16/05/2025: Food was actually OK, but the service was so rude - the younger lady in particular (the pizza chef/waiter was fine). Wanted to sit us in the corridor when the restaurant was empty. When we asked if we could sit somewhere else, we got a “sit where you want " response. She sort of delivered food and answers with a "if you must" attitude. My wife's pasta came well before mine. When we asked for oil etc for the salad, we were told she only had two hands. Said "finito?" when clearing the table. She never asked us if we had what we needed or if the food was good/everything OK. Or if we wanted dessert. All in all a bad experience, very unitalian and we won't be going back. We speak Italian BTW so it wasn't a language thing.

15/05/2025: Stopped here for lunch while driving nearby. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere from the waiter and the locals. Delicious food and value for money. Felt homely. Highly recommend.

02/05/2025: I share a very bad experience of rudeness and arrogance. When ordering I ask for a Parma piadina and some chips with ketchup. I get the piadina with chips and ketchup inside. So I say: "sorry, you misunderstood"...and they reply: "you should have said a portion of chips" I'M NOT SORRY".

19/05/2025: We waren er op basis van een aanbeveling die zeker niet gelogen was. Het vriendelijke personeelsvoorziening de gasten van voortreffelijke gerechten klaargemaakt op basis van eerste klasse producten. Gemoedelijke en aangename sfeer.

07/06/2025: Modern, well-furnished and well-kept place, with the possibility of eating inside or outside...large veranda overlooking the garden...land and sea menu, fresh and quality cold cuts appetizers, well-stuffed and crunchy pinse...shame that they served the appetizer 50 minutes late, and not to everyone at the same time, we found ourselves eating alternately, due to losing the order...and then having to wait more time for the pinse...practically a wasted evening

02/06/2025: Very nice and very local place. We went late on a Sunday evening and it was obvious that it is a place frequented by locals. Really good pizzas with a crunchy and thin base. Lots of choice and VERY cheap! There is a lovely outside area out back.

21/05/2025: Excellent pizzas, very fast service, and good prices. I recommend it. They offered me a delicious dessert. A brownie with cream, nothing to sneeze at.

19/05/2025: First thing , they add random charges onto the bill. We went twice while in florence first time we went for lunch we all paid sepeartely and the woman was confused by the end as there was €2.50 not paid . We assumed it was just our bad math and paid it . Second time we went for breakfast , we agreed one person pay the bill (4 people total) and we'll send him the money as we knew roughly what it would be. We get on the train, and look at the recept we were charged for 2 extra croissants we didn't have but it was too late to correct it and since it happened twice it feels like they do this often . We had 2 croissants ,2 sandwiches, 3 orange juice and 1 coffee . Plus the sneaky extra 2 croissants charge The food was okay for the price. I do believe the food is homemade, however they do microwave it . For the price though we didn't mind , we loved our server on the first day very enthusiastic and charismatic.

04/05/2025: Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e piatti della tradizione locale. Sapori forti e decisi. Crostini e pappardelle eccezionali. Pici all’anatra della casa e stufato dal gusto medioevale. Pietanze ben fatte e porzioni molto abbondanti.

06/05/2025: I can only share the experience of the fixed menu at €13, and I am enthusiastic and I highly recommend it. At this price you will have to choose between 3 first courses and three second courses, including water and wine. ,The place is charming, the service excellent. You can't ask for more. I highly recommend it.

06/05/2025: Beautiful place recently renovated, located in a strategic point and equipped with ample parking. The first impression upon entering is not very good given that both the tables outside and the entire downstairs were empty over the weekend. The food is good, above all you can feel that the ingredients are of excellent quality (the cuddles are not recommended as they are raw and mushy). The pizza is very thin in the center and the tomato is really good. The service is absent, during dinner no one approached the table to ask if we needed anything or to check that everything was fine, just as at the end of dinner no one offered us coffee or desserts. Even the owner perhaps should be a little more welcoming to customers. Average prices. The feeling is that there is still a lot to improve but that this place has enormous potential and can be managed much better.

07/01/2025: I visited this restaurant on a Tuesday afternoon, and although it was practically empty, my experience was quite pleasant. The service was excellent; the staff was attentive, professional, and always willing to answer any questions. As for the food, the lasagna was a notable standout, with an authentic flavor and impeccable preparation, easily one of the best I've ever had. The pizza, while not as outstanding, was well-made, with a crispy crust that will please those who prefer that style. As for the prices, they are within the average range of other similar restaurants in the area. I can't say if it's expensive or not, but considering the quality of the food and service, I thought it was good value. Overall, it's a place that offers a solid dining experience, especially if you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.

15/06/2025: The potato tortelli were bad.... they have gotten much worse since last year... tasteless and with a dough that was still too hard to cook... the porcini mushrooms were tasteless and also raw... the only positive note goes to the porcini pizza, at least they were cooked and were more edible.

15/05/2025: This is a true “expensive and absolutely worth it” experience. All of the food delicious and creative—the chef her is an artist with amazing depth and thoughtfulness. Even the apparently simple dishes are memorable. The service is exceptional, and the waiter makes great recommendations on a routine basis. A fantastic place to relax after a busy day in Florence. Reservations are necessary, as they are also mindful of their food planning each night, but the online reservation process is easy.

14/06/2025: For the price premium we were honestly expected much more. The beef steak we ordered in medium was fully cooked, and while the pasta was cooked properly, it was nearly tasteless. We were hoping for a much more flavorful and authentic experience. However service was excellent — service staff were attentive. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking to enjoy good Italian food. There are definitely better options elsewhere even at half the price.
