We ate there with local friends. The restaurant is simply furnished, hence only 4 stars for the ambiance. We received a friendly welcome and felt very comfortable. The restaurant is located a bit outside of Pisa, but is known far beyond the city limits for its delicious food. We ordered the house wine, which was reasonably priced and simple yet very tasty. The price/performance ratio was unbeatable. The appetizers were various pasta dishes, cooked to perfection – absolutely delicious, just as you'd want pasta to be (1 out of 5). Afterwards, we ordered a 1.5 kg (3 lb) Fiorentino ham, which was initially shown to us raw and then professionally grilled after the appetizer. It was simply delicious. We didn't have room for dessert, but we treated ourselves to a very well-prepared Ponche alla Livornese to round off the evening. Full and satisfied, we decided we would love to come back. Then we ordered a 1.5 kg (3 lb) Fiorentino ham, which was first shown to us raw and then served grilled to perfection after the appetizer. The friendliness of the staff also reinforced this decision to return. In summary: Friendliness, food quality, value for money, and cleanliness make the physical premises a secondary consideration.

EXCELLENT CRUSHES, SANDWICHES AND CROISSANTS

A lunchtime institution: a daily rotating menu, generous portions, fast service, low prices, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. It's cheaper to come here than to eat at home...

We found ourselves and continue to find ourselves well. The quality/price ratio is superb. The increase in the covered outdoor area for the restaurant service has made the place even more pleasant in the summer and also in the evening. The years go by and we continue to return very willingly.

Everything ok, the first and second courses are wonderful, the guys who serve at the tables are attentive and kind, I highly recommend it
