Once upon a time, they were called trattorias, but today they seem to have disappeared. Luckily, every now and then, places like this pop up along the way. At Sante's, both the first and second courses are excellent, but the large rotating spit immediately made me crave chicken... truly excellent.

Excellent mixed grilled meats, an old-fashioned inn, a flask of wine on the table, a waiter of few words, they work!!!! The price leaves you speechless, what more could you want, the food is good and the price is low!! Don't tell the owner... he's also not a man of many words, he doesn't have time to waste time chatting... but the important thing is to leave full and happy!!!! Highly recommended!!!!

Quality food and low prices, an old-fashioned trattoria with a touch of the 1950s, it feels like stepping into a local shop where you feel halfway between a bar, halfway between a rotisserie and a trattoria, in a more familiar setting reminiscent of the good old days. Roast meat on display, excellent first courses...what more can I say? A must-try.

Stopped in thanks to a friend and colleague who knows it... just off the FI.PI.LI (Empoli West) A bit hidden, but with ample parking for heavy vehicles! I found the food really good!! Pappardelle with wild boar 🐗 And spit-roasted chicken and sausage!! There was also rabbit and spit-roasted ribs... Special!!!! Water and a bottle of wine 🍷!! Typical, nice tavern-like place!!! I recommend it!! Fair price!!

06/07/2026: Not much to say about this restaurant. We've been coming back every summer for the past two years because it's good value for money and saves us the hassle of scouring Google reviews to find another pizzeria. The pizzas are good (I recommend the thin crust), with generous, no-nonsense toppings. The service is always friendly. The place is nice, the terrace is pleasant and not too noisy, although you might get bitten by mosquitoes. The bill is very reasonable. Not much else to add. It's not a fancy place, but you feel comfortable there, the food is good, and that's all that matters.

22/05/2026: It's a very family-friendly atmosphere, highly recommended. The place was full and it was late, but they still made room for us and the food was excellent (we both had pizza and an appetizer).
