09/08/2025: A guarantee. Excellent sandwiches and impeccable service. Any further words are superfluous.

02/08/2025: The quality of the ingredients (meat, bun, etc) is very good, however: 1. the meat was very dry and not juicy at all (we ordered 4 burgers and they were all dry) 2. Missing ingredients (example no pancetta croccante which we paid extra for and since we did take away, by the time we arrived home it was too late to go back) 3. ONE HOUR wait for 4 burgers to go! We have two children, they should have advised that the there was going to be such a long wait. We noticed that the Glovoo runners were coming and going so it seems those orders have priority. We had our drinks while waiting for the meal, so not ideal, especially if you have kids filled up on soda and then not hungry enough to finish their meal. There's potential to be a great place, they just need to focus and organize better. Maybe hire another person to help things go smoother.

16/09/2025: Don’t be disheartened if there isn’t too many people in the evening. They serve fantastic, rustic tucsan food in a lovely setting. Fantastic wine as well. If you are wanting something other than pasta and pizza we would recommend. We shared cheese & meat, Ravioli, Osso Bucco, Beans with tomato and sausage and for desert had a lovely chocolate tart and tiramisu. The meal felt like a home cooked dinner, we would definitely recommend. P.s. note for the restaurant- call the ‘marrow’ (on English menu) Osso Bucco people will order this more than how it’s currently presented.

06/09/2025: We went to dinner without any pretensions, we had a steak for two and a glass of wine. €90 each? Are you kidding? They also listed two house entrees on the receipt, but we never received them. I don't even know if they were supposed to be for food or drinks. And then you bring me a steak for over €150, already cut at the table by the kitchen? Are you kidding? What kind of service is that? Plus, the steak wasn't even that great. Not to mention the wine sprayer... Horrible. In short, I'd say robbed. When we asked for an explanation of the absurd price, they told us that the meat in the fridge is priced per kilo... In the fridge... I'm speechless.

27/08/2025: 8:30 p.m. no more burgers, a bit mind-blowing 🥹 So we had to fall back on pasta stew, okay but not outstanding. We had to ask for white wine 3 times to keep it cold... In short, not a great experience.

08/09/2025: I'll start by saying that the quality of what we ate was well above the city average, and that certainly deserves recognition. However, it's absolutely not an osteria to charge €25.50 for—I swear, I'm not kidding—two bites of peposo. I found it utterly dishonest, I'm truly sorry to say. On the contrary, the first course was a decent portion, for a rather low price, considering the average for Florence. The service was rather anonymous and somewhat confusing. There was air conditioning, but it wasn't on, and it was very, very hot inside. Ultimately, €70 for an appetizer, a first course, a second course, a quarter of wine, and a liter of water seems excessive to me, considering the name "osteria." It wouldn't have been such an absurd price if the portion of peposo had been just a little larger. Two bites are truly a joke, even if they are delicious.

29/07/2025: Mangiando Mangiando is now a must, whether for a quiet dinner with my husband or for business lunches. Everything is top-notch: fresh ingredients, carefully prepared and authentic dishes, excellent wine with excellent value. The service is impeccable: professional, attentive, and rich in true knowledge of Florentine and Tuscan cuisine. The service is attentive and knowledgeable, presented with passion and authenticity. It's a restaurant for everyone—welcoming and accessible—but at the same time, it's a true Florentine restaurant, where Florentines don't feel like guests, but at home. An authentic, sincere place. Highly recommended!

15/08/2025: We had the Frittura alla Marina di Grassina (squid, shrimp, and vegetables in tempura batter) and it was delicious! We've been thinking about it all week. You sit outside in a cozy little garden that's accessible from inside; you'd never expect that from the outside. The service is excellent and the food fantastic. Unfortunately, we had to leave quickly, but I'll definitely be back!

08/08/2025: We had a super fresh tuna tartare to start, followed by two pastas: the lemon cream shrimp tagliatelle was outstanding, while the tomato spaghetti was a bit too oily but still tasty. The tomatoes in all dishes were excellent. Dessert was a tiramisu served in a cute plant pot—great presentation and deliciously fluffy. Only downside: the portions were quite large, making it hard to finish everything. A smaller main option would be great. Also, the table bread was hard and a bit watery. We will remeber this place and in the future if we are near we won't hesitste to stop by.

02/09/2025: Delicious pizza, reasonable prices, and great service! The pizza oven is a real eye-catcher—the pizzas spin around in the oven.

15/10/2025: For four people, the bill was extremely high for the quality and quantity of food served. The wine was mediocre to say the least. Service was superficial and absent. The steak was very fatty, poorly presented, and the place was small, rather shabby, with uncomfortable seating and noisy. A forgettable trattoria with Michelin-starred prices.

12/10/2025: Very expensive for what it offers for 4 people for 2 starters, 4 first courses, a steak and a bottle of Chianti red wine €60 per person

03/10/2025: When I'm craving some German spirit, I always come here. I've known it since it opened in 2005 and keep coming back. The dishes are very good; my favorites are the cheese-stuffed sausage and the Black Forest ham, with fantastic mashed potatoes and crispy onions. I also often order the mixed grill of sausages, which is excellent! You can find many very good beers. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The only downside is the high noise level, so it's a bit difficult to talk when the place is full. The atmosphere is very nice and comfortable, it feels like home. To finish, I always treat myself to a nice Nutella pretzel. Congratulations 👏

25/09/2025: Excellent thin crust pizza. One of the best we've eaten. The pasta was also excellent and made properly. Prices are relatively low and overall the value for money is excellent. We would definitely be happy to return.

06/10/2025: A place where you can enjoy delicious seafood dishes using a variety of seasonal ingredients. I had a fabulous risotto with scallops and porcini mushrooms. The wine list is excellent, with a wide selection of never-before-seen options.

19/10/2025: Bad treatment and bad service, the food came cold, a cold pizza and in Italy

19/10/2025: This is the first time in my life I've arrived on time for a reservation and they made me wait for over 20 minutes, and they were "outside in the cold." They treated us incredibly poorly. If I could give it fewer stars, I would.

21/08/2025: We stopped for dinner at this wonderful place, recommended by a lady we met while walking through the village of San Donato. It couldn't have been more perfect! Excellent service, delicious food, and all served with a breathtaking view of the village. We'll definitely be back!

12/10/2025: Just arrived in Florence and looking for a cheap meal. Stumbled upon PaStation and had a Capriciosa Pinsa. It was absolutely delicious with heaps of topping, more olives than I’ve had on any pizza. The staff whilst busy busy were very helpful and very nice. This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and reasonable prices. We will definitely be back.
