21/08/2025: A perfect little pit stop on your Italian road trip. The staff were amazing and accommodating given the kitchen closes at 3 and we ordered at 2:55pm. The food was good. The actual square itself lacks some people lustre. Other than that, it’s worth the stop.

11/02/2026: I stayed with a group for three days and would like to share our experience: - The hotel doesn't have a 24-hour reception; it's only open until 10:00 PM, and you have to enter with a code. This means that if something happens, you have to call an emergency number, and they don't usually answer the first time. We called five times before they finally answered. - There are no common areas for a group of students to socialize. - There's no dining area, not even a minibar. We only had breakfast, and it was served as a group meal because there's no space; it's served in a bar next door. The breakfast staff were very friendly, but the breakfast itself left much to be desired: a sandwich and a croissant. There was no fruit, juice, etc. - The water in the bathrooms was never at a comfortable temperature, and to top it all off, on the last day, we all had to shower with cold water. - Two rooms had no electricity. - Room inspections, required to return the deposit, are carried out by staff without the group leaders entering the rooms without permission. It's not all negative, and the following positive aspects should also be highlighted: - Good cleaning service - The rooms are fine, but some beds are a bit worn.

I spent three unforgettable nights here for a wedding — maybe the most beautiful wedding I’ve ever attended — and it felt like stepping straight into a Tuscan dream. From the moment we arrived, everything was pure magic. The sun was setting over the vineyards, the air smelled of cypress and wine, and the staff greeted us like old friends. The villa itself is breathtaking — full of history, with art and architecture that make you stop and stare. The main villa overlooks miles of rolling hills, and everywhere you turn, it feels like a painting come to life. We stayed in one of the main suites — huge room, incredible bed, high ceilings, marble bathroom — everything about it felt royal. The service was beyond five stars; no matter what time of day or night, someone was there with a smile, a glass of wine, or something delicious to eat. Over three days, we celebrated under the Tuscan sky — a welcome dinner on the terrace with wood-fired pizza and laughter, a rehearsal dinner surrounded by candlelight and olive trees, and a wedding that felt straight out of a movie. The food was incredible, the estate’s own wine was perfect, and the atmosphere was unlike anywhere else in the world. Every corner of this villa tells a story — even the main hall, where old photographs of past guests and weddings hang on the walls, feels like a glimpse into history. You can sense the love, the joy, and the memories that live here. I don’t know why anyone calls this a three-star hotel — maybe they’re trying to keep it a secret. If hotels could go beyond five stars, this would be an eight. It’s romantic, timeless, and full of soul. If you ever find yourself in Tuscany, 20 minutes south of Florence — go. Stay here. Let Villa Mangiacane remind you what magic feels like.

04/10/2025: A very pleasant and tidy place, the staff is efficient and welcoming, and the pizza is very good, especially if you like it thin. A very satisfying thing to try is the pita bread.

13/01/2026: For me, it's one of the best ice cream shops in Florence. The artisanal gelato is excellent. It's a shame the shop is currently closed with a "for sale" sign. I hope it moves to a more popular location than Trespiano. It's a beautiful place, but difficult to reach for most people except during the summer and spring months.

12/11/2025: I was here on October 31, 2025, and had a terrible experience. The gelato was very good and of good quality, but everything else was forgettable. The staff was unprofessional, and the prices were exorbitant. I can't remember the last time I saw such high prices at an ice cream shop. Furthermore, the area is very difficult to reach. By public transportation, you can take bus number 25, 307A, or 302A. Another shameful thing was the condition of the area. The parking lot, sidewalk, and porch were destroyed and in need of complete reconstruction. They were very dirty, with rotten leaves, trash, and cigarette butts. A very sad and neglected area. There's a beautiful view, but it's not an area that's been properly developed.

25/12/2025: Exclusively for the butcher shop; I have no experience with anything else. I bought a T-bone of Mugello beef. I must say, it looked good, and it tasted very good, though not exceptional, but that's fine. I was disappointed that I asked the price and the person at the counter was unsure of the price, as if there were a tourist price and a real price (something I've seen many times). He then proceeded to quote a truly excessive price for what I bought, even though it was a good product. Prices are legally free and up to the merchant, but they must be displayed to the public! €45 per kg is insane. I was in a hurry at the time and didn't think about it (clearly my own fault), but it's objectively excessive. In summary: Good quality but not excellent, 8.5/10. Price 2.5/10.

04/12/2025: I had lunch with my friends upstairs on their terrace, it was a unique experience!! Everything is of Altissina quality, tied to the season and Florentine tradition. I've been ordering from them for years and they've always been able to advise me on how to cook various types of meat I wanted to try; in fact, they write the recipe on the receipt! Not just meat, you can find eggs and even walnut or spelt bread, so many types, all unique, and if you're from Florence, Luca is now famous and is always interviewed on local channels! He's a celebrity now!!! I'm going to make guinea fowl stuffed with cabbage, chestnuts, and mushrooms 😍😘🎉Highly recommended!

07/02/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance. The music in the dining room was a bit loud, the waitresses were kind, and then came the surprise: the pizza, a unique experience. It's been a long time since I've smelled the scent of raw olive oil on pizza. I'm writing this review 12 hours later. I slept great, no thirst, excellent digestion, and no bloating. Then I discovered they specialize in fish, and not only that... I'll try it... It's a shame about the sparkling water; the machine broke, but it's justified by the excellent dinner. Congratulations. I'll be back.

13/12/2025: We ordered takeout pizzas and when we picked them up we were told that the order had been forgotten. Embarrassing.

17/03/2026: Sweets, savory, sandwiches, pizza, tobacco, soft drinks, inside, outside, bathrooms always accessible... and ALWAYS OPEN at any time. A great service, truly right next to the airport.

11/03/2026: A great option for breakfast without spending a fortune at the airport. Coffee here costs €1.30 Inside the airport, €2.70 The 50-meter walk from the terminal is worth the savings. PS: From the parking lot (lane 9), there's a convenient gate connecting the airport area to the bar's entrance, saving you from having to walk along the road.
