19/06/2025: A real recommendation if you want to enjoy typical Tuscan food! This cozy osteria is nestled in the hills and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. There's also a great vantage point nearby from which you can enjoy the sea and the sunset – absolutely worth a visit! The dishes are classic Tuscan, authentic, and of truly high quality. Everything feels down-to-earth, honest, and regional – just like the locals do. And all at absolutely fair prices.

16/07/2025: A wonderful experience. The welcoming staff is kind and friendly, as are the dining room staff, who seem to dance with synchronized, fluid movements as they illustrate Chef Mancino's marvelous dishes. The restaurant, which has undergone an elegant makeover, is more dazzling than ever. And then the menu! We chose the experience menu and were deeply impressed by every single course. Undoubtedly, this is thanks to the excellent ingredients, many of which are local, but above all, thanks to the chef, who always manages to give new identities to the dishes he creates. We've been following his work for years, and it's always a surprising confirmation. In short: we can't wait to return!!!

19/06/2025: I was there in March with my friends, I personally liked everything, what stuck with me was that each dish told a story, the plating was much simpler than other starred restaurants, but with an explosion of flavors, the dish that I liked the most strangely was the spaghetti with butter and anchovies. (They also gave us the pasta and the recipe, they were very sweet) The service was good, and due to the location unfortunately we went for dinner, we could not enjoy the view facing the outside.

10/07/2025: Fabulous experience at Sementis. Absolutely not to be missed if you're in the area. A culinary delight, the dishes are breathtakingly beautiful, the venue is beautiful and meticulously maintained, and the staff is fast, attentive, and friendly. Excellent selection of Tuscan bottled beers. I would return again and again. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience!

08/07/2025: A top-notch vegan restaurant! Delicious and sophisticated dishes, reservations are recommended because it's always busy... the vegan sushi rolls (see photo) are amazing!

19/05/2025: The best hamburgers in the Lucca plain. And also tartare, cold cuts and cheese platters, desserts. A wide selection of beers.

02/05/2025: We went to dinner having just arrived in Tuscany and everything was perfect. The hamburgers and the charcuterie boards, truly delicious. They are not cheap, it is true, but the prices have gone crazy everywhere. The service, first class, great attention. And, furthermore, they are rock and roll brothers, ha ha. I highly recommend this place.

26/06/2025: When we were recommended this fish restaurant in the middle of Tuscany, we were skeptical, but the lobster pasta dish of the day quickly changed our minds. Magnificent. Only Italian. Zero tourists.

09/05/2025: As the reviews indicate, the food was excellent. It is a small restaurant, maximum 15 people. That should be doable, but preparing such excellent food and serving your guests is difficult when you are alone. Normally there are two of them, but because it was a quiet evening, our host was alone. After us, 4 more guests arrived and our host was so "busy" with them that it seemed as if he had completely lost sight of us. After a tasty starter and excellent main course, we would have liked a desert and another coffee, but in the end we didn't wait for that. When we put on our coat he came to ask if we wanted to order anything, but we declined. It was bad luck that we just found an evening when things turned out the way they did. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit and wishes everyone a better overall experience.

18/06/2025: It happens that one evening you decide to take a walk after dinner and while walking you realize that you have lost a piece of the house keys. So you start to go back and forth, because you can't give up, it's a dear memory, but it so happens that you start to feel an urge, but pretending nothing is happening you continue back and forth. At a certain point you just can't take it anymore, you really need to go "plin plin". You look around and see a restaurant, a little embarrassed you approach the entrance of the room and seek someone's attention. With not too much enthusiasm a gentleman in a blue shirt of average height approaches and you ask him the fateful question with a certain answer: "Excuse me if I'm a bother, I wanted to ask if I can use your dressing table?". And instead he surprises you and you hear him say "No, it's reserved for our customers". Having no other option you add: "I apologize, but I really need it!" Raising his arm with a gesture that seemed like Ma va a.... he says to me: "Mavaaaaa". Not caring, and not understanding if it was the indication or something else, I use the toilet, which is also very well-kept and clean, and within two minutes I leave, not missing the opportunity to thank him, but adding that he was not kind at all. Leaving I noticed that the place was full of people and the dishes, which were also beautiful, seemed appetizing, who knows, maybe one of these evenings I will come for dinner hoping to find more empathy and kindness. Nothing is owed, of course, but .... A 55 year old. PS I didn't even find the keys, it's not really my evening.

27/05/2025: From Pisa, we spent the day in Lucca, easily accessible after a 20-minute train ride. We had lunch at this restaurant, and it was very good. Very warm welcome. Fast service. Excellent cuisine with fresh produce. A highly recommended place.
