19/10/2025: Beautifully decorated shop, with friendly service from the owner. We enjoyed the appetizer and pasta very much. Unfortunately, the heavy porcelain plates weren't preheated, and the food arrived relatively cold at the table. The same goes for the espresso cups, but the espresso itself isn't recommended either. Unusual for Italy, it's simply watery and lacks crema. This also unfortunately spoils the tiramisu, which presumably used the same espresso.

16/10/2025: Do not hesitate. Book the reservation. We are at two Michelin restaurants on our trip and B.O.r.G.O. Was better than everything else we had. Gabriele was a fantastic host and chef. I will be recommending this restaurant to anyone I know going to Florence.

05/12/2025: Confusing experience. The food was just okay, nothing amazing. The ingredients in the menu were often not listed according to amount, and in some dishes there was missing ingredients or major ingredients not mentioned. For example I ordered a shrimp pasta with spicy peppers, but there were no peppers and the shrimp was a tartar which wasn’t mentioned in the menu. I found myself unpleasantly surprised a few times.

23/11/2025: We had a fantastic 4 course dinner here, even the vegetarian. Every course was delicious and expertly presented. In particular the dessert with the sweetcorn cream was something special and unexpected. Service was really friendly, and I felt very welcome to ask questions and for wine recommendations. Very deserving of its Michelin guide entry.

15/11/2025: Excellent meal at this Michelin-starred restaurant (perhaps the best one-star restaurant we've tried). High-quality service. Prices a tad high, perhaps.

07/11/2025: What a beautiful and delicious restaurant! Everything was perfect. Excellent food, a wine pairing perfectly suited to the dishes, and service beyond perfection. You could hardly do better. Bravo!

27/10/2025: They say good things come in small packages and, in the case of this little store, they are not kidding! Room enough for maybe 3 people to be inside perusing, but they move quickly so don't worry if you have to wait in line. My husband developed a deep love for the butter cookies with apricot jam, so much so that we went back twice during our time in Florence! We also tried their small tarts- the one with almonds is incredible. Not overly sweet, and light but with some real structure in the crust to hold it all together. One of the best bakeries we have found anywhere (including Paris!). Fantastic!

27/10/2025: I ordered a sandwich with different kinds of cheese, rucola, and olive oil. It was so delicious. Especially the olive oil — it must have been a special one because it was light and tasty. In addition, the staff were really friendly.

18/10/2025: A true gem! As a culinary guide I get to enjoy a lot of good food and wine, but rarely ever is it as creative and delicious as here at Nello. Service is fantastic; super professional but not too formal. Must go if you’re in the area!

13/10/2025: We ate really well! Every dish was carefully crafted, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The value for money is excellent. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. A place where you feel right at home, but with top-notch restaurant cuisine. Everything was wonderful, highly recommended!

12/11/2025: I stumbled upon this restaurant while crossing the Ponte Vecchio, and it's the best! The food is delicious, and the view from the window is perfect. The staff is friendly, and the bathrooms are clean! The view is incredible.

27/10/2025: If you got sold to eat across the river somewhere else you straight up blew it. This place was the absolute best dining experience you could possibly imagine. Small family run place with friendly people and phenomenal food with wine I can’t recommend enough. BELLISIMO!!

27/11/2025: This sandwich place is incredibly affordable and delicious. During my expensive trip to Italy, I found this place to be as good value as Neapolitan pizza, and it was incredibly delicious. The names of the dishes might have been a bit predictable, but I loved the Batistutti.

12/11/2025: Visited here from Phoenix, Arizona while I went to an apartment in Certaldo, Italy. I wouldn’t say it’s the best gelato in the world, but it’s very good. And the location is nice right in the Piazza.
