08/07/2024: Delicious restaurant in a small town.
We were able to put together pizza according to our wishes and there were pasta as a “special order” for our two little ones.
Steaks were priced at 100g and depending on the side dish. Desserts were available depending on the daily offerings.
The toilets were clean and there was even a changing table and high chairs.
Parking spaces on the side of the road or at the nearby “Marktplatz (?)”
The only drawback: there was no Sprite, only Cola and Fanta.

13/08/2024: A really fantastic restaurant in a small garden, far away from the tourist route at the leaning tower. Very good food and even better service - we had forgotten our mosquito spray and the nice waiter organized protection for us. Highly recommended!

16/07/2024: We chose this little diner based on reviews. Whilst it took a while to attract the attention of wait staff, we were delighted with our meals - antipasto platter and polpetti - all the food we had during our short stay in Pisa was lovely!

22/08/2024: The menu is manageable and in Italian, the focus here is on pizza, but it is really tasty. Reservations are mandatory here. Some English and French are spoken.
The terrace is really nice, unfortunately the plastic chairs and tables spoil the ambience a bit.
Prices are ok for the area.
PIZZA costs on average €8-9.
Parking either directly on the street or a little further at the sports field in the town center.
22/08/2024: Excellent pizza, Tuscan cold cuts... Porchetta chips, ravioli. Water, beer. Park for children: who sees them anymore?? Cats nearby, discreet and silent. Very kind waiters. Go up the stairs and arrive at the church. The most authentic Tuscany.

I got married in Pontedera in 1994
Gambero has been a constant point of reference for me since the first day in Pontedera
Excellent cuisine, courtesy and unparalleled attention, a tradition that has been handed down from father to son
I highly recommend it, if you pass through Pontedera be sure to try its pizzas and its cuisine

04/09/2024: What can be said about the Black Swan? Fabulous location, fish dishes cooked with skill... when you leave you immediately think of coming back
01/09/2024: Total disgusting!!!! We were regular customers, we even had a baptism there, the place is always top, but the food was all truly horrendous!!! Hard cold cuts and you can see they've been there for a while, never mind croutons, fried fish makes you vomit and I'm a good mouthful, to the children the tomato pasta brought after a moment is sure to be reheated. All served in 15 minutes all reheated. 80 euros! Throw it away. We will never go there again too bad because the place is beautiful.

12/05/2024: Locale non molto grande nella ZTL di Pisa, ma davvero accogliente. Il proprietario ti fa sentire subito a tuo agio.
Abbiamo ordinato la tagliata, veramente speciale.
Prezzo ottimo, commisurato alla qualità del cibo e alla gentilezza del personale.
Il vino squisito.
09/05/2024: Ristorante piccolo ma molto accogliente, personale molto gentile e attento e ottimi piatti, da provare assolutamente la tartare e le paste ripiene.

21/08/2024: We had asked for a table for 4, the answer was that there were only tables for two and that he couldn't join them, incredible.
There were free tables and they were close together, but discussing it further is completely useless.

Fantastic location
14/08/2024: We stayed in Borgo Tignano on the second weekend of this torrid month of August and it was a very pleasant discovery for us. The location is enchanting, surrounded by nature: an oasis of timeless peace and tranquility, but just a few dozen kilometers from Volterra and San Gimignano. The delightful and very well-kept apartment is tastefully furnished. The landlady and all the staff were very kind and always available.
The excellent breakfast served on the restaurant terrace, in front of a breathtaking view.
Furthermore, and this is no small feat, we were also able to bring our dog with us, given that pets are welcome in Borgo Tignano.
In short, the weekend in Borgo Tignano was truly splendid for us and we hope to repeat this short but beautiful experience soon.

14/08/2024: Esperienza surreale. Avevamo già provato a prenotare in questo locale, senza successo. Tutto esaurito !! Abbiamo quindi dedotto che fosse meritevole di una visita. Quindi, oggi pomeriggio abbiamo nuovamente telefonato e la gentile signora ci ha detto era rimasto l'ultimo tavolo (evviva). Quando siamo arrivati, già abbastanza tardi, metà dei tavoli erano vuoti (?!). Inoltre, una volta seduti, abbiamo notato che altri commensali si guardavano intorno con sguardi disperati, ed un tavolo ha provato diverse volte ad attirare l'attenzione di una cameriera senza successo (uhmm brutto segno).
Arriviamo al dunque. Dopo un'attesa di quasi cinquanta minuti, e non essendo riusciti ad ottenere nemmeno una bottiglia d'acqua, ce ne siamo andati "insalutati ospiti". Magari ci siamo persi la miglior cucina della Toscana, ma di fronte a cotanta squallida insipienza nel servizio, siamo ben lieti di essercene andati.
Un ultimo consiglio. Spostatevi di qualche decina di metri. Al Bar Sport li accanto troverete una bella terrazza, una cucina onesta ed un servizio all'altezza.
