30/08/2025: A huge thank you Gabriel for this dinner. This was the best meal I have ever had in Italy. I always have a lot of expectations when coming to Italy. I researched restaurants for hours before coming to Florence. We travel for the food. And still, to our surprise, it was really really difficult to find good restaurants in Florence. Your restaurant is a gem, I would say almost like a miracle, and it was the best pasta and the most interesting meals we've ever had in Italy. We're really grateful your restaurant exists. Without it we would have left Florence disappointed. So please keep cooking! The pastas were perfectly cooked and the flavours were a wonderful discovery. I can still remember the taste! Your homemade bread was also very comforting. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious and just by looking at it (and all the food that night) we could tell this was going to be better than any tiramisu we had had before. It wasn't just a dinner, it was a gastronomy lesson! Which we will not forget. I believe your restaurant is a must when visiting Florence and I will recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you for your warm welcome and perfect hosting too.

22/07/2025: Incredible modern Italian cuisine with a Japanese twist. If you’re tired of eating at the same trattoria and up for some adventure, I suggest trying this place. It’s been on the Michelin guide, but the food tastes like a Michelin restaurant.

19/07/2025: It’s a small, cozy restaurant with delicious food and excellent wine options. We were served professionally, yet with ease and friendliness. Totally enjoyed our evening and would gladly come back!

27/08/2025: Great place to eat classic Florentine sandwiches. Small but cozy, the waitress who served us was very pleasant, and, most importantly, the food was delicious. We ordered the Leonardo di Caprio and the Taylor Swift, and that same night Taylor Swift announced she was getting married. It was destined to be that sandwich. Joking aside, highly recommended.

16/08/2025: We visited this restaurant for my birthday. The view of the river is very romantic. The service was attentive and very professional. The dishes and appetizers were delicious and refined. We chose the tasting menu for the whole table. The presentation of the dishes was a real feast for the eyes. We had a wonderful time there. A big thank you to the restaurant team, very attentive and efficient.

14/08/2025: Our experience at Borgo San Jacopo was absolutely positive. We're now quite seasoned when it comes to Michelin-starred restaurants, and what struck us most was the service: perfectly in keeping with the elegance of the restaurant, yet friendly and never stuffy. This made the evening much more enjoyable and enjoyable. The restaurant is located in the heart of Florence, right next to Ponte Vecchio, and offers a panoramic view of the Arno River and the Ponte Vecchio itself. We tried to book a panoramic table, but it was already booked; however, as soon as one of the two outdoor tables became available, the staff seated us for the last part of the dinner, so we could enjoy the splendid view. A much-appreciated gesture. The food is excellent. We were truly won over by some dishes, particularly the Fassona beef tartare, the turbot (one of the chef's signature dishes), and the lamb, a new and highly successful addition to the menu. We chose the Experience Menu, which features the most iconic creations. We also had the pleasure of meeting the Chef, who was extremely helpful and genuinely interested in customer feedback. We've seen this in other restaurants of this type, but not with this warmth and attention, and we really appreciated it.

20/08/2025: Il Bufalo Trippone – A small gastronomic treasure in Florence In the heart of Florence, we discovered Il Bufalo Trippone, a small but charming wine bar that conquers from the first moment with its warmth and authenticity. The atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious, perfect for enjoying a quiet break away from the tourist bustle. We tasted a selection of artisan cheeses and salami of excellent quality, served with care and knowledge. Each cut had its own character, and the combination of flavors recalled the essence of the most genuine Tuscany. To accompany it, we chose the house white wine, fresh, aromatic and with a fruity touch that paired perfectly with the cold cuts and cheeses. A highly recommended option to let yourself be carried away by the pleasure of the table. In short, Il Bufalo Trippone is one of those places that make you feel at home, where quality products and friendly treatment are the true protagonists. 14/08/2025: Very nice experience, top cuisine, but don't expect any side dishes as you like, rather very expensive, 90€ per person for the menu, or 130€ main course and dessert. A must do.

13/08/2025: Una volta giunti nella bellissima cornice del Borgo di Badia a Passignano, ed avendo gustato con gli occhi il paesaggio incantevole di manieri e vigneti, vi consiglio una pausa culinaria presso l'Osteria di Passignano dove gustare prelibati piatti toscani innaffiati da un buonissimo rosso del Chianti.

01/08/2025: Exceptional food, wine, and service, with a splendid view. The wine selection was excellent. We went with the prix fixe menu, but it was a bit of a letdown — the main course was pigeon with aubergine and a sauce that unfortunately didn’t mask the undercooked meat. It was quite off-putting.

07/08/2025: My wife and I found this place on our first full day in Florence. We instantly fell in love with the space and especially the owner Lorenzo! This is truly a hidden gem! The food and drinks are fantastic and really affordable! We pretty much stopped in every day we were in town! We can’t wait to visit again!

03/08/2025: Searching a reasonably priced lasagna option near pont vecchio, we thankfully ended up here, and enjoyed our evening thoroughly. It's a small place, on the bank of Arno, offering a nice view of the ponte vecchio. The service was good; the people who served us were happy and highly entertaining, and the lasagna of course was awesome. The other side dishes we ordered were equally good. No less than a 5 ⭐ from me.

29/08/2025: Such a cute little bakery with so many delicious pastries and treats, a must-try 😋 No run-of-the-mill treats. I got myself a torta della Nonne for €2.50, and it was worth every cent 🥰

09/08/2025: We had dinner at this small, family-run restaurant, very homey and with a pure Tuscan soul. The owners are very welcoming and friendly, the portions are generous and cooked with passion and excellent quality ingredients. The house wine goes down wonderfully. I highly recommend it, we'll definitely be back!

08/08/2025: We were there last year, but I forgot to leave a review. If we could give it 6 out of 5 stars, we would. It was a wonderful evening, and we even left the restaurant with cantucci biscuits and the recipe from the lady who makes them. Oh...yes, the food is divine.

22/08/2025: We stopped by chance. The owner, Mr. "i'benzina," is a down-to-earth guy who always puts a smile on your face and offers home-cooked food at a fair price. We'll be back.

17/08/2025: Family owned sandwich shopped that we chose based on vicinity near outlet shops and reviews. The experience more than exceeded expectations. To start; welcomed very warmly and as we were with 10 persons, quickly arranged seating for us. Very friendly owners. The owner showed us their offerings for the day. From fresh pasta, to their potato dumplings and porchetta. We went with a mix of dishes. But the ones truly exceptional were the flatbread sandwiches with porchetta and with lampredotto (organ meat). These were on par or possibly better than the world famous antico vinaio sandwiches in the city. Also the lampredotto with tagliatelle was special! Rest was decent. But just for these 3 I would truly recommend a visit and find out yourself. Only drawback, if you can call it that, is that they are not cheap, options vary from 10-20 euro. But certainly worth it!
