26/10/2025: We were in the area and while searching, we found this restaurant that had a good review. At first glance, I wasn't entirely convinced by the time (1 p.m.). The restaurant was deserted, but by then we were there and confidently sat down. The waiter greeted us very kindly and showed us a seat. Looking at the menu, we ordered a charcuterie and cheese platter. The charcuterie wasn't bad, but the cheeses could have been better given the price. Afterwards, we ordered a first and second course, and I must say the presentation of the dishes was good, the quality of the dishes was excellent and very tasty. Good service. I recommend it.

26/10/2025: Excellent pizza with a dough that's not at all heavy! Excellent Neapolitan-style dessert! Nice place! We had a great time.

26/07/2025: Very nice place, very unique decor. It's a seafood-only restaurant, very good. You can tell the fish is fresh and it's served with care. The staff is young and friendly.

11/09/2025: My husband and I visited Florence for our honeymoon and La Frasca was the highlight of our time in Florence. The service, ambiance and food were like no other. We were only in the city for 3 nights and every night we found ourselves having dinner at La Frasca because our experience was just so great. Also, the wine was fantastic! We ended up buying a bottle to bring back home. If you’re ever in the area we highly recommend you spend at least one dinner here!

16/09/2025: Don’t be disheartened if there isn’t too many people in the evening. They serve fantastic, rustic tucsan food in a lovely setting. Fantastic wine as well. If you are wanting something other than pasta and pizza we would recommend. We shared cheese & meat, Ravioli, Osso Bucco, Beans with tomato and sausage and for desert had a lovely chocolate tart and tiramisu. The meal felt like a home cooked dinner, we would definitely recommend. P.s. note for the restaurant- call the ‘marrow’ (on English menu) Osso Bucco people will order this more than how it’s currently presented.

03/11/2025: We spent the afternoon with friends on the terrace; there were 12 of us, and we had quite a few drinks. We asked them to buy us a free shot, and they got very offended. They spoke to us rudely.

21/06/2025: Chapeau Bar was our go to place for coffee and breakfast every morning while we were in Florence. It is a popular neighborhood café and bar located just north of Piazza della Liberta. The space is cozy with beautifully restored brick arch ceilings and wooden counters. We had fresh Italian-style croissants and pastries and excellent coffee - including delicious espresso and beautifully presented cappuccinos each morning. The prices were VERY reasonable. Andrei and his team have created an incredibly welcoming, authentic place with a wonderful community feel. We SO enjoyed our chat with the locals that would come in each morning. 25/10/2025: Difficult to find, poorly signposted. Portions too large... I would have preferred smaller portions with lower prices. The raw fish in the appetizer didn't taste right... cut too thickly, it had an unpleasant flavor. Nicely presented dishes and good service. Excellent atmosphere... but a little disappointed with the food.

10/09/2025: We were nine people and one person didn’t get her Food when the others did 10 minutes ago and when she told the waiter he missunderstood that she didn’t want it but she tried to say that she didn’t get it. And a salad didn’t arrive on time and the other didn’t even arrive. Altough the Food was great.

06/09/2025: We went to dinner without any pretensions, we had a steak for two and a glass of wine. €90 each? Are you kidding? They also listed two house entrees on the receipt, but we never received them. I don't even know if they were supposed to be for food or drinks. And then you bring me a steak for over €150, already cut at the table by the kitchen? Are you kidding? What kind of service is that? Plus, the steak wasn't even that great. Not to mention the wine sprayer... Horrible. In short, I'd say robbed. When we asked for an explanation of the absurd price, they told us that the meat in the fridge is priced per kilo... In the fridge... I'm speechless.

27/08/2025: 8:30 p.m. no more burgers, a bit mind-blowing 🥹 So we had to fall back on pasta stew, okay but not outstanding. We had to ask for white wine 3 times to keep it cold... In short, not a great experience.

13/10/2025: Great restaurant. Great food. Many truffle dishes. Reservations recommended. Superb tiramisu.

25/10/2025: We "escaped" here from a rain shower and just had a drink. It wasn't a problem, and the staff was friendly. I can't say anything about the food.
