03/03/2026: Lovely service and generous portions... a welcome change from the tourist traps nearby! We ended up going back several times during our stay in Florence. Big thumbs up for the incredibly tender potatoes!

22/02/2026: The pasta was outstanding - I had “big spaghetti” with ragu and mushrooms. The service was a little dismissive, but we did go at a busy time. Great location to come from/go to the next tourist spot.

15/02/2026: Always and forever fond memories of this place nestled in Chianti, where you eat and drink superbly and never predictably, with excellent dishes and a dream wine list. Attentive, fast, and warm service, which is not a given. A well-kept place with excellent customer service. We are loyal customers who always return with great pleasure. Thank you all ❤️

08/02/2026: Excellent wine selection. As for the food, the prices are very high and the quality is poor. For example, a second course of tripe was tasteless and tough, costing €25. I won't be returning, even if they invite me for free in response to this review.

08/03/2026: Just a regular pizza. IT’S NOT THE SAME TASTE PIZZA OF NAPOLES! But it’s a nice regular pizza. You should try the Da Michele pizzeria from Naples, is the best pizza of the world! Unfortunately the Firenze da Michele isn’t the same :( Marguerita: €8 Marinara €6,5 Aperol spritz €7 (it’s good)

25/12/2025: I had a wonderful time at Masò, a rustic and welcoming place in the center of Florence. Good food, fast service, and generous portions at fair prices. Experience with a little girl Even though it's not exactly a place for families with small children, the staff was super hospitable: they welcomed us kindly, making sure we had plenty of space and making us feel comfortable without any problems. A pleasant lunch, we'll definitely return.

20/02/2026: It was a pleasure after many years to return to the theatre in this historic location, beautiful atmosphere, friendly and professional staff!

04/01/2026: A fantastic theater, it is one of the oldest still operating in Italy. Fun fact: It's possible to take a guided tour of the theater in its entirety, including the stage, backstage, dressing rooms, and the area beneath the stalls (I recommend it). 1) Guglielmo Marconi worked there before leaving for the United States; an ancestor of a wireless telephone he invented is still on the stage. 2) Duse's dressing room is still there, with a plaque dedicated to her.

19/12/2025: We needed a nice wine for in-house dinner, and stopped by Fratelli Zanobini just to see what we could find. A nice man offered a couple of perfect options and it was only after we were sold on one that we learned this was the wine produced by the Zanobini family!

18/02/2026: Antica Osteria del Sole, located in the heart of Montelupo Fiorentino, is highly regarded for its meats, particularly the excellent Florentine steak, cooked rare and perfectly done. Customers praise the quality of the Tuscan ingredients, the tender meat, the green peppercorn fillet, and the excellent value, all in a quaint and welcoming atmosphere. Also noteworthy are the excellent first courses and wood-fired pizza.

15/02/2026: Nice rustic restaurant in the old part of the city. It truly feels like a place where locals go, which is always a good sign when you’re looking for something authentic. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, with soft jazz music playing in the background. They have their own house red wine, with a bottle placed on every table, which adds a charming touch. I didn’t try it because I had to drive, but I took a bottle with me instead. I ordered a steak, medium rare, and it was absolutely perfect — tender and melting in the mouth. Dogs are also welcome, which makes the place even more inviting. Overall, a wonderful and complete dining experience.

20/12/2025: I didn't give the ambiance its best rating only because it's a bit noisy for me, as I have some hearing problems. Unfortunately, there's only so much space... For a small trattoria where you eat well and spend a fair amount, you can overlook a few minor inconveniences ;-) The people who welcomed us were extremely kind, attentive, and helpful; and human warmth makes everything better. The menu offers a good selection of traditional dishes; the fresh pasta dishes were very satisfying. The tagliata was excellent; we asked for a customization for the pork loin (addition of dried tomatoes and caramelized onion), which was prepared without any problems and we loved it. Some desserts were sold out, but even the remaining ones were good. A very honest account; these days, it helps me come back more often... it's a shame I live in Montecatini, but I'm happy to come here whenever I get around.
