27/08/2025: We stayed just one night. Everyone was very friendly, the room was beautiful and spacious, and the tortelli were excellent. It's worth returning.

20/07/2025: On our trip to Provence, we decided to have lunch in Italy before crossing the French border. The GPS recommended a break, and given it was lunchtime, we exited the highway at Finale Ligure. Looking at the list of restaurants in the area, I was intrigued by the photo of La Pergola, so we decided to head up the road that climbs the hill overlooking the sea to where the restaurant is located. We arrived at the reserved parking lot a few meters from the restaurant, accessed via a small pedestrian street. However, due to the rain and the pergola being impassable for lunch, we were told to wait a half hour. By now, we were intrigued, so we waited. Right on time, after half an hour, we were seated, and I must say our expectations were well-founded. The tasting platter accompanied by warm focaccia was delicious! The mixed fried fish was exquisite, and the tuna steak accompanied by burrata with pistachios was noteworthy: a pairing I'd never tried before! Fresh fish was paired with a local wine recommended by the sommelier, which perfectly complemented the food we ordered! Friendly and professional staff. We'll definitely be back. Well done!!!

26/07/2025: Terrible restaurant. The pizza was marble-sized. The fries tasted like oil. The Nutella cake tasted like shit and looked like a corpse. And with that, I bid you farewell.

19/08/2025: This was our 4th visit. Everything was perfect until we had to pay. The waiter even added 25% on top of the payment, despite what we had written 10%. In order not to make a scene I accepted it. But we will NEVER go there again. The food is good, reasonable prices and great place.

07/08/2025: We ate here during our stay at the Hotel Castelfalfi. Friends had recommended the pizza beforehand, so we opted for a Pizza Diavolo and the truffle pasta. We had a steak tartare prepared tableside. For dessert, we opted for tiramisu. The food was good, especially the pizza and tiramisu. The steak tartare was good, but nothing special. The truffle pasta was also delicious. We had made a reservation through the hotel, and after a short wait, we were offered a table inside. Since we preferred to sit outside, we waited a bit. The outdoor area is like a winter garden, so not really outside. Unfortunately, this takes away a bit of the romance from the ambiance. The service is incredibly friendly, but it just seems a bit uncoordinated, so tables weren't cleared for a long time, and it took some time before we could order. The wine wasn't refilled either; we did that ourselves. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant, especially for pizza.

30/01/2025: Trovato per caso questo ristorante in Cerbaia Siamo stati tutti molto bene Locale molto pulito e ganzo come si dice a Firenze ricco di molto particolari simpatici Cibo da 10 Personale di Sala presente e mai invasivo

28/01/2025: Ho avuto il piacere di cenare in questo posto con il fidanzato di mia figlia. Premetto che trattandosi di un Lunedì, l'affluenza non è stata massiccia. Abbiamo prenotato ed al nostro arrivo ci ha accolti Clio (insieme al marito titolari del ristorante). Si è da subito dimostrata molto gentile e disponibile facendoci accomodare. Mi sono da subito sentito a mio agio. L' introduzione della stessa Clio si è focalizzata sulla breve storia della provenienza del nome del ristorante e del tipo di cucina proposta.... Abbiamo ordinato 2 primi e a seguire una fiorentina da poco più di 1 kg.con contorno di patate arrosto. Il tutto accompagnato da una ottima bottiglia di Chianti. La stessa Clio si è preoccupata più volte nel chiederci come procedesse e se il tutto fosse di nostro gradimento. Tra una chiacchiera e l'altra, ci racconta dell' immensa passione per la cucina e il traguardo raggiunto diventando sommelier. Per concludere la serata abbiamo anche ordinato una meravigliosa zuppa inglese. Cosa molto importante è che tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato è rigorosamente fatto in casa. Grandi...

20/05/2025: Fuimos para tomar unos refrescos antes de comer y los precios fueron normales tirando a altos. Lo mejor, coincidir en la mesa con una familia que hablaba español y con la que estuvimos hablando y pasando un buen rato

17/05/2025: Los servidores son divertidos y serviciales, pasteles y café es delicioso, y el espacio en sí es hermoso y acogedor. Ofrecen desayuno, brunch, almuerzo y cena, y happy hour, aunque solo visité para deliciosos cruasanes Nutella y café con leche en los descansos entre clases. Sus batidos de frutas también son deliciosos. Pase por aquí si está en la zona - es una cafetería espaciosa para descansar mientras le lleva a solo una calle de las zonas turísticas llenas.

30/06/2025: Let's say it would be a place of the heart where we return every week. We are from Castelfiorentino so very close, but we like everything, the food is abundant, well presented and delicious, the environment equally beautiful. Very large so the place is always found.

24/06/2025: We entrusted them with the baptism of our little girl. The staff was very kind and they decorated everything as we wanted. They were very helpful with our requests. The chosen menu was appreciated by all the participants who were full and satisfied. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

02/06/2025: Returning after a long time to this place that prepared excellent aperitifs, I found it very bad. The boy who served was very kind, but in clear difficulty, given that many of the things we asked for were not available and that those available did not correspond to what was indicated on the menu and were of extremely low quality. There is no longer any trace of the appetizing Venetian cicchetti of the past. Too bad.

16/07/2025: Really friendly guy behind the counter—exactly the kind of welcome you hope for. The panini was an incredible deal for the price: absolutely stacked with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Great balance, great bread, and just the right touch of seasoning. To be honest, the sun dried tomatoes made the sandwich. This is exactly what I picture when I think of walking into a real Italian deli. Simple, generous, and full of flavor. Would definitely go back.

They also have tables outside where you can have an aperitif and a chat with friends. Definitely a nice place. One of the few places open in August

03/07/2025: Fantastic news! The restoration work on the Cappella Del Giglio-Neri has been completed. The conservation work focused on the interior decorations, bringing to light the frescoes painted by Bernardino Poccetti, born Bernardo Barbatelli, an artist active between the end of the 16th and the beginning of the 17th century. The pictorial cycle is organized into three main elements: the Coronation of Mary, the stories of Saint Bernard of Clairvaux, founder of the Cistercian order, and those of Philip Neri, depicted even before his canonization, which took place in 1622. The central nucleus of the figurative expression is present in the dome, where Bernardino Poccetti painted a lively scene of the Coronation of Mary surrounded by a crowded group of joyful and happy saints. This pictorial representation was created in a period of transition between the Counter-Reformation and the Baroque, in which the devotional and celebratory practices of the patronal Neri family were placed at a point of balance in the artist's lively expressive narrative.

11/05/2025: The church is currently undergoing conservative restoration and the little that has been seen of the interior allows us to imagine the great beauty for those lucky enough to be able to visit it when the works are finished.

14/08/2025: We went there two nights in a row, trying the pizzas and the food, both excellent. The attentive staff and the location, with its very pleasant exterior, combine to make this an excellent place. Well done everyone.
