The house wine was superb, and although the restaurant was full, we were still given a small table with delicious food that was served promptly. Here, they focus on what truly matters: food, drinks, and the guest!

06/05/2026: We went here for dinner: the setting is very nice, in a beautiful historic town. Unfortunately, the wait staff—a waiter with glasses—behaved rather unpleasantly, making it seem like we were bothering him. When it came to choosing a wine, he didn't have a wine list available; he simply pointed to a few wines from the cellar, where he only recommended overpriced Bolgheri wines, leaving us with no way to choose at our leisure. Definitely avoid the house white wine; it seems watered down. The food was average, portions small. And finally: there was extra food on the bill, a clear attempt to rip us off! When we disputed the bill, the waiter seemed offended and didn't even apologize. So, a word of advice: avoid this place and try to carefully read the reviews, especially the rather strange reactions to the negative ones. I eagerly await the response to this review ;)

13/07/2026: I've been to the restaurant several times, and today, for the first time, I even spent half a day at the beach. What can I say? I had a wonderful time. It was certainly a weekday, so the beach was less crowded and decidedly relaxing. The prices were reasonable. As for the restaurant, everything was excellent, as always. A special mention goes to the young man serving the tables, who was kind and professional—well done! I'll be back soon!

24/07/2026: During my visit to Pisa, I decided to try Capodimonte Pisa and was very impressed. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is truly friendly. I ordered a beef tagliata, and it was cooked to perfection, juicy, and flavorful. The portions were generous and accompanied by fresh, well-prepared side dishes. The wine selection is excellent, allowing you to choose the perfect pairing for your dish. I highly recommend this grill restaurant to anyone visiting Pisa who wants to enjoy an excellent meal in a pleasant setting.

11/08/2026: The restaurant is located on the lower promenade that runs along the village, and is comfortable, quiet, and airy compared to other restaurants in the center. The food is truly excellent, and the service is attentive and friendly. I'd go back!

20/07/2026: The pizza was low standards for Italy. We have traveled extensively throughout Italy and the pizza here was low quality, it's a tourist trap. Nothing like a small village fanily-run wood-fired pizzaria. We assumed because it is wood-fired and the menu sounded well crafted that it would be quality, but the crust was soft and thickly spongy and toppings were minimal. We prefer traditional Italian pizzas. Don't waste money here.

An intimate place where you can enjoy excellent dishes made with top-quality ingredients, expertly prepared, that evoke the simple flavors of home from days gone by. Above all, you can enjoy conversation—something we all too often forget. It's not for those in a hurry who don't appreciate the time it takes to prepare food. The cured meats and pasta dishes are excellent. My only comment: the wine would be better, with a deeper level of depth, and a wider selection of focaccia and other breads would make the whole experience more convivial.
