20/08/2024: We sat down with the fear that it was a "tourist" restaurant given the beautiful panoramic terrace. Our fear was unfounded because in the end both the service and the food were very refined and refined. Excellent experience enough to return the following evening. Medium-high prices but absolutely fair given the context and the quality of everything.

19/08/2024: Terrible experience. As soon as we arrived we immediately noticed a smell of sweat probably coming from one of the waiters. We order an avocado toast with “MARINATED” salmon and a hamburger with “mustard and truffle cream” bacon. We also ask for an aperitif platter but we are told by the waitress that the portions of toast and hamburgers were already "abundant and therefore she advises us against it. When the dishes arrived, however, we found ourselves with two slices of very hard and dry bread (we didn't want to imagine what day it was from) with two pieces of avocado and two slices of salmon which was smoked and not marinated, as written on the menu. The burger always had bread that left you wanting a Swiss and a slice of bacon, all assembled very quickly and without the slightest bit of nice presentation (which for €25 for a burger seems like the minimum to me). Plus you couldn't taste either the mustard or the truffle sauce. Bill: €52, a scam Never again!

19/05/2024: we ate well, a note for those who cook, change the water more often, the spaghetti was al dente but fatty, the fish was fresh and well cooked, the prices are in line with a medium/high restaurant.

31/08/2024: Very good food, the meat was truly excellent and the environment is very inviting, I felt like I was at home, so much so that I asked the staff to turn on the TV to watch the AC Milan match, which convinced me to even take the dessert, which was delicious, I have nothing else to add.

12/06/2024: This was the most delicious and authentic food I‘ve ever had in whole tuscany!! This a really a must see place. A romantic small restaurant with such a beautiful atmosphere. We loved it!

04/08/2024: Ci sono stato più volte, questa volta con amici, abbiamo mangiato fuori del locale, atmosfera e temperature giuste, io ho mangiato: antipasto tartar di tonno, molto buona, calamarata di pesce bianco e capperi, molto buona, ma i capperi non si sentivano, frittura a meta' con amico, asciutta e croccante e un piatto sempre a meta' con la moglie gamberoni arrosto con verdure, buoni; per finire mille foglie scomposto con crema e frutti di bosco, eccellente, in 9 persone abbiamo bevuto oltre all'acqua tre bottiglie di bianco per un totale di 75€. spesa a testa 50€, qualità prezzo molto buono ma lo sapevo gia'. il titolare e la moglie (chef) alla mano e molto cortesi. Da consigliare.

20/07/2024: Una piccola pizzeria da pochi coperti all’interno e un dehor con altrettanti posti. Materie prime di qualità per le proposte delle pizze, tutte ben farcite, personalmente ho mangiato la Piperna dal pomodoro sugoso, un olio all’aglio non invasivo, in generale molto succulenta. Anche i fritti non male, a volte un po’ troppo fritti, ma buoni. Personale molto cordiale e gentile. Nota negativa l’assenza di aria condizionata che in un periodo molto caldo rende davvero molto difficile assaporare le pietanze con relative bevande che subito si riscaldano.

20/08/2024: We went to this restaurant by mistake but what a lucky mistake it was. The food is absolutely fabulous and our waitress, Adriana, was absolutely phenomenal. I can’t recommend it enough - in fact, we’re going back tomorrow night because there were so many things we wanted to try. Local food and flavors but elevated. If you can fit it in to your stay in Tuscany, you absolutely should.

08/08/2024: Abbiamo mangiato una sera di agosto 2024, tutto eccezionale. Abbiamo preso i coccoli con prosciutto crudo e stracchino che consigliamo assolutamente!! Il caprino al forno con cipolla e miele è d’obbligo assaggiarlo perché è spaziale. Ottimi anche i ravioloni. 5 stelle meritatissime. 5 stelle anche al personale, la cameriera che ci ha servito è stata molto simpatica e ci ha accompagnato e saputo consigliare durante la cena

11/08/2024: There were 4 of us, the food was delicious and the dishes were rather well prepared 👍 however when it was time to pay we were added 10% to the final bill as a tip! So the more we consume, the higher the tip and for us it was €30.— euros!!! Clearly exaggerated, who are you kidding? Too bad we won't be going back there again.

07/08/2024: Pleasant atmosphere and friendly, professional staff. We were a large table and we chose the tasting menu. It certainly cannot be said that it is not quality food but the portions of the various tastings are really small and at the end of dinner I did not feel full

17/08/2024: Small and very hot internal environment with malfunctioning air conditioners (one of these drips onto the customer who is at the table below), 1 hour wait for the courses, staff not attentive to requests (wrong pizza, second course completely forgotten), from avoid on holidays or for an important evening. Mediocre pizza.

08/08/2024: Exceptional setting in the middle of a castle garden with the opportunity to witness a gorgeous sunset. Service is very friendly, having little words here and there. However a bit slow to be served. Food was very good without being amazing. A good address while visiting Certaldo Aldo or staying in the neighbourhood.

12/08/2024: At lunch during work break. Excellent quality of the first one tried and speed in serving, as expected to quickly return to work, satisfied. I will definitely come back to try something else and maybe with the family at a different time.
