14/05/2025: Refined environment, complete menu of both meat and fish and category pizza. Fair prices for the environment and the quality of the raw materials. Staff up to par, always friendly and kind. To try and try again!

24/06/2025: La Casa del Popolo in Greve is a great place to go for those looking for a simple but welcoming environment. The management is active and always present, and at midday they get busy preparing piadinas and cold dishes, perfect especially in the summer. A place where you feel good, you can grab a quick bite and you can breathe in a nice country atmosphere. Kudos to those who keep it alive!

29/05/2025: Large bar area, with outdoor tables. Well laid out pizzeria, with a large room, excellent service. I ate appetizers and pizza, very good. Quality ingredients. Bathroom facilities inside, very clean.

04/06/2025: A wonderful restaurant with great charm. The service was excellent, we started with a glass of Prosecco, and the food was incredibly delicious and definitely worth the price. I highly recommend going here if you're in the area. You rarely find such good food.

19/06/2025: ‘As of June 25, visited after making a reservation on the site Arrived 30 minutes earlier than the reservation time, but after waiting a little, entered right away, the inside of the store was already full, the ratio of Westerners to Asians was 6.5 / 3.5, and most of them ordered truffle cheese pasta and watched the show more than 4 times. The taste was good, including the Polpo cuisine, but I have been to many restaurants and it was not cost-effective, so I have no intention of visiting againㅠ (but, considering the bread before the meal + limoncello + level of service from the employees + taste, I understand.. ㅠㅠ)

19/06/2025: What a wonderful find. Simply amazing food, and impeccable, friendly and welcoming service. Very caring for my dietary restrictions (coeliac) and the food was simply delicious and deeply satisfying. A real joy.

01/07/2025: Stupendous view, atmosphere, and food. The service was a little slow but it did not detract much from the experience. When dining at night take a walk through the town after dinner and you may see multiple cats!

06/07/2025: We found ourselves by chance for lunch and were very very satisfied. High quality of food and friendly staff. We highly recommend the pear and gorgonzola parcels, and the tortelli with truffle!!

09/07/2025: It was my birthday so I thought I would have a nice fancy solo meal. I booked a table for 1 at 1.15pm. The place was cute and I was excited. After giving me the menu, no one came to take my order. I had to call upon someone after waiting for 15mins. Then I saw, every table was served a bread basket but I was the only person not given one. My pasta and drink came, and they were below average. The host went around all tables asking if everyone was doing ok, except mine. I thought I would order a bday dessert as well but the service and clearly some kind of bias, left me with a sour experience. Maybe cause I was alone or Indian, either way, if you are not white or italian, or do not “look” rich, this place is not for you.

19/06/2025: We celebrated our wedding at the Tenuta La Borriana at the end of July... wonderful place... from the ceremony celebrated in the olive grove, to the dinner on the central terrace... everything was perfect. We were looked after by Chiara and Caterina in everything. Their kindness, professionalism, and so much patience, seasoned with excellent food made the evening wonderful. 05/07/2025: We had dinner for 8 to celebrate a family birthday. We were not asked when booking if we wanted to dine on the terrace and they made us sit in the internal room where on June 27th it was incredibly hot. When we asked to turn on the air conditioning we were told that it was only a cold air barrier and that it would not cool the room. We had dinner with a first course that was quite well known in the restaurant, Spaghetti del Pirata, which I personally did not like because of the excessive tomato concentrate that was present and which took away the fish flavour due to its intensity and also because the spaghetti were not al dente but seemed pre-cooked to me. The fried food was good, but the sautéed vegetables were really flavourless. The restaurant is very nice and has great potential but in my opinion the cuisine needs to improve... this restaurant used to be the best for fish cuisine in particular but it has lost a lot compared to the past.

14/06/2025: food of a rather good quality (I had a club sandwich, good ingredients but definitely too hard bread, and baked potatoes that were too expensive for the quantity of potatoes) and a very nice atmosphere, the only flaw is the waiters. I am of the opinion that when you work face to face with a public (even more so if the prices are not low) you should always serve with a smile and cordiality, something completely absent throughout the service. But the thing that made me turn up my nose the most was that at the time of payment we turned to the cashier and were not even greeted; the girl simply started typing our receipt, put it in front of our faces and said "this is the bill". Honestly, when I go out to eat I expect that, AT LEAST at the time of payment (I can understand that during the service one can be in a hurry and not pay maximum attention to each customer, doing the same job) we were greeted with a smile, a question about how our lunch was going and a thank you with a cordial greeting, things that were completely absent. We went to them for brunch, but given the wide choice that can now be found in Florence, I definitely won't be returning.

30/05/2025: Leggendo alcune convincenti recensioni (e non i soliti “opachi” specchietti per le allodole) ad inizio mese essendo in zona, ho deciso di servirmi di questo locale, ed ho fatto bene! Locale informale, vecchia maniera, dove poter mangiare una bistecca fiorentina “maestosa” servita alla perfezione e condita dalla simpatia del titolare, il Signor Paolo. Buonissimi anche i loro crostini e i fagioli all’uccelletto. Ho apprezzato anche il loro vino (Tenuta San Michele), un Chianti delle Colline Fiorentine servito nei tradizionali ed ormai introvabili fiaschi impagliati: una sciccheria! Prezzi più che onesti e adeguati, così come adeguati sono stati i tempi di attesa. Promosso a pieni voti.
