar pasta, and tiramisu—everything was delicious.

10/05/2025: The food was very good, but the service was a 3 (two waitresses were doing nothing, and only one young man was working). One of the waitresses was more concerned about the people passing by (friends) and a waiter from the restaurant across the street than the customers. While we were in the restaurant, she went out to smoke every 10 minutes, without exaggerating, and when she wasn't smoking, she was on her phone, either chatting or video chatting. The service was very slow. I give this rating because the guy was very friendly. We wanted to go back the next day, but given the situation, we won't.

08/04/2025: A little place that I would without a doubt recommend to anyone. Excellent dishes (and abundant!) available in the two fixed menus for 15 euros, obviously there is also a wide choice of pizzas which we haven't tried yet but will certainly be the next step😊 Really friendly and kind staff who are the setting for this small pizzeria where, in addition to eating well, you really feel at home. As anticipated at the beginning of the review, we definitely recommend you stop by 👍🏻

29/03/2025: We are a family of four, we often go to eat in this place, because it is very welcoming, the staff are friendly, precise and quick in serving, excellent food and an affordable price for all budgets, we take a complete menu with dessert and sometimes coffee or coffee kills, my son who doesn't want to eat anything enjoys a nice meal here, we recommend it 👍

10/05/2025: Excellent place for business lunches. It offers 3 menu options (first course and side dish, second course and side dish and full menu) at competitive prices and including water, cover charge and coffee. Various and good dishes. Friendly staff.
