19/10/2025: I went for two takeout pizzas, which were really excellent, with a light dough and really good ingredients. I'll definitely be back.

12/10/2025: Comfortable and familiar atmosphere, good and tasty pizza, with a high crust.

20/10/2025: The girls/ladies are really nice and friendly. The brioches are filled to order with cream, jam, or chocolate (the cream is good and plentiful). The atmosphere is ordinary but nice.

16/10/2025: The surrounding area is quite run-down. The bar, however, is a little oasis: a welcoming atmosphere and very friendly staff. I only had a Schiaccina, which was reasonably priced and very good.

30/11/2025: Given the constant advertising on Facebook, we decided to head to this lovely place for pizza with friends one Sunday evening. We drove 35 km on winding, bumpy roads, and upon arriving at 9:45 PM, we were shocked to see the closed restaurant in front of us. Everything was closed, the lights were off. The hours said until 1:00 AM. How can you call yourself a restaurant if you close more than three hours early?

06/11/2025: The atmosphere is dated, reminiscent of a 1980s youth hostel. The food isn't worthy of a Mugello location, and the prices are typical for big city restaurants. It's not worth it.

16/12/2025: We went for a rooftop aperitivo, heavily advertised as "free." For just €8, we got a fantastic supermarket red wine served in a plastic glass, and for another €8, two toasted sandwiches (what kind of aperitivo is it if you charge for the food separately?). When asked to at least have the service in a glass, the bartender's usual polite response was: "Listen to the manager...the usual tourist trap, poor quality. The only nice thing is the view."

14/10/2025: Really excellent food at very good value prices, with friendly and exceptionally speedy service. We had two different types of lasagna - one with a sausage and radicchio filling, and one (mine) a vegetarian pesto version, both delicious and only 8 euros each. Another member of the party had a baccala and potato dish which he also said was very good. The restaurant is tucked up a little side street near the seafront; even on a Monday in October it got quite busy, and evidently it's popular locally. Takeaway also available.

11/10/2025: We searched for and found this place by chance in a small village surrounded by maritime beauty. We highly recommend it as an alternative, not your average seafood restaurant with the usual dishes, but rather unique offerings. The woman who served us was truly kind and friendly. The kitchen is completely open, and the desserts are spectacular. We had lunch for €32 each and left completely satisfied! Well done!

14/11/2025: Very nice restaurant, family-friendly atmosphere. Prices are a little higher than average for the location. However, the quality is very good and the portions are generous. Delicious mixed appetizers. First courses and fried food are top notch. 🔝

27/09/2025: There were three of us, and when we walked in, we had to wait for the people who arrived before us to decide before we got the menu. They have this little chalkboard above the tables, which is a nice idea, but it would be more convenient to have a large one inside and outside with the specials of the day, etc. We didn't know what was available before we walked in, but they focus on pizzas, making these pizza rolls. They've invented something new, and it's good, although I won't comment on that because I'm not a fan. Anyway, the place is nice, especially in the summer. There's an outdoor counter for aperitifs and a mini concert. The inside space is large, but it's too dark, gray and white, lacking that touch of liveliness characterized by color or elements that could make the rooms more pleasant, not only to look at the dishes but also to physically sit there. The waiters are nice and helpful, although they should print more menus because otherwise the customer waits too long and the dinner or lunch becomes heavy. Anyway, here's the menu.

An osteria, as the name suggests... every osteria has an innkeeper, and here the innkeeper is top-notch, capable of entertaining with witty banter and understanding the customer's needs and desires. The steak is exceptional, tender and flavorful, cooked over charcoal. The side potatoes are delicious. The house Chianti pairs perfectly with the bruschetta, which I wanted to order as toasted bread, and which I want to season with whatever I want. And they did it. What more could you want from an osteria? For the innkeeper to recommend a Maremma pecorino! This is the joy of taste, far removed from fashion, from the trendy restaurant (which this is not), beyond the mediocre and sad anonymity of today's bland, samey restaurants!

05/10/2025: I went there for dinner with my wife on a Friday evening. Despite the restaurant being packed, the service was quick and very courteous and helpful. The fried fish and vegetables were delicious, crispy, cooked just right and not too oily. The Vermentino white wine was good. The place was nice and welcoming, and the prices were fair. The only downside is that it's located inside a gas station, but it's a good deal because it has ample parking and is easily accessible.

30/10/2025: We spent our last evening here in Florence (Sesto) and we were not disappointed. A pleasant, welcoming atmosphere that shows that the locals come back. My sister had been here before and they remembered her, which is an absolute good point! The rest only enhanced the dinner. Polite and professional service, delicious wine and great Italian food. The grilled seafood platter was especially good. Completely average prices, but outstanding value for money. I recommend the place to everyone and if I return to the area, I will definitely spend an evening here. Thank you again for a fantastic evening and gastronomic experience!

17/10/2025: The takeaway pizza is always delicious, flat, crispy, and well-filled (like very few people do these days). I highly recommend it!
