19/06/2025: We were staying nearby in Impruneta and came for dinner. The service was excellent despite my limited Italian. The pizzas and wine were excellent value and the staff were lovely.

29/06/2025: To escape the heat of Florence, we chose to go to Trattoria Antico Forno for dinner on the hills of Bagno a Ripoli and precisely in Villamagna. We discovered a little gem. The dishes follow tradition but with a wise touch of innovation. The crostini with livers are garnished with caramelized onion and hazelnuts. The egg in two consistencies with abundant and tasty black truffle demonstrates the chef's technique. Then, for two, we had the ravioli filled with ricotta and orange zest seasoned with duck ragù and pici all'aglione. Excellent bread and good bulk Sangiovese. The terrace is pleasant and well-kept. The service is attentive and informal. We will return as soon as possible. Giant portions. Bill 64 euros

27/06/2025: Over priced. Steak was good but overpriced. Feeling we got screwed with the bill. 165 for a steak, vegetables, regular wine, pasta for 2. Restaurant was empty, we thought we were the first but nobody came on a Friday night. We went there 6 years ago, totally different experience, disappointed. Way better choices around, right next door seemed good and down the road also.

03/04/2025: Very good stuffed scones, but it's a shame that the filling, although very good, is cold, unlike the flat bread, fragrant and very particular in a positive sense. If I have to find a small negative point, it is in fact the cheese filling, it is not melted or melted and actually cold. female and I repeat female staff are kind and courteous. Food score7.5. room 5.9 unfortunately very narrow and uncomfortable and with very little space, even to sit down. Prices 8.5/9 ok, very low. Quantity of food 8.5 quite abundant Recommended for a quick snack. I advise the managers given that with a few targeted adjustments based on my review to find another place to have more space because, I repeat with "little" they could have a lot.

Mario che ha curato il nostro servizio è stato gentilissimo: cappellotti squisiti, di giusta quantità, secondi eccezionali. Conclusione, ci torneremo , i proprietari seguono tutti i tavoli con attenzione e cura. Altamente consigliato

26/05/2025: Taking the pizza to go might be a better idea than staying to eat in the restaurant.. Burnt pizza, not enough staff to serve as a result the service was not optimal, even a fly had entered and moved between the tables.

18/06/2025: Beautiful caprese. Delicious Toscana pizza (wholemeal dough, soft as anything) with boar, sheep cheese and the sweetest tomatoes. Massive wine list. Lovely chilled location.
