When you eat at Rendez-Vous, you know you'll eat well; not because it's renowned or because everyone talks about it, but because the food is truly good. The menu undergoes small changes from year to year, but the signature dish is the grilled fish. A winning bet every time. The original recipe that makes it so delicious is unknown, but perhaps it's the secret itself that makes it so good. The service is impeccable; your glass is never empty, and the wait between courses is long enough for a chat with your fellow diners. And then... shall we talk about the sunset?

Very nice restaurant on the Marciana harbor, spectacular views, and very good food. Fresh, high-quality fish, generous portions. Very light fried food.

This restaurant sits right on the water in Marciana Marina, with tables set in a breezy veranda by the sea offering a fantastic sunset view. We were a big group of 11 friends, recommended to come here for genuine Elban-style food, and the recommendation was spot on. The preparations are traditional and simple, letting the flavors of the ingredients truly shine, and charcoal cooking is clearly one of the house’s specialties, giving everything a wonderful smoky depth. After a long, warm day, we started by toasting with Antinori Brut, which accompanied the whole evening beautifully. Marcello’s Potato is the signature dish — a reimagined take on baked potatoes with seafood and cheese, cooked over charcoal. The palamita with Tuscan white bean purée was exquisite, and the octopus salad was soft and full of flavor, as were the warm mixed starters and the sautéed mussels. The main courses were just as special: linguine with snapper, and spaghetti alle vongole, tasty and generous. The homemade pesto gnocchetti were a great vegetarian option, with a rich, flavorful pesto, and the charcoal-grilled dishes — from swordfish to fresh prawns served with sautéed Swiss chard — were fantastic. To finish, I tried peaches in Aleatico wine, a lovely, sweet way to end the meal. Traditional, genuine, and delicious food, warm and welcoming staff, and a beautiful view. We’ll definitely be back.

I've been coming to this restaurant once a year for the past five years. It's a lovely place near the sea, the dishes are delicious, and this year, a special mention goes to the prawns at the Rendez Vous. Prices are normal. The only downside is that every year I book at least two weeks in advance because I prefer a table closer to the sea, and every year, as soon as I arrive at the restaurant, I have to insist on getting the table I requested and, weather permitting, guaranteeing it. I honestly don't understand this attitude!

The food was delicious, but both of our main courses had a hair in them. The view and the ambiance are very nice. Unfortunately, the service wasn't particularly friendly—in some cases, even a bit rude, as everyone seemed more preoccupied with their phones than anything else at the beginning.

We ate very well; the chickpea and clam soup, in its simplicity, was excellent. The staff was very kind, attentive, and friendly. The sea view was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

I always love going back. I went twice last week. Once alone and the food was divine. The second time with a guest. The fish (pezzogna) didn't satisfy me like the first time. It wasn't very fresh. The restaurant isn't cheap; paying so much for fish that isn't fresh that day isn't acceptable. What a shame! Next time I'm in Marciana, I'll go elsewhere... I'll try other options.
