Spectacular location and sublime, refined, seasonal food, all topped off by wonderfully helpful and kind people: thank you!

We showed up without a reservation and were so grateful to get a table. Currently because of the heat their menu is more limited, but still plenty of options and so tasty. It’s a tiny, dear place. Don’t try to drive up to the front door, park in the lane outside the gate. And reservations are recommended!

We stumbled upon it by chance, and it couldn't have been better... everything was delicious, both the staff and the atmosphere were warm and welcoming. The service was excellent, the food was carefully cooked to order, and prepared with a careful selection of ingredients. The menu was varied, each one more interesting than the last. The value for money was truly excellent. I highly recommend it... we'll definitely be back.

Fantastic cuisine, with original and perfectly executed pairings and many vegetarian dishes based on seasonal ingredients. I'll remember the chestnut pudding for a long time; it's truly excellent. The wine selection is also excellent. The service is fast and very friendly, and the fact that the restaurant is located in a quiet, small village is definitely an added bonus.
