25/08/2024: Ristorante di una villa nella periferia lucchese, aperto anche agli esterni. Location elegante e semplice, non grandissima rapportata anche al fabbisogno degli eventuali ospiti. Qualche problemino iniziale a causa della mancanza di una targa/insegna/indicazione (che può essere facilmente risolto anche solo andando a mettere il nome della villa tra parentesi accanto al nome del ristorante sui vari portali). Un’accoglienza calda ed informale, molto cortese e rispettosa, più da struttura alberghiera che da ristorante (cosa molto positiva). Menu piccolo e preciso, mare e terra. Materia prima ottima e fresca, cucinata molto bene e servita in porzioni non generose ma sicuramente abbondanti. Ottima la lista dei vini. I prezzi sono in linea con quello offerto, parliamo di 40-60 euro a persona di media. Una bella esperienza, sicuramente da ripetere.

31/07/2024: This was, without question, the best meal of our holiday in Tuscany. For those who enjoyed the Bistecca alla Fiorentina (steak), it was something of a culinary awakening. Stretches of our meal were absolutely silent because the food was so enjoyable. Service was friendly and efficient, and the surroundings very pleasant. A local recommended this spot to us and advised to make a reservation, and we are so glad we did. What a treat!

29/07/2024: Consigliato da amici per una cena in famiglia, siamo stati per la prima volta in questo ristorante. Personale gentilissimo, ambiente rilassato e accogliente, hanno gestito perfettamente le ordinazioni abbastanza articolate, eravamo in 7 con anche un bambino e ragazzi. Giusto equilibrio tra piatti semplici e piu elaborati, fra tradizione e innovazione, tutto di qualità..torneremo sicuramente. Unico piccolo neo la climatizzazione in qualche posto arrivava a/c diretta. Prezzi molto equilibrati.

12/08/2024: Among the various restaurants we tried in Lido di Camaiore, La Fascina stands out. The atmosphere is welcoming which creates a relaxing environment. The menu offers a vast selection of fresh fish dishes and as many meat options. Various proposals for children, even off the menu. We preferred the fish, trying the crudités and a baked fish dish. I particularly liked the trio of tartare appetizer, not particularly rich but tasty, and the baked snapper, plentiful and well cooked. For our child we got the pasta with meat sauce which he devoured. The service was attentive and courteous. The extensive wine list and the kind advice of the sommelier also deserve a mention. Recommended for those who love fish and are looking for a quality dinner.

08/08/2024: What an experience. This lovely couple have created a food fantasy. From the moment you arrive your taste buds are driven around Italy. It is not a cheap restaurant, however I would argue it is great value. My wife and I went for our wedding anniversary and we felt it was such a special occasion.

27/08/2024: First time in this restaurant, very good food. Correct service but nothing special. They don't have high chairs for children and I found this a bit strange considering how many tourists there are. We also had a problem with the dessert.. It can happen.. The structure resolved it professionally.... All in all a good place.... I recommend it

27/08/2024: Osteria Miranda's cuisine is delicious, as they like to define it, which aims to enhance Italian and obviously Tuscan ingredients and flavours. Ingredients offered in surprising combinations and consistencies! This in a carefully studied, elegant location, where the modern connects with the past: the link with the old tavern is strong in the many beautiful plaques on the walls. You can find the list of what we took in the comments on this reel! The bill was around €50 each excluding wine. Thanks also to Mattia who followed us with great professionalism and kindness on this splendid evening. What else can I say, theirs is a "cuisine that restores", which not only delights the palate, but offers a sense of profound satisfaction with every bite. Compliments!

29/07/2024: Very nice place Sophisticated details and attention to the customer. The terrace on both sides of the corner restaurant is beautiful. Interesting menu but the tasting menu must be taken by all guests otherwise it will not be served. The dishes are good, fresh raw materials. Excellent attention to allergy sufferers, vegans and celiacs. The wine cellar is well stocked. Average price. I spent a pleasant evening with friends, ate well and relaxed. I'll be back as soon as possible

22/08/2024: Excellent place to relax in a homely environment, but never intrusive. Friendly staff who were attentive to our needs. We stayed with our dog and they put us at ease. Very clean restaurant and restaurant with a nice menu. Excellent quality food. Lots of it. green space and excellent cocktails. Beautiful lake view, excellent atmosphere.

21/08/2024: I am sorry but this is not a hotel for relaxation. My family and I arrived at hotel Rotonde exhausted from driving the whole day, excited to finally rest and enjoy our vacation in a peaceful family hotel. After dinner the hotel hosted an 18 year old birthday party that lasted until 1.30 am with loud music and teenagers screaming. What a fking mess that was! The whole first floor wasn't sleeping that night, all of us were calling to down to the reception where nobody even picked up a phone! The next day we complained and asked to be put into a different room and the hosts explained there will be party every day with 100+ people. We asked to get our deposit back and leave the hotel immediately. The anxiety and stress to get out of there was too much to handle, bare in mind that this was the first day of our vacay! This trip was planned months in advance and finding another hotel immediately wasn't a cheap find. What a horrible experience, especially for people who worked hard to get some time of to relax. Question: How is this a family vacay hotel if parties are happening on the terrace each night? If you are keen to party you will be very happy. If you are a family that needs proper vacay to disconnect then I would highly advice you to not book this hotel. I would also highly recommend that the owners change the description on their website as its misleading, especially for tourists who have to travel pretty much the whole day to get there.

07/08/2024: Nothing bad to say about this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service excellent and the atmosphere enchanting in the little square next to the statue of Puccini. It was dreamy. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in Lucca (BTW this is a city worth your time : gorgeous). Homey feeling and the food was amazing. Buon appetito. !

04/08/2024: Per 21 is located on a side street near the central square. As the name suggests, the restaurant only has 21 seats. There is a small menu with both fish and meat courses and of course pasta is also a must. The tasting menu for under 40 euros includes three courses, a fair price for really delicious food. We liked it so much that we went there a second time during our holiday week. If I could raise one point of criticism, it would be the temperature of the wine served. The white wine was chilled, but the red wine was taken straight from the shelf by the charming hostess. Of course, this is not the actually sensible 12-18 degrees, depending on the type of red wine. Surprisingly, during my Lucca week I only found one wine bar that had the wines at the correct temperature. Amazing in a country like Italy.
