Here, you'll experience the warm atmosphere of the South, with dishes that tell stories of tradition and passion. The pasta and potatoes with provola is a masterpiece of comfort food: creamy, fragrant, and rich in flavor, just like it's eaten in the alleys of Naples. Also not to be missed is the fried anchovy cuoppo, fragrant and golden, with a taste of the sea and authenticity. 02/08/2025: Arriving late at our vacation spot and a bit tired from the trip, we followed our host's advice and went to dinner at Gli Scugnizzi. We sat on the terrace and ate really well (and in abundance)! The mixed fried fish was tasty, and my son loved the dessert: a cassatina, which he'd never tried before. The welcome was warm, the atmosphere relaxed, and the price reasonable. A good choice for a good dinner!

11/08/2025: An elegant seafood restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. Everything is incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. The orecchiette with clams and bottarga are simply spectacular—worth the visit alone! The maltagliati with shrimp and zucchini is also special. The wine list is also excellent: carefully selected, well-curated, and with truly interesting options.

02/08/2025: It's been over 20 years since I've been back to this restaurant, which has since been renovated and has ample parking nearby. The cuisine never disappoints and remains excellent for those who love quality food. Impeccable service.

26/08/2025: We had dinner there one evening a few weeks ago. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Excellent food and a beautiful location. Totally relaxing. Pet friendly. We'll definitely be back!

10/08/2025: I went with my girlfriend for dinner. The view was fantastic, and the food was equally as good. I recommend it for a private dinner with your partner. The menu is extensive and the prices are reasonable.

20/07/2025: A panoramic terrace shaded by trees. Traditional dishes (Panzanese tagliata) paired with interesting new dishes (eggplant tartare), all beautifully prepared... We'll definitely be back!

24/08/2025: We went based on a recommendation from the host where we were staying and the online reviews looked great. When we went, there were only two parties all night so it isn't exactly busy. We are vegetarian so the menu is a bit limited for us. We expected a lot more but everything we ordered was below average in taste with very very small portions for the price. My wife finished 1/4th of her risotto and abandoned the rest. My 12-year old got 3 tortellini for the kid's meal for EUR 10. This was our least favorite meal on our 10-day Italy trip across Rome, Florence and Venice. The great reviews are a bit perplexing to be honest.

16/08/2025: Martarè has to be the best restaurant we've visited over our two weeks in Italy. I only wish I had grabbed pictures of our meals instead of only our wines. We made a reservation here through our Airbnb host's recommendation. Each plate was carefully crafted and well balanced with flavor. Portions were perfect. We started with The Selection of Typical Tuscan Dishes then I had the Reginette fatte in casa al ragù di cortile. The pasta was incredible, and the ragù was so flavorful. My husband had the Baccalà con l’uva, which he said was also amazing. The wine recommendations were on point my rose was exactly what I wanted and my husband's red wine suited him as well. If you're in Florence you must check this place out, you won't regret it!

16/08/2025: Lovely pizzeria, located right in the main square of San Donato, serves delicious pizzas with made with a thin crust and tastes amazing. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot for families. The staff are very kind and patient, taking the time to explain the menu in detail. We enjoyed it so much that we came back twice during our holiday! Highly recommended.

13/08/2025: The worst pizza in my life. Actually, it's not pizza, but pita bread with filling. Dessert: we ordered tiramisu. They brought ice cream with tiramisu flavor. But we ordered dessert, not ice cream. On the good side: the location is beautiful

17/03/2025: The staff has always been very kind. The food was simply excellent and of good quality. I give a few stars for the very ungenerous portions, at least as regards the side dishes. My daughters had asked for puree three times (because we are very happy to go back) and a measly mesolatina arrived.... I hope this criticism is constructive.

13/08/2025: The waitress was good, but she got a bit confused, perhaps partly because we were all talking at once. The place was too hot; I started sweating while sitting down, and I hadn't even ordered my wine yet. The food was good, but I paid way too much; the prices are high. I paid for an appetizer and two entrees for two people (we split the drinks). In short, I spent €75, which seems ridiculous to me.

13/08/2025: Impeccable cuisine, dishes crafted with attention to detail and top-quality ingredients. The staff is extremely kind, attentive, and always smiling. An experience that combines flavor, hospitality, and a perfect atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

08/08/2025: We just had dinner at this place and it was exquisite. The service was fast and wonderful in the late hours. We highly recommend it. The pasta is delicious.

17/08/2025: Wr walked by this place a few times and I was curious if it was as good as the decor made it look. It Did NOT disappoint! We ordered the beefsteak for 2 and it was outstanding! To make things better Flori, our waitress was amazing. She had a great sense of humor and made great suggestions for wine and dessert.
