08/10/2025: A modern inn run by young, attentive staff. I ate excellent Milanese risotto and equally delicious mondeghili. I recommend making a reservation.

17/10/2025: Rooms were nice and clean. Service was very attentive. Breakfast was very "Italian." I would have expected a bit more here. Everything was delicious and prepared with love. I understand that a buffet doesn't really make sense for such a small hotel, but perhaps a small mini-buffet with jams and cereals, yogurt, etc., along with the "house specialties" would have been more optimal for me.

15/11/2025: This is my first time here, and I'm craving some meat. What can I say? A place with meticulous attention to detail and a unique culinary experience. The quality is truly evident; I tried the menu with a first course, steak, and side dish, and it was a delight! The tagliatelle with steak ragù are unique; beyond the freshness of the pasta, the flavor of the ragù, and all the perfectly balanced ingredients make it spectacular. The meat is juicy and cooked to perfection, as per Tuscan tradition. The beans are creamy, hot, and flavorful, delicious (I'm not a fan of beans, but these absolutely blew me away). The prices are in line with the quality of the dishes, and honestly, it was money well spent. The owner is kind and attentive to the product he offers. I'll definitely be back.

29/10/2025: L'osterai di fuori is a true culinary experience. A typical Tuscan restaurant with old-world flavors. Simple, high-quality cuisine. Every meal features a specialty dish not on the menu, and the wine list is top-notch.

12/10/2025: Excellent choice for dinner in Montelupo. Food was good, service was good, not too much waiting, our timing (~7pm) worked out good. I had the spaghetti con vongole (with clams), done nicely with the right amount of food. Their recommended red wine was an excellent choice. The only part we did not enjoy was the noise level, due to a large group having a reservation at the table next to us. That's normal, they were having a good time, nothing wrong with that, but cannot say I enjoyed it.

28/10/2025: I had a delicious panzerroti and panna cotta! I highly recommend it!

25/10/2025: We "escaped" here from a rain shower and just had a drink. It wasn't a problem, and the staff was friendly. I can't say anything about the food.

27/10/2025: We happened upon it the evening before returning to Florence from the Via degli Dei hike. What can I say? The place is very welcoming, the service impeccable, and the quality of the food is truly excellent. It's out of the way, but we promised ourselves we'd return.

12/11/2025: I went with my husband and friends. We ate very well. The tagliatelle with mushrooms in white sauce were superb, as was the fried food. The other dishes were also delicious. Excellent wine.

04/11/2025: A pleasant surprise along the way: the welcome was excellent in a simple yet refined setting. The service was a bit slow and a bit timid when we asked about the wine, but it was friendly nonetheless. The dishes have strong personality; it's a shame the tagliatelle didn't pair well with the sauce, the only real disappointment. Overall, expectations were met 75%. I think I'll gladly give the place another chance, though, because the atmosphere is truly charming and promising.

20/09/2025: A very cool cafe with a great atmosphere. The coffee and desserts are fantastic 👌 The staff is very attentive, the service is excellent.

21/06/2025: Chapeau Bar was our go to place for coffee and breakfast every morning while we were in Florence. It is a popular neighborhood café and bar located just north of Piazza della Liberta. The space is cozy with beautifully restored brick arch ceilings and wooden counters. We had fresh Italian-style croissants and pastries and excellent coffee - including delicious espresso and beautifully presented cappuccinos each morning. The prices were VERY reasonable. Andrei and his team have created an incredibly welcoming, authentic place with a wonderful community feel. We SO enjoyed our chat with the locals that would come in each morning. 03/11/2025: A historic business, excellent pizza, and under Mattia's new management, it's gotten even better. A special treat: for dessert, order the chocolate calzone—it's out of this world!

02/11/2025: New management, young and dynamic staff. They served us quickly despite the place being packed; they were knowledgeable and friendly. The pizza was good (for those who like it thin) and very well topped. The tiramisu and panna cotta were excellent, all at great prices. Well done, guys... keep it up!

It was our first time there, and they made me and my entire family feel right at home. Everything was excellent, both the pizzeria and the food; the prices were more than fair and honest. 22/11/2025: Good food, tasty and well-served. The owner welcomed us warmly and at the end served us sugarcane juice, a very typical experience. It's worth it.

18/11/2025: Very family-friendly, good food. The pizza diavola (€9) and pici with wild boar ragu (€15) were out of stock. We also tried the homemade cheesecake (€4).

27/11/2025: A good place in Florence, we returned for the second time a year later. We booked through The Fork, they had the reservation ready, and we got the agreed-upon discount without any problems. Good service, excellent wine cellar, and craft beers.

19/11/2025: The staff were friendly and welcoming. They noticed my hand was bandaged due to injury and they sliced my pizza without me asking. The food was excellent and the place very good

02/12/2025: Looked for this place specifically to eat and so glad I did. The pizza was AMAZING. I'm going to be extremely disappointed wen I eat pizza in UK now. The servers were so helpful and friendly and great value.

26/11/2025: Great little spot not far from the Uffizi gallery. Traditional dishes (and a few American e.g. fried chicken and fries). Very reasonably priced considering prime location. Friendly staff.
