14/05/2025: Siamo ritornati con piacere al Merlo ed è sempre una bella esperienza in questo locale elegante, posizionato sulla spiaggia con un rigoglioso giardino ben curato.. La cucina è raffinata, ben curata e di qualità elevata con ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Il servizio sempre molto cordiale, disponibile e professionale. Ritorniamo sempre molto volentieri e lo consiglio agli amanti del buon gusto.

17/02/2025: On Sunday my sister and I decided to treat ourselves to lunch at the Bar Trattoria Marina. As soon as we entered, the stone room immediately won us over: welcoming, authentic, the kind of place that makes you feel at home even before you sit down. The service was fast and warm, but the real show came with the food. Here you feel that the kitchen is in the hands of those who know secrets and handed down recipes, like a silent guardian of the flavors of the past. It's not just about preparing dishes, but about telling a story through every bite. We tasted the tortelli with ragù, perfect in their simplicity, and the porchettato rabbit, a revelation: I had never tried such tasty and well-cooked meat before. To conclude, a ricotta and chocolate cake that still makes my mouth water just thinking about it. What made everything even more special was the kindness of the lady who welcomed us - I suppose Marina herself - who, in addition to serving us with a smile, also gave us valuable directions for the routes around the lake. This is not just a restaurant, it is a little gem of the place. The type of place that not only nourishes, but leaves you with the memory of an experience. We will definitely be back.

06/05/2025: Locale in una via un po' nascosta e quindi più tranquilla rispetto a quelli nelle vie adiacenti, molto carino e accogliente. Il tagliere e i primi molto buoni, una buona cucina tipica. Personale molto simpatico e disponibile. Buon prezzo.

01/05/2025: Siamo venuti a cena per merito di Andrei dell’Hotel Villa Rinascimento che ce l’ha consigliato caldamente per la qualità del cibo e la tradizione. All’arrivo siamo stati accolti divinamente dalla cameriera che ci ha portati al tavolo e offerto 2 calici di vino bianco per il Brindisi. Io ho preso dei Testaroli Bio con cacio e pepe ai carciofi mentre la mia compagna dei tortelli ripieni al ragù con sugo al ragù di carne lucchese. Come secondo io ho scelto pollo coniglio e carciofi fritti e lei una guancia di maiale su letto di purè.. come dolci abbiamo preso una cheesecake e una torta di mele con crema pasticceria e caramello salato..

01/05/2025: The first time we had a holiday in Viareggio we stumbled upon it by chance, reading the reviews. The second time we looked for him. Excellent quality dishes (the ragu tortelli are unmissable) and excellent service make this restaurant a pearl of local catering. Small kindnesses that make the customer feel pampered and at ease in a minimalist but elegant context. Small "furry" guests are also welcome. I can only recommend it highly. Price adequate for the above but well deserved.

Marco and his wife's welcome made us feel at home, the products were all excellent and genuine, the result of particular care and research and then the preparations were of the highest level.
