13/05/2026: I'm now a regular customer at Ninni's pizzeria because they always offer top-quality products and professional attention to detail. All their pizzas are a must-try. The amazing cecina and artisanal cakes are highly recommended 💯

08/05/2026: The food itself was really good, especially the dessert, perhaps a little heavy but still delicious. I wouldn't recommend the mixed fried fish at all. As for the service, the staff is extremely kind and helpful, a little slow but everything was fine. At first glance, the pizzeria looks small from the outside, but it's actually very, very large. The bathroom is spotless, with toilet paper available whether you use it or have a spare. Overall, it's a really good pizzeria.

04/06/2026: We came to Barga for lunch from Lucca, and this restaurant was worth the trip. Incredible quality, the pastas were amazing, and the baked chocolate desert was incredible. The kindness and warm welcome was very much appreciated, and the small terrace in back was lovely. Would love to go back again someday.

05/08/2026: After researching best restaurants in the area we visited. The staff were welcoming, the venue and decor were a bit old fashioned, but we were excited for the food! The wine Sommelier was helpful, and picked a white to begin, and a local red blend suitable for the meat. So at this point we were excited…. The bread came, it was stale, we had to ask for oil? Starters.. The raw fish platter with oysters raw fish was presented in piles (diced with no care) prawns in shells and wasn’t accompanied with anything to note. Oysters were ok (I hope) but again lacked the fresh feel, and classic accompaniments. I began to worry…The tag with ‘shaved truffle’ tasted of only butter, and even though I could see what looked like truffle shavings - it tasted of butter (not truffle), not seasoned, bland, and was very disappointing as we love truffle! We were under whelmed with the starters to say the least! We looked forward to duck 2 ways, with pear, apples, sprouts blahhh. It came one way as far as I could tell? duck was pink (✅) but with balsamic reduction smears, jam? Not sure where the reduced stock was? No sprouts?? Very 1980, Bit greasy, not great, The beef tenderloin with foie gras was rare beef on dry toasted sour dough, truffle shavings (no flavour again) couldn’t find foie gras, no sauce? No flavour, dry, dry , dry!! Really poor. I’m not a complainer generally, and I do know how hard it is to run restaurants (3), I would be embarrassed to serve this food. Not sure this place living on past reputation? when spending £190 euro, 2 person, 2 course with wine I would expect much more. Would not recommend. Sorry

08/08/2026: I’ve been to Per 21 many times over the last few years, and every single one of these visits has been incredible. They really know what they’re doing, and will make your evening dining there one of the best in Lucca. The food is expertly prepared, and each course is as special as the one before it. The wine selection is excellent, and there were options for everyone including any who had dietary restrictions or allergies. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough, and I’ve lived in Lucca since I was a child! 🦞🥂

12/07/2026: We sat inside; the outside tables were all reserved. It was pure Italy, with all the chatter from families at the neighboring tables. The food was superb and the service outstanding. Highly recommended, as they serve special dishes at very good prices. Extensive wine list. Exceptionally friendly staff.

28/04/2026: Definitely worth mentioning in the Fuori Casello restaurants, as it's practically right next to the Lucca Ovest exit. What can I say other than to go for a lunch break, but if you can, make a reservation, as the place is small, as they say in those parts. The dishes chosen from the menu are excellent, with just the right proportions that don't weigh you down, especially if you then have to continue your journey. The only thing I'd say is that they should be more attentive to the service, as sometimes orders slip, or rather, they forget. From what I've seen, if they fix this too, they'll be great. They're already doing great!

23/04/2026: Simple atmosphere, good food, and generous courtesy. Notice the care they took to prepare a simple salad! I was lucky, because even though I hadn't booked, they sat me down. I returned for lunch, with the fixed-price menu, but everything was already booked.

05/06/2026: Our host recommended this pizzeria to us, and we were thrilled! It was absolutely the best pizza we've ever eaten! 😍 The staff were also very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this pizzeria if you're ever in Viareggio. 🙏

07/06/2026: A place worth recommending on Pietrasanta's culinary map. We haven't eaten fish this good in a long time. We waited about 20 minutes for our dish. Sea bass baked in salt and vegetables. Simple, but delicious. Served with a local white wine. The portion is sufficient for two hungry people. I definitely recommend it!

13/08/2026: I've been a customer for over 20 years, and it's still one of my favorite restaurants. Welcoming, excellent food, and a beautiful location surrounded by greenery. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.

08/08/2026: Truly a beautiful location in the summer, with a veranda and garden available for use, surrounded by nature. Excellent traditional Lucca cuisine.
