23/04/2026: We ate on the terrace. Good service, good food. This restaurant is worth trying. The house white sparkling wine was good.

26/03/2026: I went there with three friends, and our experience was magnificent. First, we were served a delicious wine (Villa Sardini 2023) that tantalized us with new flavors. Once ordered and served, our dishes were a gustatory ecstasy for all of us, living up to our expectations. The local cuisine was developed with meticulous attention to detail, complemented by a very reliable soundtrack. I was intrigued when I heard Marvin Gaye and Michael Jackson playing afterward. What a pleasure! If you're looking for an excellent restaurant in the best city in Tuscany, this one is perfect.

03/05/2026: Just to echo all the other excellent reviews for this establishment. We booked here for a Saturday night. Lovely food and friendly service. Our bill for a shared primo piatto, two mains and a bottle of wine came to €83. They helpfully split the risotto primo piatto onto two plates. Left a tip in cash as they can't take those on cards sadly. Only a minor cover of €2 a head for their excellent bread. The brown / rye bread was fantastic. 100% recommended.

09/05/2026: A fantastic experience! The food was exceptional, made with top-quality ingredients expertly prepared. But the real added value was the owner: an extremely qualified and knowledgeable person, able to recommend the best dishes and matching wines, all with a rare warmth and touch. You feel at home, yet pampered like in a Michelin-starred restaurant. We will definitely be back.

03/05/2026: Everything was perfect. ❤️ We had tartare with stracciatella and sun-dried tomatoes, grilled fillet steak, and the cherubina, all spectacular. 😋 All the desserts were homemade, and the cheesecake with berry sauce was delicious. But the most important part was the owners' friendliness and attention to their customers. Thank you ❤️ If you're passing through Viareggio, you absolutely must book a lunch or dinner. ❤️

Located beneath the characteristic market loggia, it enjoys a prime location, with an internal terrace offering beautiful views of the Apuan Alps and the Apennines. A varied menu with excellent food and sophisticated pairings, excellent service, and courteous service from all the staff. A truly excellent place to eat or enjoy a delicious aperitif. A recommended stop for anyone visiting the beautiful village of Barga. Highly recommended.

09/05/2026: A restaurant where even those who cook well at home can eat well! Everything is truly delicious, the staff is kind and attentive, and even those without intolerances or allergies, the food is truly superb!

03/05/2026: We chose this restaurant for its completely gluten-free menu, and indeed it was. All the options were gluten-free, meaning zero cross-contamination at the table. Fantastic! The dishes were very good, and the fish was fresh. The fried food was excellent, not at all heavy. The desserts were also a plus. Fast and helpful service, very attentive to our different needs.

03/05/2026: Excellent, we had lunch for two with the "piattissimo" (a mix of calamari, shrimp, anchovies, and fried cod), a portion of chicken nuggets, and fries. I have to say, for just over €25, you couldn't ask for anything better. It's a shame there's so little seating. If we come back at lunchtime, we'll definitely stop by.

04/05/2026: Excellent chestnut flour ravioli, eggplant parmigiana, and grilled vegetables! The lady who served us was very friendly and a dog lover.

27/04/2026: This restaurant is truly a small oasis of tranquility and authenticity, nestled among the trees and the silence of rural Tuscany. Mrs. Marina and the other waitresses were incredibly kind and friendly! The food is very good, traditional and rustic, with prices that are also below average. I highly recommend it, even just for the atmosphere of dining among the trees.

13/05/2026: I'm now a regular customer at Ninni's pizzeria because they always offer top-quality products and professional attention to detail. All their pizzas are a must-try. The amazing cecina and artisanal cakes are highly recommended 💯

08/05/2026: The food itself was really good, especially the dessert, perhaps a little heavy but still delicious. I wouldn't recommend the mixed fried fish at all. As for the service, the staff is extremely kind and helpful, a little slow but everything was fine. At first glance, the pizzeria looks small from the outside, but it's actually very, very large. The bathroom is spotless, with toilet paper available whether you use it or have a spare. Overall, it's a really good pizzeria.

28/04/2026: Definitely worth mentioning in the Fuori Casello restaurants, as it's practically right next to the Lucca Ovest exit. What can I say other than to go for a lunch break, but if you can, make a reservation, as the place is small, as they say in those parts. The dishes chosen from the menu are excellent, with just the right proportions that don't weigh you down, especially if you then have to continue your journey. The only thing I'd say is that they should be more attentive to the service, as sometimes orders slip, or rather, they forget. From what I've seen, if they fix this too, they'll be great. They're already doing great!

23/04/2026: Simple atmosphere, good food, and generous courtesy. Notice the care they took to prepare a simple salad! I was lucky, because even though I hadn't booked, they sat me down. I returned for lunch, with the fixed-price menu, but everything was already booked.

05/05/2026: Beautiful lamb, the quail was excellent and the tiramisu was transcendent! Brovo!

27/04/2026: We ate here last night and it was the best food we've had in Italy this holiday, which is saying something as the quality of the food here is excellent. The staff are very hospitable and speak excellent English. The chef appeared a number of times to speak to guests. We enjoyed our experience here so much that, despite many good options, we came back again tonight.
