19/03/2025: I am now an old customer of Deserto and I never fail to recommend it to friends and acquaintances. Strategic location 5 minutes from the embarkation for Sardinia. Excellent food, honest prices and very fast and very kind staff. As for the dishes I cannot recommend because they are one better than the other and the choice is very wide. You will have to come back several times to try more things! Well done!

25/01/2025: A mio parere uno dei migliori ristoranti di Cecina al momento. Ogni boccone fa fare un viaggio e trasmette tutto l'amore, la passione e l'impegno di chi lo ha preparato e pensato. Il ristorante ha un'estetica unica con le pareti di vini selezionati che fanno invidia a tante cantine. L'attenzione e la cura verso il cliente che il proprietario aggiunge senza troppe formalità rendono questo angolo di Cecina un posto dove é sempre un piacere tornare.

16/03/2025: A very cult venue, a warm and hospitable environment, reserved tables without annoying noises, very friendly service, special dishes with selected foods of excellent quality and expertly cooked. A special rum adequately accompanied. Excellent judgement!

15/03/2025: Very nice and well-kept place, truly particular dishes, original with high quality ingredients which is reflected in excellent balanced and delicious dishes... super recommended are the gnocchi with oyster and red prawn, chickpea cream soup with poached egg and truffle (the best I've ever eaten), the fried food is also delicious, all with two wonderful IPAs and a wine from Bolgheri. The rum with orange and chocolate was equally good... to make everything even more pleasant the staff from the owner to the waiters who were perfect in everything

21/01/2025: Tagliolini al Tartufo Nero, allo Zenzero si mangia molto bene ci ritorniamo volentieri troviamo sempre piatti dal sapore prelibato.

03/03/2025: Locale carino,cibo nulla di ché(pasta mal cotta,materie prime di bassa qualità),personale/proprietario vergognoso,alla richiesta di ulteriore condimento(erano state servite sul tavolo 2 o 3 boccette pratocamente vuote,con fondo d'olio o poco più per circa 22 persone) la risposta é stata la seguente: PER QUELLO CHE SPENDETE FATEVELO BASTARE! Premetto che il prezzo era stato concordato in precedenza!

02/03/2025: Locale carino, peccato per la qualità del cibo e la sgarbatezza del gestore. Il gestore, su richiesta di ulteriore olio d'oliva per condire, ha obiettato dicendo che per il prezzo concordato (eravamo una squadra di calcio in trasferta ), l'olio ce lo dovevamo far bastare altrimenti lui non ci sarebbe rientrato con le spese. Non ho altro da aggiungere.

19/09/2024: Really nice property, we rented a holiday apartment and were very satisfied. The town center is within walking distance, but very quiet due to its location just outside. Beautiful view from the terrace of the sea and the olive groves. Breakfast typically Italian. We would definitely come back and thank the team for our great holiday!

07/12/2024: If you are looking for a gastronomic corner near the sea in Caletta di Castiglioncello, you cannot miss Caffè Bistrot, located in Via Aurelia 428 A. The owners, Nicola and Cinzia, are true lovers of cuisine, and it can be felt in every dish they serve. Their dedication is manifested in the attention to detail and the quality of the ingredients. Personally, I often stop for work reasons and every time it is a pleasure to come back. But it's not just a great choice for those who work; it's also a great place for a relaxing weekend dinner. Just 100 meters away is the seafront promenade that leads to Porto Cala de' Medici and the center of Castiglioncello, an excellent opportunity for a nice walk after dinner/ or after lunch. A must to try is the vaporata with prawns, monkfish and steamed vegetables: a dish that combines freshness and flavor impeccably. Furthermore, the wine selection on offer is excellent and complements the dining experience perfectly. And don't forget to leave room for dessert! The house tiramisu is simply divine, a perfect ending to an already fantastic evening. Caffè Bistrot is undoubtedly a restaurant to recommend and a place where the passion for cooking is transformed into a memorable experience. I can't wait to return!

23/02/2025: They serve a huge pizza, 40 cm in diameter: those who love quantity won't be disappointed. The service was a little slow, on a Saturday the place was full. The covered veranda is heated by gas burners: the one near our table went out and we waited about twenty minutes before they put it back into operation.

Fin dal nostro arrivo, siamo stati accolti con grande gentilezza e disponibilità da tutto lo staff, che ha reso il nostro soggiorno davvero speciale. La nostra camera era recentemente ristrutturata, curata nei dettagli e dotata di un comfort che non si trova ovunque: il topper sopra al materasso ha fatto davvero la differenza, garantendoci un riposo eccellente. Pulizia impeccabile e atmosfera rilassante. Un ringraziamento particolare per l’attenzione dedicata a nostra figlia Aurora: non solo le hanno regalato un peluche, ma si sono anche messi completamente a disposizione per aiutarci con la sua pappa, nonostante il ristorante fosse chiuso. Questo livello di cortesia e premura è qualcosa di raro e molto apprezzato. Consigliamo assolutamente l’Hotel Villa Margherita a chiunque cerchi un soggiorno piacevole, con un servizio attento e un’ospitalità che fa sentire davvero a casa.
