20/04/2026: I call at the last minute; it's April 20th, my third attempt after two restaurants that were full until 2:30 PM, like it was August 15th.
Here, however, I say, "Yes, yes, come on in." And already there, suspicions arise. Too easy.
I arrive... and it's a bar. Tables outside, a quick breakfast atmosphere. And inside, I say, "Okay, this is going to end badly."
Spoiler: no.
It was one of those surprises that also pisses you off, because I haven't eaten this well in a long time. Perfect fried food, flavorful seafood spaghetti, peppered mussels that you can mop up with a slapdash of bread. Everything simple, but done as God intended.
The owners are exactly like the place: genuine, down-to-earth, no pretense. They make you feel at home without that ridiculous theatrics they now pass off as "experience."
The truth? If this place were on the seafront, it would kick half the restaurants out the window. But maybe it's better this way, it remains a gem for those who still want to discover something good without the neon sign.
