Aperol €7 is a bit steep, but apparently reasonable for Florence. The waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. Unfortunately, there was a small mishap when we paid, but it was rectified after we mentioned it.

Good café and sandwiches! I have a tree nut allergy and told the waiter and everything seems allergy friendly towards my specific needs. There wasn't any nuts on the menu besides salads anyway. The goat and sun-dried tomato sandwich was insane. Aperol spritz are here just like everywhere elze. Sandwiches are 6-8 Euros each and are very filling.

Saturday mid morning. Nice weather. Nice staff. Very good Cafe Ginseng and just a relaxed time at the table. People around were reading, painting, talking. Sit & relax, Life is great.

A very charming place. We stumbled upon it by accident at breakfast time. Delicious coffee!!! Good drinks. We returned for an evening with a good Tuscan wine. It's clearly a local spot, bustling with life, nestled in a small square. The staff is friendly, smiling, and singing along. We recommend it; it's nice to observe the locals.

13/05/2026: We had a great lunch. The staff moved us inside as it threatened rain. Good food and fair cost. The chicken salad and the pasta dish were as expected. The staff hospitality was excellent.
04/05/2026: Last night, to celebrate my dad, Giuliano,'s birthday, we went to eat at Osteria dei Golosi. What can I say? Even if you're not, they make you a glutton. We ate like a 10. Simple but incredibly delicious. We had a classic mixed appetizer of cured meats, crostini, delicious cheeses, and then all the meat. I had a sliced ​​steak wrapped in lard and rosemary. A softness and flavor that, I'm not kidding, I defy you to find anywhere else. The staff were very kind, the atmosphere very welcoming, it feels like stepping into another time. It reminds you of Florence from the past, a true, genuine osteria. But with a touch of old-fashioned elegance. Try it and believe it. Thank you, Osteria Golosi, for existing.

Guido Guidi al Teatro

20/02/2026: It was a pleasure after many years to return to the theatre in this historic location, beautiful atmosphere, friendly and professional staff!
04/01/2026: A fantastic theater, it is one of the oldest still operating in Italy. Fun fact: It's possible to take a guided tour of the theater in its entirety, including the stage, backstage, dressing rooms, and the area beneath the stalls (I recommend it). 1) Guglielmo Marconi worked there before leaving for the United States; an ancestor of a wireless telephone he invented is still on the stage. 2) Duse's dressing room is still there, with a plaque dedicated to her.
